Chapter no 11

Tumhari koi galti nahin hai.

Hum aapko kabhi chodh ker nahin jayenge Dhruv. Vachan hai aapki Tara ka.

Dhruv stabbed an unfaithful soldier with his sword in his stomach knocking breath out of him. He pulled the sword out of his stomach. Another unfaithful soldier gripped Dhruv,s neck from behind trying to knock the breath out of him but someone stabbed him from behind and his grip on Dhruv,s neck loosened and he fell back dead on the ground. Dhruv turned and looked ahead only to find Tara standing in front of him with fear written all over her face.

Tara,s point of view!!!

Tara turned after killing a soldier only to find another unfaithful soldier gripping Dhruv,s neck from behind trying to knock the breath out of him. Tara,s breath hitched. Fear occupied her heart.

Nahin hum Dhruv ko nahin kho sakte. Hum pita ji ko kho chuke hain ab apne Dhruv ko nahin khona chahate.

Tara thought as she rushed towards Dhruv with all her might and stabbed the unfaithful soldier with her sword on his back.

Tara looked at him with fear written all over her face. She extracted her hand towards him and Dhruv held onto it without wasting a second.

Tara,s point of view ends!!!

Aap theek hain /Tum theek ho?

They both asked to each other at the same time.

They both blinked their eyes nodding in positive

Tara!!!

Suddenly Dhruv pulled Tara closer to himself panicking. He enclosed his arm around her petite frame as he blocked Samrat Singh,s sword with his own.

Tara,s heartbeats stopped due to the sudden action. She was pulled against a familiar heartbeat. Her heart skipped a few beats as she heard his raced heartbeats right below her ear.

They pulled away and he pushed Samrat Singh back as Tara delt with another unfaithful soldier

After Dhruv, Tara, Sitara, and Mahaveer killed all the unfaithful soldiers.

Aap theek hain?

They both asked each other in unison. They both nodded in positive at each other.
Dhruv held Tara,s hand in his.

But Samrat Singh wasn't ready to accept defeat so he stood up and pointed his gun at Tara meanwhile Dhruv who was letting out his breath closing his eyes, opened them only to see Samrat Singh pointing his gun at Tara. Fear and panic surrounded his heart and Samrat fired the bullet

TARA!!!!

Dhruv screamed pushing her away with all his might. Tara stambled on her steps.

BHAI JI!!!!

Sitara shouted rushing towards Samrat Singh who was smiling victoriously.

He stabbed him with her sword and rushed towards Dhruv.

Tara looked at the scene in shock. She placed Dhruv,s head in her lap. Blood was oozing out from his body like water.

Dhr....uv ye...h k....ya kiya aa...pne

Tara,s voice shivered. Ocean of tears flowed down her cheeks.

Tumh....ari ko....i gal...ti na...hin h...ai

Dhruv,s voice broke as he spoke in between his uneven breaths.

RAJ VAID JI KO BULAO JALDI!!!!

Tara screamed with tears falling from her eyes comtinuesly.

Bh....ai ku....ch nah....in hoga aa....pko. Ma...in Ku...ch nah....in ho...ne doongi aapko.

Sitara said in a breaking voice.

KAKSH MEIN LE KER CHALO INHEIN!!!

Sitara shouted and Dhruv was immediately taken to the chamber.

Hum bhi vaid hain.

Sitara said hurriedly. She looked at Dhruv.

Ek hi rasta hai.

Sitara said.

Kya?

Tara asked with tears still rolling down her cheeks.

Shaley chikitsa... Aap sab bahar jaiye.

Sitara said.

Hu...m nah....in jayenge.

Tara cried. Her heart sank. She felt like she is loosing her breath.

Taru bahar chalo.

Mahaveer said holding her by her shoulders. Tara shook her head sideways crying.

Dhruv ke liye

Mahaveer said on the verge of crying.
Tara leaned onto Mahaveer feeling her knees weakening. Mahaveer held Tara and they walked out of the chamber.

Tara sat on the couch just outside Dhruv,s chamber. Her heart was surrounded by fear and pain. Her heart felt too heavy for her to carry. She was sitting like a corpse.

Tu hai subha sham ki tarah
Khushiyon ke paigaam ki tarah...

Tara.

She heard Dhruv,s voice. She looked besides herself with her heart filled with bitter sweet longing along with a familiar warmth. He smiled at her. Tears lingered on the corner of her eyes.

Kaise bhulaaye hum tujhe?
Tu yaad hai humein, humare naam ki tarah......

Woh theek ho jaiyenge Taru. Shant ho jaiye. Sambhaliye khud ko, Dhruv ke liye.

Mahaveer tired to console Tara pulling her closer to him, gathering her in his arms.

Kaise sambhalein khud ko Bhai ji. Hum nahin dekh sakte unko aise.

Tara said in a heavy voice trying to control her tears but her tears didn't stop instead came out more rapidly.

Dil saupa hai tere hathon...
Wapas kaise mang lein....???

After a long time which felt like decades. Sitara came out of the chamber uniting her operation mask.
Tears were rolling down her cheeks repidly.

Tara,s heartbeats stopped seeing her like this.

Chiki...tsak Dhruv

Mahaveer asked, his voice came out chocking as Tara wasn't in a position to speak.

Shaley chikitsa saphal hui.

Sitara said.

Parantu...

Sitara stopped not being able to find proper words.

Woh coma mein hai.

Sitara said. Mahaveer and Tara looked at her confused.

Matlab humne unke praan bacha liye hain prantu woh hosh mein nahin hain....

Sitara said, her voice heavy with remorse.

Tara stambled backwards but Mahaveer held her by her shoulders. She lost her voice.

Unhe...in ka...b ta...k hos....h aay....ega?

Tara asked as she found her voice though it came out as faint and shaking as it could be.

Aaj, kal, pa...rso, kuch din baad, varsh ba...ad ya kab...hi nahin.

Sitara menaged to chock out.

Tara felt her knees weakening. Her breath hitched. Her head spun. She couldn't breathe. She gasped and panted for breath but wasn't able to breathe. She felt caged, caged in a small box, never to be free. Her eyelashes felt heavy and she felt darkness coming from all the sides of her vision to consume her completely.

Jaan hazir hai tere liye...
Per jo tujhme basi hai,
Woh tujhse kaise mang lein.......?

Dhruv!!!

Tara mumbled his name before darkness consumed her completely

Taru!!!

Mahaveer called out worriedly tapping her cheek. He picked her up in his arms and took her to her chamber.

Tara,s chamber!!!

DHRUV!!!

Tara woke up shouting his name loudly.

Tara,s heart shattered soundlessly in her chest. She looked at Mahaveer with tears clouding her eyes again.

Bh....ai ji... Bh...ai ji. Dhr....u...v...Dh....ruv the...ek h...ai na? Un....hein Ku...ch hu....a to...h na...hin n...a? Wo....h ho...sh me...in to...h ha...in n...a?

Tara,s voice broke. She found it difficult to speak. Mahaveer closed his eyes. His heart clutched rather painfully seeing Dhruv and Tara,s state. They didn't deserve it at all.

Tara stopped. Her hands were shaking uncontrollably as if she understood what it meant.

Nah...in. hum...ein Dh...ruv k...e pa...as jan...a hai

Tara,s voice was shaky. She stood up hurriedly tumbling on her steps.

Tara rukiye.

Mahaveer said a little loudly as he ran behind Tara.

Tara reached outside Dhruv,s chamber. She gulped and stepped inside. She walked towards him with heavy steps. She chocked on her breath seeing him laying lifeless in front of her. Tara,s heart shattered soundlessly in her chest. She took another heavy step and reached out to touch his hand with her badly tumbling one but someone held her hand. Tara looked up and found Sitara holding her hand.

Humara hath chodiye Sitara.

Tara said.

Kyun aayi ho yahan? Yeh dekhne aayi ho ke bhai ji jeevit hain ya mritiyu ko prapt ho gaye...

Sitara said mockingly.

SITARA CHUP!!!

Tara shouted.

Himat kaise ki aapne aisa kehne ki?

Tara asked angrily.

Kyun na kahein? Chali jaiye yahan se. Humare bhai ji se door rahiye. Chali jaiye yahan se.

Sitara said angrily. She held Tara,s hands but Tara jerked her hands away.

Agar na jayein toh?

Tara asked looking into Sitara,s eyes.

Aapko jana hoga. Kyunke hum aapko Bhai ji ke nikat rehne ki anumati nahin dete.

Sitara said gritting her teeth.

Agar aapko lagta hai ke humare Dhruv ke paas rehne ke liye humein kisi ki anumati ki awashakta hai toh bhool jaiye. Kyunke humein humare Dhruv ke sath rehne ke liye kisi ki anumati ki awashakta nahin hai.

Tara said sternly.

Hum yehin rahenge, chahe jo ho jaye.

Tara said and sat besides Dhruv. She hesitantly reached out and caressed the back of his free hand with tumbling fingers.

Her heart clutched rather painfully in her chest seeing his state. Tears rolled down her cheeks retracing the path of the previously dried ones only moments ago.

Sh...a...ma ke...r dij....iye hum...ein Dhr...uv... Hu...m....are kar....an

Tara couldn't complete her sentence as she chocked on her breath and coughed.

She interlocked her fingers with his and rested her head upon it. Tears streamed down her cheeks repidly.

Dhr....uv ut...h jai....ye. Hu...m bhe...ek man....gt...e ha...in ut...h ja...iye

Tara pleaded, her voice cracked as she felt a lump raising in her throat.

Hu...m ai..se nah....in de...kh sak...te aa...pko.

Tara cried. His state prickled her already broken heart like sharp darts. Her eyes welled up with a fresh round of tears, seeing him in this state felt like death, it was way worst then death.

Her heart suddenly felt too shattered and heavy for her to carry. Her throat went dry and she lost her voice looking at his condition. She shut her eyes as tears clouded them once again. She held onto his thumb lightly. Her hand tumbled as she did so.

She clutched her heavy necklace resting against her chest wrapping her fingers around it tightly. Her heart shattered loudly in her ears once again and her eyes welled up with a fresh round of tears.

Hum aapko kabhi chodh ker nahin jayenge Dhruv. Vachan hai aapki Tara ka.

Tara promised, this time ready for everything that comes in her way.

She looked at Dhruv and caressed his black, soft hair. Her cold fingers caressed his hair tenderly as she watched him laying on the bed lifelessly. She felt her eyes heavy with tears and blinked her eyes allowing them to make their way down.

Her eyes scanned the whole chamber and his husky musky scant filled her nostrils. Her guilt for not trusting him, for hating him and her pain and longing for him was eating her up.
