Description: Guang wants only one thing for Christmas, to see Leo

-------------------------------------------

The way my thumb scrolled through my social media bored me. All I spotted was the massive amount of endless pictures of skaters in the Christmas spirit. That included wearing red stockings in the individual's name, exhibiting their rich in radiant Christmas tree, or simply wishing their followers the best of the holidays. I bit his lip in vexation. It was everything but fine this holiday. A Christmas ordinate was nowhere to be seen at my mother's house. And that was just how I wanted to be. I'm not in the state of wickedness to be hating on such a festive and delightful holiday. No, No. There was something missing this Christmas that made me turn into like this.

My thought was brushed off as I felt my phone vibrate between my palms. Glancing at the screen I smiled. I swiped to answer. The phone quickly turned into camera mode as I watched the person on the other side of my phone smile. His room was pitch black except the natural lighting which enlightens his face. His rugged auburn locks blocked half of his toned face. The American chugged, what seemed to be coffee then swiped his hand across his dirty mouth. I couldn't help it but chuckle. He ran his fingers through his bangs before speaking. "Hey, baby." He said with his hoarse voice.

I turned myself over to my stomach. "Hi, Leo." I waved. My eyes observed the way Leo's lips touched the edge of his cup, sipping the hot liquid down his throat. "So how was your day?" He began asking. I placed a finger on chin, tapping. "Hmm, let me think," I said showing off the whites of my teeth. I mentally tried revisiting my earlier actions that took place today. They weren't as quite exciting as skyping Leo. "The usual, you know practice until 5 pm then watched T.V." My finger curled the threads of hair on my bangs. I slightly turned my head aside, admiring Leo's morning looks. "And you?" I asked. Leo took another sip from his cup. "It's 7 am Guang, I don't have future vision to know how my day is going to turn out." He chuckled between his sentence. His sweet melancholic laughter was enough to make me join. But my smile faded as soon another thought came to mind.

I ceased the twirling sensation from my hair. My feet started to tackle each other from behind and goosebumps were scatter across my body. My trembling lips bit each other as my eyes glared somewhere else. I believe Leo noticed my stressing as I heard him spoke across my device. "Is something wrong baby?" I hung my head from my shoulders and said a 'yes.' Biting my inner cheek I glanced back up at the screen, ready to confess. "Leo?" My shaky voice started. "Yeah." He said back. "I miss you so much." My eyebrows were know knitted. I curled up my knuckles for courage. I heard his voice reply flatly, emotionless saying "Me too."
"No Leo." My hands pushed my phone closer to my face. "It's almost Christmas and you're not even here." My lips curved into a frown, almost a pout. I felt like I was ready to let tears flow. Why am I such a baby? My caramel hair blinded me, for now, I was hanging my head low again. I tried to bury my face somewhere, hiding the fact that I was ready to cry.

"Hey." The voice of my sweet assuring angel spoke. His voice as sweet as honey warmed me.

I watched his pitiful face speak. "I know I can't make it for Christmas but I'll try to be there for New Years." He weakly placed a smile. "But that's next month!" I whimpered. "Not Chinese New Years but at the end of December."

The end of December was only a week from now and I don't know how long my loneliness could last. All I needed from him was his embraces he gave to me, his promising words, and his soft kisses on my cheek. Leo made me feel like home. He makes me feel like I'm more than just a skater representing China. More than all that.

"It also hurts me that we're both across the world and we can't do nothing about it. I miss you." The American said. "No, no. I need you, Guang." Those were the words I wanted to hear from his lips. Those were the words that I had choked and hard to commit. I need you. "I need you to hold you at night whenever you have a nightmare or to praise you when you are at your best. I wanna be there for the good moments in life."
"Leo, you are my good moment in life." I bashfully flirted. I mirrored his smile from across the screen. I rubbed my screen as if it was Leo's face I was caressing. I need you to, Leo. I need you every day~
