Hearts shattered like a glass!!!

Kya main Tara se baat ker loon?

Dhruv asked looking at himself, his voice a mix of pain, depression and hope dressed up in a deep red sherwani and golden Salwar and his taaj that he wore over his head looking utterly handsome but his eyes missed the usual happiness and hope they held once.

Dhruv turned around taking a deep breath.

TARA I LOVE YOU!!!

Dhruv yelled with all his might. He gently held Tara,s waist from behind and lifted her up in the air. Her black silky long hair brushed his neck gently as he looked at her with all the love and trust he had for her shinning in his eyes while his arms were wrapped securely around her petite frame.

Tara giggled with happiness as he twirled her around while she had placed her hands on his shoulders. Her eyes shinning with all the love and trust she had for him.

The memory gradually faded away leaving behind Dhruv in a mix of confusion and depression while his heart was in a conflict.

Bahot prem kerte ho usse tum. Ek baar ja ker mil lo.

Dhruv,s heart said softly. Dhruv kept his hand over his heart only to feel it's raced beating against his palm that he had placed over his heart.

Shayad jana chahiye.

Dhruv said to himself. His heart still in a conflict. He again turned and looked in the mirror.

Kya soch rahe hain aap?

Anagha who had came there stood behind Dhruv and questioned.

She was dolled up in a dark green shimmery saree, a light weight necklace rested against her chest and small earrings adorned her ears.

She took a step towards him and held his upper arm. Together they looked in the mirror.

Dhruv chalein?

Anagha asked softly. They both started walking. Dhruv smiled at her.

Aap jaiye. Hum ek baar Rajkumari Tarapriya se baat ker ke aate hain.

Dhruv said. His heart stopped beating for a moment as a lump formed in his throat. His voice was a mix of depression, anxiety and longing. A different kind of restlessness surrounded his heart which he tried to hide.

Dhruv!!!!

Anagha called him out rather restlessly as she cupped his face in her palms. She felt her palms burning as his cheeks turned warm instantly.

Dhruv shant.

Anagha said softly. She placed her head on his chest. Dhruv felt a strange but comforting warmth filling his heart. He wrapped his arms around her petite frame. She smiled feeling his touch of acceptance on her back. Dhruv smiled still in the hug.
He breathed deeply.

Tears rolled down Tara,s eyes as she watched them hugging each other tightly. She had came to see Dhruv once before he leaves but instead saw them hugging each other tightly.

Dhruv!!!

Tara whispered rather brokenly. Her heart pained seeing them hugging each other. Her heart twisted rather painfully in her chest. Her legs wobbled and she stepped back. She hid behind a piller placing her hand on her heart.

Kya Dhruv aage badh gaye? Kya humne unhein kho diya?

Tara asked to herself holding onto the piller.

Nahin Dhruv...A...isa...

She couldn't find words. Her head spun and she walked towards her chamber with shaky steps

Back To Dhruv,s side!!!

They pulled away from the hug and Dhruv was calm now. He smiled at her and she smiled back.

Main aata hoon.

Dhruv said with a soft smile. Anagha nodded her head with a soft smile on her face. He left from there towards Tara,s chamber.

Hum soch rahe hain ke humare putra Rajkumar Dhruv ka vivah Rajkumari Anagha se kerwa dein.

Her mind started cooking theories and she imagined the scene where Maharaj Pratap Singh was saying this. She knows her Dhruv. She knows that he loves her to the moon and back and is just hurt because of her idiotic, pathetic behavior still she couldn't help but feel insecure. Her heart started beating loudly against her chest. She had seen him many times, laughing and joking around with Anagha but he always gave her cold, formal or the worst, emotionless responses

Hum aapse bahot prem kerte hain Anagha.

Tara,s heartbeats stopped as she saw him confessing his love to her. Her breath got stuck in her throat. Her blood ran cold and she took a step back.

Hum bhi.

Anagha replied softly. Dhruv kissed her forehead and pulled her in his arms.

Tara,s breath hitched again and she closed her eyes tightly. She fisted her hands so tight that her knuckles turned white.

She heard footsteps and let go of the breath she didn't knew that she was holding. Her heart raced as she knew that who it was. She turned and their eyes met.

Phir agar mujhe
Tu kabhi na mile
Humsafar mera
Tu bane na bane.

She felt a flicker of hope in her heart upon seeing slight tenderness in his deep brown eyes as he looked at her.

Faslon se mera
Pyaar ho ga na kam
Tu na ho ga kabhi ab juda...

Hmm!!!

Dhruv tried to speak but no words came out of his mouth. Tara looked at him still holding onto a fragile hope and an awkward silence enveloped them.

Dhruv didn't know from where to begin. He gulped visibly trying to find appropriate words to break the awkward silence while Tara waited, her patience with her patience slipping away bit by bit with her second.

Main tumse baat kerna chahata tha jane se pehle. Woh....

Dhruv tried to find words.

Kya soch rahi ho Rajkumari Tarapriya tumhara Dhruv ab tumhara nahin raha woh Rajkumari Anagha se prem kerne lag gaya hai.

Tara,s mind screamed at her as her insecurities overpowered her senses.

Aap donon... Aap aur An...agha ek dus....re ki bah...on mein....

Tara,s voice shivered. Her eyes teared up as she gathered the courage to utter those words.

K...ya? Ar...th ar...Art...hat

Dhruv menaged to chock out.

Dhruv dekhiye hum jante hain jo humne kiya woh galat tha per....

Kehna kya chahati ho TARA??

Dhruv asked sternly. His heartbeats stopped thinking about the worst possibilities. He prayed for them to not to be true.

Tara,s voice shivered as she uttered those words.

BASS!!!

Dhruv screamed at her raising his palm in front of her indicating her to stop. Tara jumped back a little hearing his scream. She looked at him and realized what she has just said out of her insecurities. She looked at him and her heart broke as she saw the hurt in his eyes.

Dhruv had came to talk to Tara, to make an attempt from himself to mend their relationship as Tara has done many but he always ignored it as he didn't wanted his heart to break again.

Dhruv had loved Tara more than anything in this world. He knew that she had lost her father that's why maybe she did all those things but he was hurt by her behavior as she didn't even listen to him let alone trust him. He had gathered a lot of courage before coming to her and to talk to her. But she broke his heart once again and this time brutally. Dhruv couldn't believe that she doubted him. He couldn't believe that she could think that he can love someone else despite knowing the fact that he loves her to the moon and back and is devoted to her. Dhruv,s heart clutched rather painfully in his chest as he looked at her.

His breathes turned heavy and he looked at her taking a step back stambling.

Dhruv hum ar....th

Bass!!!

Dhruv cut her off sternly. He looked at her coldly.

Na bhula saka main teri chahatein
Ishq pe kahan bass kisi ka chale

Main aapse baat kerke iss rishte ko ek aur avsar dene aaya tha... Per aapne toh...

Dhruv stopped and took a deep breath trying to compose himself.

Ho bhi jaye meri sansein chahe khatam
Kam na hogi kabhi yeh wafa...

Kher koi baat nahin. Hum ja rahe hain Rajkumari Tarapriya. Dehan rakhiyega.

Dhruv said emotionlessly and left from there wiping a lone tear that escaped his eyes leaving Tara heartbroken.

Tara whispered brokenly.

She screamed in pain feeling her heart shattering in her chest as she fell on her knees bursting into tears. Her heart shattered like a glass, just like Dhruv,s
