For the next few days of Ten being in heat, he received several care packages and he swore, he'll have to have his own cabinet to store these pills and medicines. He still doesn't know who keeps giving him packages and food, and he wants to find out. This coward doesn't even want to show up their face for once. Ten wanted to personally thank them.

Once he was fine and his heat's gone, Ten went out to get River in his uncles' home. Before he goes, the omega left a little sticky note on his front door if ever the person will pass by and put something infront of his door again. For once, he's the one who's eager.

Ten would've waited for them and just personally talk to them, but he, too, wasn't ready to face them. He was nervous. What if it's a creep? It suddenly him shivers. But surely, they're not like that. Hopefully.

Well, Johnny's not a creep. Though, he's not the one who leaves the packages infront of the omega's door. He lets someone else do it instead. He was just too afraid. Also, he's trying to hide himself. Ten doesn't want to see him anyway, the last time they talked.

"Sir, I found a letter addressed to you when I came there to put the stuff you sent for them," a personnel of his said.

Johnny furrowed his eyebrows and hesitantly grabbed the sticky note from his hand, "He didn't see you, did he?"

"That was just plastered on the front door."

The alpha looked back at the note.

'The packages were a great help. Can I thank you personally?'

"Personally? He'd be disappointed then," Johnny uttered, throwing the note away, "If he ever sees and asks you, just tell him anything but me. I'd rather have him know nothing."

"Of course, sir."

Would he be able to stay anonymous for so long? He doesn't think so but he'll do it as much as he can. Johnny doesn't want to cause too much trouble for Ten anymore now that he's here. He doesn't want to see him getting tired because of work. He should be the one kicking his ass for them. He should have stood up for them.

Ten deserved better.

And it makes his chest ache. But he promised he won't give up. Johnny will try his hardest to make Ten understand. Either they'll be together again or not, he only wants to let the omega know why he left them. There was no day that the alpha forgot about him.

It was the first time that Ten appreciated fresh air. It always feels so good going out after his heat. Before he even goes to Taeyong's house, he bothered buying something for his friend as a 'thank you' gift for taking care of his son for a week. Also, just to treat him for once.

Once Ten arrived, he was greeted by two kids who hugged both of his legs. The omega smiled at them, ruffling both boys' hair. River missed him dearly so Ten went to carry him, letting his son hug him tightly by the neck.

"Good that you're here. I just cooked lunch," Taeyong uttered happily, pulling his friend inside so they could eat together.

"I bought ice cream," Ten said and handed it out to the omega who looked at it like a kid before he went to put it in the fridge for the meantime.

He then saw Jaehyun coming down the stairs, from his office maybe. Blue went to him and made grabby hands, asking his father to carry him which the alpha did. Everyone goes to the dining area and sits on the chairs.

"I was just going to grab River and we'll be on our merry way but...I can't say no to food," Ten uttered.

Taeyong chuckled, "It's family day, anyway. We should do these often. Also, it's good to see that you're well."

"It's been hell of a week," the omega said.

"Oh, tell me about it," Taeyong chuckled.

"Atleast someone's taking care of you," Jaehyun commented.

"Well, they're just giving care packages and food but they did help me," Ten suddenly remembered about the note he left. He's curious if they read it.

"Ah, by the way, I'm looking for accounting staff. You might be interested, Ten," the alpha said.

The omega gasped, "No way! Sure, I'll take it."

"You'll have to go through a three-month training, though."

"I'll take it, Jae."

Taeyong smiled, "I'll be responsible for Riv, then."

Ten will have to be more cautious then. He'll be working in a new place and doesn't know too many people around the place. He guessed he'll be fine. Fortunately, that would be his excuse so he wouldn't meet the alpha anymore.
