( Kirito's POV )

It has been a few hours. Where can she possibly be? I don't know. Asuna has been following me for the past few hours, which has made this harder than I thought. As I put on my gloves, I felt another tug from my cloak. I turn around with a really frustrated face and spot Asuna pointing at more rare rabbits.

"No, Asuna. I can't find Y/N. Rabbits don't matter right now. I just want to find her and get this over with. Please, can you at least cooperate? What if you lost the person you loved?" I say, walking away.

I almost teared up. I have to be strong and fight. I can't wimp out and start crying. I am going to find Y/N. I turn around a bit, and see Asuna all shaken up.

"Are you o-" I say, but she cuts me off.

"I'll help you." She says seriously, with her head peeking up.

I nod. I don't believe her, but let's see her potential. She seems really serious from her usual tone. She walks to my side, I have no idea where I'm going, so I decided to go to the nearest town, and ask around for help.

I have been asking for hours, but nothing. The only answer I got was a local newspaper that stated that players have gone missing in a dark forest north of the cabin. I doubt she's there, but it's the only chance and only thing I could rely on right now. I follow the map I drew, from other people saying where it is. Almost perfectly, I made it there without any stops. I looked ahead at the dark, eerie forest as my hair swayed in the wind. I turned to the right, where I saw Asuna looking up at the trees. She hasn't said a word since that rabbit encounter. I nodded at her, with her nodding back. We both walked inside, already the forest having an unpleasant vibe. After maybe 20 minutes of searching, we found a rock. Asuna and I ran to it. We looked around it, but nothing was found. I turned my head to make a sign at Asuna, but I saw a pair of hands grabbing her mouth with a fully dressed in black person was behind her. Before I could do anything, everything turned black.

( Y/N POV )

You finally woke up. You saw Kirito in front of you, asleep with tape on his mouth and chains on his hands, tied to the wall. Same with Asuna, asleep near him.

"Krrroo.." Came out of your scarved mouth.

You moved your mouth, taking off the scarf or bandana, or whatever was on your mouth.

"Kirito!" You yelled, causing his body to flinch.

He fluttered his eyes open, and he sat up.

"Y/N! I fnnnnd oo!" He said as he tried to move closer to you, causing the chains to drag him back as he flinches in pain.

"Kirito, don't move.. You'll be okay.." You said as you stood still.

You heard a familiar giggle, as well as familiar footsteps walking towards you.

The person in black laughed, and then looked at you and Kirito in the room.

"Let us out!" You say as you struggled.

"Looks like both sleeping beauties woke up." The person said.

The person took off their hood and revealed themselves.

"Did you miss me?"

"Lilly?!"
