Description: Leo takes Guang to their first date

-------------------------------

It's been the tenth time since I've scanned myself through the mirror. Cautiously, my fingers brushed through my disheveled locks, but they sprang up forward hastily. With the tip of my fingers, I placed the loose threads of hair back with the burgundy sea of hair.  I haughtily stifled the wrinkles on my cottoned V-shaped long sleeve. With the help of my hands, I was able to roll the sleeves up to my elbow. I made sure I balanced out my muscular features with my shirt. I didn't want receive admiration from strangers, other than Guang tonight. This was all about us two tonight. Just me and Guang. Oh dear. I swallowed the lump in my throat as I continued my final examination. My cottoned, fine shirt was tucked into my jeans. But my belt was the barrier between my jean and my shirt. I stared at the blurry reflexion through the gleaming buckle. I reached over to the drawer and ensnared my cologne. Adding a feeble amount of my best cologne was refreshing. My aroma was not scented too hard nor too soft, just like Guang likes it. Then, the knock on my door startled me. My mouth opened but the person behind it spoke first.
"Um, are you almost finish there?" Asked the sweet innocence of Guang. I quickly took another glance at myself before opening the lock. "Ready," I said, opening the door.

My eyes widen as my jaw dropped on what was presented in front of me. The Chinese teen was simply wearing a sweater that clung to his hips and shorts that stopped by his knees. The bubbly shade of pink was overpowered on his sweater. But I have never seen Guang expose so much skin. This date must be really important for him to do something quite risky. I couldn't help to notice how he threw a generous amount of blush on his face.  His hazel hair was remained the same, though. It all blended swell. It was so casual, unlike my fancy cotton rolled shirt and my gleaming belt. "I should probably change." I blurted out. I tried turning my back but Guang's soft fingers took my wrist softly. "Don't." He said. Turning my head to him, I looked. "You look amazing." Smiled the foreigner. I mirrored his smile.

Fortunately, my house wasn't far from the state carnival. I took the advantage of Guang's presence here in America. My goal was to take him sightseeing the beautiful place of America. I wanted to give him the official guide to my home country. Although these recent walks at the park weren't special, going to the state fair was our official date. It took guts and days to prepare my whole speech (which was cut into a sentence because Guang already said yes.)So I was proud to be embracing his hand while walking to the state fair.

I tried to hang on every word the Chinese teen spoke, but it sound like a sweet melody I would listen daily. And his lovely smile he abruptly place was hard to stare at. I resisted the urge of kissing him at the spot because we weren't that far in our relationship. Not yet.

We entered the state fair and Guang's already in awe. It must've been how the lights flash and illuminate the full moon. I watched as his eyes wandered at every corner. "Where do you want to go first?" I whispered, not wanting to interrupt his amazement. Again, his eyes danced around to observe the shining lights, the prizes, and the big slides. I notice how he sunk in the screams of the excitement of others and how he sniff the delicious aroma of sweets. Guang slowly freed his hand as he walked towards. "I want to go up there." The Chinese teen pointed at Ferris Wheel. Raising my eyebrows, I was worried if Guang was scared of heights. The way the wheel slowly turned was no problem, but when we would reach the top would he grab hold of me? Maybe cuddle with me? "Are you sure you want to go there?" I asked. He turned his nodding head. Guang embraced my hand as we ran towards the line for the Ferris Wheel. As we ran I was pleased with the sound of giggles that Guang made.

We spent the time chatting while waiting for the line. But as soon we were directed to enter inside the Ferris Wheel, my heart pounded. Sitting down on the ride was when I realized how much my heart ached. I felt a heat rise up to my cheeks and goosebumps roll around my body. My head turned to Guang, how was beside me, his eyes glanced at the view ahead. Although the ride wasn't occupied with enough passengers, Guang was still in awe. As our cart made a slight moving motion, the Chinese teen scooted closer to me. I watched as his hands folded into one. Then the Ferris Wheel began turning.

"We're moving." Breathes Guang.

The aching of my heart ceased and was overwhelmed by the company of placidity thanks to the view underneath me. Peeking out the cart, the whole street was illuminated with lights. Now I was in awe. A breeze kicked in but it wasn't severe, unlike the other days. My mouth shaped an 'o' when I felt a warm object on my hand. I turned my head to see Guang's palm on top of mine. I smiled. I placed my hand over my boyfriend and pushed him close to my chest. With his eye widen, he looked at my face. I ran my fingers through his rich hair. I was careful enough not to pull any precious hair of his.

"I'm enjoying this date, Leo," he whispers.

"Really?" I questioned.

"Mmhmm."~
