( Your POV )

You were in the game. You had already maxed out your sword skill since you fought a lot of monsters. You got your daily experience from the game and leveled up. You can now wear that f/c robe you always wanted since you're level 60. You put on the f/c robe, raising your defense an attack stats. You were more of a melee fighter, so you stuck with your katana. You knew and learned some magic, but you only used it in emergency situations, and you barely knew about magic. You focus more on sword skill. You pull up your menu and pressed on 'Add Friend' You then searched up 'Kirito' and found his profile. He was level 70, and had black clothing. He looked not the same as in real life, he had black hair, yes, but his face was more mature. You didn't either, you had an ugly shade of pink hair, with ponytails. You were okay with the color pink, but of course it had to be an ugly shade. Too bad you couldn't customize your character. Customizing costed money, but a crap ton of players were probably already at the city and you most likely didn't have time for that. You were too lost in your thoughts on customizing that you got startled by the 'New Friend' notification on your menu. You smiled and pressed 'Follow.' A map then shows up. Kazuto shows up in a nearby town, moving towards you. You smile and pull your hood up, covering your face. You then use dash, causing you to move really fast towards Kazuto. No more than 10 seconds later, you stop dashing and sit on a nearby log in the forest. You see Kazuto's trail in the distance and you smile to yourself as you see him stop in front of you.

"Hello, Y/N. I didn't know you were that high leveled." Kazuto chuckles.

"Me neither. Level 70? Pfft, no-life." You smirk knowing he was pout.

"Hey!" He pouts.

"You're so cute." You reply.

"At least I have a cool robe." You smirk even more.

He narrows his eyes and flicks your hood off.

"Pink hair?" Kazuto laughs so loud the laughter fills the forest.

You groan. "Hey, there wasn't any customization!" You roll your eyes while smiling.

"You still are cute no matter what." Kazuto boops your nose and turns around.

"Try not to call me by my real life name in public, alright?" Kazuto says after a pause and turns back to you.

"Why n- Oh yeah. Me neither." You make a skeptic face and look around.

"So what were you doing before?" You ask him.

"I was helping this red-head dude train. Weren't you supposed to play with B/F, too?" Kazuto asks as he puts his hand on his hip.

"Yeah, but he said he had to go to a wedding or something like that."

You then smirk again. "So, this red-head dude... You're cheating on me already? It's the first day, Kirito." You say his name, trying to get used to it.

"What? Of course not. Also, what's with the name? We're not in public yet." Kazuto asks, his hand still on his hip.

"Just trying to get used to it." You smile a bit.

"Just don't get used to it too much, or you might call me that in real-life too." He laughs.

"Same for you, you dork." You say, laughing too.

"Hey, we should go to the next village." Kazuto says, still holding in his laughter.

"Nah, I like it here. We just talk and chill. Besides, my dad told me to check on him in like 5 minutes." You smile weakly.

"Are you gonna be okay?" He asks, with worry in his voice.

"Of course. I'll be back in like 3 minutes, I just need to log out." You say.

"Okay, good luck!" He says while holding a peace sign.

You open up the menu, seeing the 'log out' button is not there. You look at the menu in confusion. You look up at Kazuto, he waves again. You smile and open all tabs. No log out button.

"Hey Kazuto, where's the log out button, again?" You ask, scratching your head.

He opens up his menu and looks at the menu in terror.

"It should be right here..." Kazuto says as his voice trails off.

"It might be a bug." He says and groans.

"Oh no.." You hear him mumble before you see him and you get highlighted with blue.

You appear at the Beginner's Circle and see something in the sky.

"Hello, all players of SAO. I am the game-master, Akihiko Kayaba. As you may have noticed, there is no log-out button. This is not a bug, I had intentions for this to be here. This is what I planned for the game. Now since that is covered, I will tell you some I guess, 'rules.' First, if your HP hits zero, You're dead. You die in real life, and in the game. You lose your life. 2,000 people have died already. Second, If anyone in the real world pulls off your headset, or anything else that can cause the headset that can get off your head, you will die from brain damage. Third, to win the game, you have to get to floor 100. Beat the boss on floor 100, you win. It's simpler said than done. Also, I have given everyone a gift for buying my game. It should be in your inventory. I should be going now. Good luck!" He says as he disappears from the sky.

You check your inventory, and see a new item. You click on it and it's a mirror. You look at it and are shocked to see yourself. You now have your normal H/L, H/C hair, and your E/C eyes.

As soon as he disappears, the whole crowd starts running in different directions. You look in every direction, trying to find Kazuto in the giant crowd. You then see him towards the middle of the crowd.

"Kazuto!"

You run towards him, he's in the middle and looks your direction.

"Y/N-"

You tackle Kazuto with a hug and he flinches, but then hugs you back.

"Are you okay, Kazu?" You say as hug him tighter.

You always called him Kazu when you were scared, or as a nickname sometimes.

"I'm fine.." He says as he rubs your back to calm you down.

"Come on we gotta go, all the players are gonna steal loot." He says as he equips his sword.

"Right, Right." You say as you equip your katana.

"Stay in that alley over there, I gotta talk to somebody." Kazuto says as he walks the opposite direction.

You do as he says and pull up your hood. You look at him. He seems extremely serious and more cautious. He was always a dork and always played around but know he seems to know what he should do next and seems way more serious. What a cute dork. But of course I can't be thinking of this right now. You are trapped in a game. You can't leave. What if your dad pulls your headset off? No. It should be in the news. What if you die? You can't see Kazuto again.. You look up and see Kazuto talking to a red-head. You increased your hearing skill by a lot from singing,practicing with your magic,and classes. You picked up a bit of what they were saying because they were in the opposite alley that you were.

"Wanna...come....me?" You hear Kazuto say.

"No.....Friends.....way..." The red-head says.

Dang, now you wish you finished that hearing class.

"Suit yourself......safe........luck!" Kazuto says and then turns around.

He walks out the other way.

Two hands then grabbed your shoulders from behind. You took out your katana and stuck it out at them really quick. It was just Kazuto.

"Kazuto, don't scare me like that!" You whisper-yelled.

"Sorry, just testing you." He smirks.

"Well then, don't." You say as you swing your katana around.

"Careful with that thing, you might hit yourself." Kazuto smiles again.

"Also, we should call each other by our usernames. I'm afraid we might say it in public and people might call us the beta twins or something like that." Kazuto says, with a smile fading.

"Kazuto, I mean-- Kirito, I told you already-- We're not the psychic twins. You wish." You say as you stop swirling your katana and put it in your sword case.

Kirito coughs. "Who needs the psychic twins-- wait, we're in japan--"

( Psychic twins are actually quaking )

"Kazuto, I mean-- Kirito, we should get going. People are gonna steal the loot, remember? Anyway, we should team with those people that found the boss." You suggest, putting your katana back in your sword pocket.

"Good idea, let's go, Goober." Kirito walks, with a smile.

"Goober?" You cross your arms.

"It's not your real name."

"Fine." You scoff.
