"Sienna Meets Confession"

Sienna was beyond nervous the next morning. She woke up with determination to tell Josh how she felt. Now that she was awake and actually had to do it, the nerves came. She tried not to think too much about it and focused on getting ready for the day. Her parents were already at the kitchen and finishing making breakfast, so Sienna joined them.

"Did you have fun at the party yesterday?" Paisley questions as she sets the table. "Did anything happen between you and Josh?" She sent her daughter a suggestive smirk and Sienna couldn't help the light blush that appeared on her cheeks.

"Nothing happened between us, mom. But the party was fun." Sienna replies, smiling a bit and sits down. "I did meet this cute college boy....I don't think anything is gonna happen with him though. I'm not really interested in him. See, the thing is I have feelings for Josh and I want to tell him today but I'm so freaking nervous and scared." She rambled, feeling a huge weight being lifted off her chest. She wasn't sure how her parents would react, but they didn't look bothered by it. They even smiled at her.

"We had a feeling you had feelings for him. We're not blind, we can see the way you two look at each other." Maverick responded and Sienna's eyes widened.

"I-you-what?" She stuttered out, not believing they saw it. She didn't think it was so obivous, but guess she was wrong.

Paisley chuckles, taking a seat. "Yeah, sweetheart. Everyone can see it. I'm not sure if the two of you see it, but everyone else does."

"Oh, no." Sienna groaned, putting her face in her hands as she blushed. She felt embarrassed that her parents, and apparently others, could see it.

"Honey, there's nothing to be embarrassed about." Maverick tells her, placing a hand on her shoulder. "I'm sure Josh feels the same. It's just a matter of the two of you confessing your feelings. I say the sooner, the better."

"I wanna tell him how I feel." She admits as she lifts her head up, butterflies in her stomach while she talked about this. "But I don't know how to do it or when to do it. Should I just text him and tell him or call him and tell him? I don't wanna be like a coward and not say it in person."

"Well, why don't you spend the day with him? Maybe go on a picnic, watch the sunset. When the moment feels right, you'll know what to do." Paisley suggested, sending her a comforting smile.

"You really think it'll work?" Sienna asked, not sure what will happen. She didn't know what to do and she was scared she would mess it up.

"Of course. Your mother is right, sweetie. You'll know when the moment is right and you'll do the right thing. Just listen to your heart." Maverick advised her and yook hid hand off her shoulder. Sienna smiled, nodding her head.

"Okay. Thank you guys." She said softly. "I appreicate the advise, it was very much needed."

"Of course, Sienna." Paisley smiles. "We'll help you with anything you need."

Sienna smiles. "I know. I love you guys."

"We love you, too." Her parents said at the same time, making her chuckle.

Sienna finishes her breakfast and helps her parents clean up. She then went to her room to get ready for the day as she texted Josh.

Sienna smiles, happy he said yes. She puts her phone down, and goes to get ready. She takes a quick shower, and picked out her outfit for the day. She went with a floral over the shoulder blouse, blue jeans, black and white shoes and a denim jacket. She grabbed her purse, phone and her keys before she left. Her parents were gone now, having to go to work, so Sienna had locked the door behind her as she left.

She went to meet Josh at their spot which was an area at a park by a lake. It was a secluded spot, not many people went there, so it was perfect. Josh was there when she got there, sitting on the bench that was there.

"Hey, Joshy." Sienna greeted, walking up to him and smiled.

Josh turns his head and looks up at her, a soft smile forming on his lips. "Hey, Sisi. You look beautiful as always."

Sienna's eyes widen and her cheeks heat up, not expecting that. She smiles shyly. "Thanks. You look handsome as always."

Josh grins, trying to ignore the way his face was turning red and the butterflies swarming in his stomach. "Thank you. Ready for our picnic?"

Sienna nods. "Yep."

They set up the blanket on the grass, and put the basket on the middle of the blanket. They sit on either side of the blanket, taking everything out of the basket. Sienna packed their favorites and she was happy that Josh had enjoyed them. As they ate, they talked about random things, and just enjoying each other's company.

When they finished eating, Josh helped her pack everything up, and put it away. "That was amazing. What made you want to do this today?" Josh asked curiously as he turned to look at her. He was leaned back on one hand, the other in his lap while he looked at her with a soft look in his eyes.

The look made Sienna's heart flutter and her stomach fill with butterflies. "I just wanted to hang out with you. Plus we haven't had a picnic in awhile. It's something we should do more often."

"Definitely." Josh nods in agreement. "Maybe we can start doing them once a month or whenever we have time. I like them."

"Yeah, me too." Sienna smiled. She was happy that he liked the idea of picnics, too.

They sat in silence for awhile, just staring at the lake and watching the geese swim around in the water. Sienna didn't know if this was the right moment, but she felt like it was, so she turns to look at Josh. "Can I tell you something??"

"You can tell me anything, Sisi. You know that." Josh told her, moving to turn towards her.

Sienna is quiet for a moment, the nerves kicking in again. But she knew she needed to tell him before she backed out. "I'm falling in love with you." She blurted out, her face bright red and her heart racing. She looked away quickly turning to look at the lake. She didn't want to see his face in case he was disgusted or didn't feel the same way.

Josh is shocked at her words, not expecting her to say that. He had never thought that she would tell him that. To be honest, he had a crush on her for a long time now but he thought he would never have a chance with her. He thought she didn't feel the same so he stayed quiet and kept his feelings for her hidden. But now knowing she felt the same way, it made his heart flutter and his face turn red. Lately, he had realized he was falling in love with her. That his crush had turned into something more. So, hearing her confess her feelings for him, made him so happy.

Sienna is surprised, her heart fluttering at his gentle touch when his thumb and index finger lightly touched her chin and turns her head to look at him. "I'm falling in love with you, too." He confessed, staring into her eyes with a look of adoration and love that made her melt inside.

She couldn't help the smile that formed on her lips, her cheeks hurting from how hard she was smiling. Josh couldn't help but grin as well, a look of happiness in his eyes. She was so happy right now. She couldn't believe he felt the same. She felt all giddy and excited. "Really?" She couldn't help but ask. She wanted to make sure this was real.

Josh chuckles softly. "Yeah. I've liked you for awhile, but I didn't want to ruin our friendship so I stayed quiet. I didn't think you would feel the same, so I tried not to act on my feelings. But you have no idea how much I hated it seeing Paxton give you his number." He admits, not ashamed that he didn't like seeing the other boy giving her his number. "It was so hard keeping my feelings to myself. I was jealous and I didn't really have any reason to be, but I couldn't help it. You drive me crazy in the best way possible, and I never want that to stop."

Sienna's smile widens, not being able to keep the happiness away from her face. She was so happy right now. Happier than ever before. She had no idea Josh felt the same way. It was the best feeling ever. Knowing she wasn't alone in her feelings, knowing the guy she had been crushing on since forever, was falling for her, too. She knew exactly how he felt.

"You have no idea how much I hate it when girls flirt with you and try to get your number. It makes me jealous, and I don't like it." Sienna admits, a small frown on her lips. She wasn't happy about that. She would rather they not try and flirt with him. But she couldn't blame him because he was a good looking and friendly guy. He had a lot of girls crushing on him. "But anyway, I don't like Paxton romantically. He's not my type and I don't think he'll ever be. I've only got eyes for you, Joshy."

Josh's heart flutters at her words, a grin forming on his lips. He was relieved that Paxton wasn't her type. It made him feel better. "I've only got eyes for you too, Sisi." He said softly, his thumb gently brushing her chin.

They both couldn't help the looks they were giving each other, a look of adoration and love. They were both so happy that the other felt the same. This was the best day ever. The moment was perfect and they couldn't ask for anything more.

Sienna's smile widens even more, if possible, as she scoots closer to him. Her gaze flickers to his lips and then back to his eyes. "I really want to kiss you right now." She admits, wanting to do nothing more than that. "Like really badly." She was blushing, her face warm and her heart beating rapidly in her chest.

Josh couldn't help the butterflies going crazy in his stomach and the way his heart fluttered in his chest. He felt the same way, so he couldn't help but smirk and tease her a bit. "Oh, yeah? What are you gonna do about it, Sisi?" He asked her, his voice soft.

Sienna blushes even more, her heart fluttering and the butterflies swarming in her stomach. He was driving her crazy. She moves closer, putting a hand on his chest, her heart racing. She was nervous, but she knew what she wanted to do. She just wasn't really sure what to do or where to put her hands. She never kissed before and she couldn't believe her first kiss would be with Josh. She has trouble deciding where to put her hands before finally deciding to put them on his shoulders. "I'm gonna kiss you." She mumbled softly, her eyes staring into his.

Josh felt his face heat up, his heart skipping a beat. He wasn't expecting her to be so bold, but he loved it. He smiles and nods his head. "Okay." He murmured, his eyes flickering to her lips and then back to her eyes.

Sienna smiles softly, leaning forward. She closed her eyes, her lips connecting with his. His lips were soft and warm, and the feeling was indescribable. Her heart was beating fast, her stomach filling with butterflies and her face getting warmer as he kissed her back. His hand moved to cup her cheek, his thumb gently brushing her skin. The feeling of his lips against hers sent shivers down her spine, her whole body tingling. Josh wasn't surprised she was inexperienced, he knew she hadn't kissed anyone before and he was honored she wanted him to be her first kiss. He guided her, teaching her as they continued to kiss. Their hearts were beating fast, their stomachs full of butterflies and their faces flushed.

Sienna was in awe of how his lips felt against hers, and how good it felt to be kissing him. She never wanted this to end. She could stay here forever and she wouldn't care. All that mattered to her was that she was here with Josh, the guy she had a crush on for a long time. She felt her heart flutter and her face turn more red as his hand moved from her cheek to the back of her neck to pull her closer, the kiss becoming deeper.

Josh couldn't help but smile against her lips, the butterflies in his stomach going crazy. The feeling of her lips against his making him feel like he was on cloud nine. He never wanted this to end, but they had to eventually break apart for air. Their foreheads pressed together as they tried to catch their breaths. Josh stared into her eyes with a loving look, his thumb gently stroking her cheek.

Sienna couldn't help but smile shyly, a blush covering her cheeks. Her heart was racing and her stomach was full of butterflies. She had never felt so happy and in love before. Josh was looking at her with a look of pure love and adoration that made her heart melt. She had never seen such a look on his face before.

"I love you." She says softly, not being able to hold back the confession any longer. She had to let him know. "I know that's really soon, but I don't care. I've known you my whole life, and I've had feelings for you for a long time. You're my best friend and I love you."

"I love you too. And you're my best friend as well. I've had feelings for you since forever. You're the most amazing girl I've ever met. You're beautiful, inside and out. You're funny and sweet. I could go on and on. You mean so much to me, Sisi. I would love it if you would be my girlfriend." Josh responded, confessing his feelings to her as well. He was nervous, but he knew he needed to let her know. He couldn't hold it in any longer. His heart fluttered and he was blushing as he spoke, not being able to hide his feelings any longer.

Sienna smiles softly, her heart skipping a beat. His confession made her heart melt. He was such a sweet and loving guy. He was one of the kindest people she had ever met. She couldn't help but fall in love with him. She nods her head, unable to contain her excitement while her smile turns into a grin. "Of course, I'll be your girlfriend!" She then wrapped her arms around his neck to hug him tightly.

Josh laughs lightly, hugging her back and burying his face in the crook of her neck. He was so relieved she said yes. He didn't know what he would've done if she didn't. They stayed like that for awhile, just holding each other and enjoying each other's company. Eventually, they pulled apart and decided it was time to go. They held hands as they walked back to the apartment building, both smiling wide and not being able to keep the love out of their eyes.

"So, girlfriend, are you free tonight?" Josh asked, a teasing tone to his voice. He had a grin on his face and his eyes were full of love as he stared down at her.

Sienna giggles, blushing lightly. She nods her head, not being able to wipe the smile off her face as she squeezes his hand. "Yeah, I am, boyfriend. What did you have in mind?"

"Our first date. How about we go to dinner and a movie?" Josh suggested, his smile growing bigger. He was excited to finally go on their first date. He's waited so long for this.

Sienna smiles, her eyes sparkling with joy. "I would love that."

Josh grins, bringing her hand up and kissing the back of her hand, making her blush more. "Great. I'll pick you up at six."

Sienna nods her head, her cheeks still red. "Okay. I can't wait."

They reached the apartment building and went up to their floor. When they reached Sienna's apartment, they stopped. They turn to look at each other, both smiling widely.

"I'll see you later tonight, girlfriend." Josh teased, his voice soft.

"See you later, boyfriend." Sienna replied, her voice just as soft but had a teasing tone to it as well. She smiled fondly at him, blushing when he leaned down to kiss her forehead.

"I love you." He murmured.

"I love you too." Sienna replied, her smile growing even more. She pulled away to unlock the door and open it, but before she could walk inside, he tugged her hand gently to him and pulled her back to him to kiss her. She giggled, her face turning red again and her heart racing. She smiled, melting into the kiss.

They kissed for awhile, but eventually had to pull apart. They were both grinning, their hearts full of love.

"Sorry, I just needed one more kiss." Josh told her sheepishly, his cheeks heating up.

Sienna giggles, shaking her head and blushes. "It's okay, I don't mind. I could do this all day."

Josh laughs lightly, nodding his head. "Me too. But I'll see you later, okay? Thank you for a great lunch."

"No problem. Thank you for joining me. And thank you for the kiss." Sienna replied shyly, her face warm as she smiled at him.

"Anytime. Now that we're together, we can kiss whenever we want." Josh teased, smiling softly at her. He then said goodbye again, kissing her cheek and squeezing her hand before he pulled away and walked across the hall to his family's apartment.

Sienna walks into the apartment with a lovesick smile, her heart racing. She can't believe her dream came true. She was so relieved and happy everything went perfect. She couldn't wait for tonight.

"Finally! It took you guys long enough!"

Sienna yelps, startled and jumps. She turns around to see her parents sitting on the couch and looking at her with wide grins.

"What are you doing home so early? And how long have you been here?!" Sienna questioned, her cheeks bright red and her heart racing.

"We had the day off so we decided to come home and spend some time together. We've been here for awhile." Maverick replied with a shrug.

"You guys are finally dating, I'm so happy for you guys!" Paisley grinned, her eyes shining. She was so excited for them. She had always thought they would make a cute couple.

Sienna blushes and nods her head, unable to contain her smile. "Thanks." She was happy, she couldn't deny that. "But I have to get ready now because we're going on our first date tonight."

"Awe, that's so exciting!" Paisley gushes, smiling brightly at her. "I'm so happy for you guys."

"Thank you, mom." Sienna said softly, blushing as she smiles at her. "Just please don't tell anyone yet. I don't know if we're telling people yet."

"We promise, don't worry. We won't say anything." Maverick assured her, giving her a reassuring smile.

"Thank you. Okay, I'm gonna hang out in my room for a bit before I have to get ready. Well, first I'll put all this away." Sienna adds, referring to the picnic basket she held. "But then I'll be in my room." She explained with a small smile as she walked further into the kitchen to begin to unpack the picnic basket. Once she was done, she placed the picnic basket on the counter and headed to her room. As soon as she got there, she shut the door behind her and smiled widely, squealing loudly. She was so excited and couldn't wait for tonight. She just hoped it would go well.
