** Time skip to a couple of Months **

You both arrived at a village and sat down at a bench.

"Hey, I'm gonna get some food. Stay here, alright?" Kirito said as he stood up and patted you on the head.

You've gotten used to the name 'Kirito' by now. But it's true, you are a seperate person here than the real world. Lately, there's been lots of 'red' and 'orange' players which are into killing other players. You've encountered a few with Kirito, but you remember fighting them with Kirito.

You wait for Kirito patiently. Bad thing you ran out of sandwiches. Kirito was a bit disappointed to hear that, too. It's been 10 minutes and you've been getting a bit worried. You were about to stand up and look for Kirito, but you were stopped because you saw him turn the same alley and walk up to you with another girl.

"Hey, sorry I took so long. The line was long, but this girl was kind enough to lend me some food. She's max cooking skill and her food is so good!" Kirito says excitedly.

You turn to look at the girl. The girl had long, blonde hair, and she was wearing what seemed to be expensive, clothing.

"Hey.." You say quietly, hoping she heard, at the same time hoping she didn't.

"Hi! My name is Asuna." She says with a smile.

Asuna takes out a sandwich out of her backpack, and you see Kirito in the corner of your eye get excited.

You laugh. "Kirito always gets like that when he's excited."

She laughs a bit, and then gives Kirito the sandwich.

"Do you want one?" She asks you.

"Sure." You say as she grabs another one from her bag.

You take a small bite and fell in love.

"This is awesome!" You say as you eat it really quickly.

"You can say that again!" Kirito says as he finishes the sandwich.

"Thank you for this, it was very nice of you. But I have a question." Kirito says as you watch them weirdly.

"What is it?" She says and sits between you and Kirito.

Something about her presence and her sitting there made you feel awkward and weird. Then again, she doesn't know you're dating?

"Why did you pick to give food to me instead of all the other people in the line?" Kirito asks as he notices her presence on the seat, but shrugs it off.

"Eh, I don't know. You kinda just 'stuck out' it's hard to explain, trust me." She says as she keeps her eyes on Kirito.

"Oh.. Um.. Okay. Thanks for the food, we really appreciate it." You say awkwardly, fiddling with your fingers, hoping she gets the message to go.

"No problem. Can I walk with you guys? But if that's fine with you, you can say no if you want to!" Asuna says as she stays in between you and Kirito.

"Sure.." Kirito says casually, even though you can still notice his awkwardness.

You and Kirito both got up at the same time and stood really close to each other. You held his hand. He looked surprised, mainly because you barely do that, and he always does it instead. He was about to question it, but you held it tighter.

Asuna walked and got on Kirito's side, making Kirito scoot closer to you.

Asuna then looked at your hands and made a weird face.

"Oh, so you guys are dating?" She says with a weird tone.

"Y-Yeah.." You say, ruffling Kirito's hair, giving her the message.

She becomes quiet, and you decide to pretend she's not there.

"So, Kirito. I think we should go grind. You want to?" You say, keeping your eyes on him, and taking quick glances at Asuna.

"Sure. Asuna, you coming?" Kirito says without looking at her once. You're pretty sure he gets weird vibes, too.

"Yeah, of course!" She looks up again and gives a smile.

You three arrived at a pathway, with a giant plant monster that was really tall towered above you and Kirito,hissed.

Before Kirito or you could do anything, Asuna rose into the air, and struck the monster with her sword. The monster then exploded into particles.

Kirito looked at her. "That was awesome, Asuna! Nice job!"

Asuna looked surprised, but then smiled.

You looked down, and then away. You could've done that. Hearing Kirito say that made your heart sink. What's going on? Kirito does this to everyone all the time, but now you're feeling off and weird.

Kirito noticed your 'offness' and asked what's wrong.

"Nothing, I'm fine.." You faked a smile, even though you had no idea what was wrong, either.

Kirito and Asuna walked ahead. You saw Kirito keep his distance from Asuna, but Asuna stuck by his side. You followed behind, and saw Kirito and Asuna killing monsters together. They would have a conversation, and when you try to get in it, Asuna dismisses you, and Kirito doesn't notice.

"Asuna, you're pretty good at killing monsters, y'know?" Kirito says.

"Thanks, you too!" Asuna says as she reaches for a fist-bump.

"Awesome, what monster next?" You say.

"So Kirito, did you see that skill I used on that plant-thing?" Asuna says as she picks up her pace with Kirito.

"Uhh..Yeah..I did. U/N, we can fight that monster if you'd like." Kirito looks back at you, with a smile.

You couldn't help but smile at his gesture.

"Kirito! Let's fight that boar!" Asuna says.

Before Kirito could say anything, Asuna grabbed his arm and they started fighting a boar.

You looked down and sat on a rock. You felt different and wouldn't stop looking at Kirito and Asuna. Especially Kirito. Something was wrong, but it felt different and it hurt. You looked at the ground until you saw a pair of boots walk up to you. You looked up and it was Kirito.

"Hey, anything wrong?" He says as he puts his hand on his hip.

"Oh.. Hey, aren't you supposed to help Asuna with that boar?" You said as you saw Asuna look at you and Kirito with an angry face.

She needs to take a hint. Seriously.

"Yeah, but I told her I needed a break. So, what's up?" He says as he sits next to you on the same rock.

Seeing him here made you feel so happy that you almost started crying. What's going on?

"Nothing much.. I just got a bit bored.." You say, lying again.

You didn't know what to tell him, because you didn't even know what was wrong yourself.

"You never get bored fighting monsters. Come on, tell me the truth." He says as he grabs your chin and forces your head to look at him.

You felt butterflies in your stomach. His touch and gesture made you feel so good you just wanted to hug him and tell him that you're here.

"I don't know, it's just that.... Asuna kind of makes me feel weird..." You say as you smile a bit.

"Me too.. If you want, we can fight the next monster together." Kirito says as he kisses your forehead, and then gets up.

You couldn't help but smile wider and look at him with a dazed off expression.

"I love you." You say as you stay wide-eyed at your own words.

Kirito looks at you with wide-eyes, but then lets out a smile.

"Love you too."
