Avalon Dupain-Cheng is the twin sister of Marinette. The two of them had actually been born on separate days. Marinette was born July 9th at 11:41, while Ava had been born July 10th at midnight.

The two of them had always been close since they were born. When Ava wasn't doing so well as a baby, the doctors had moved Marinette next to her in the same incubator and it made her feel better as a baby.

She used to have basic black hair, and she was different than she is now, as opposed to her now black and pink hair with a different style.

But, one thing that had never changed, was her love for music. Ever since she was really little, she had a strong love for music in whatever form it was.

At eight, she had discovered that she loved the process of making music. On her birthday she had been given a small violin to practice making music, because she at first loved to play classical.

So, while her sister was into fashion, she had always been into music.

She had violin lessons, but at ten she played more guitar. Both normal and electric.

She was just a regular girl, who had a passion for music and tried really hard to make it in the music business.

That is, until an old man had different plans for her.

She was walking down the street headed towards orchestra practice when she saw an old Chinese man and she helped him up.

Next thing she knew when she got home, she saw she had a jewelry box in her cello case, opened it, and a weird floating bird came and gave her superpowers.

Ya know, normal teenager stuff.

And not long before, she met Adrien Agreste.
