     { PAINFUL HEARTBEATS }

When Hyunjin got to school, the ambulance was already there and Jungkook was being pulled in. Everyone was crying but Jimin was the loudest

Hyunjin swallowed and looked around, his eyes met with Soobin and he immediately rushed to him

"What happened here?" He asked

"I don't know, but I guess Jungkook took a bullet for Jimin, that's what it looks like....."

"Sh*t" Hyunjin said and immediately ran off.

He was still running when he got a call and he stopped, he moved to somewhere silent when he saw the caller

"You bastard, how dare you!" Hyunjin shouted, breathing heavily with an angry look on his face

"I guess that dude like your crush, so unfortunate for him to die coz I'm still going to kill the target"

"Don't you f**King dare touch him dad, I swear I will kill you!" Hyunjin snapped

"Dad?" Soobin's voice came from behind and Hyunjin hanged up the call before turning

"Did you just said...dad?" Soobin asked again and Hyunjin breathe out

"I'm asking you a damn question!!" Soobin yelled and grabbed Hyunjin's collar

"what's going on?" Felix came closer

"His father is the mystic killer, I heard him talking on phone" Soobin said, still glaring at Hyunjin

"What?!" Felix's eyes widened

"Can you let go of me??" Hyunjin asked

"Explain what the f**k is going on!!" Soobin shouted angrily

"That's true! He's my dad!!" Hyunjin shouted and a heavy punch landed on his mouth from Soobin which made him fall

"You bastard, your father is a killer and you still have the gut to say that!!" Soobin punched him again, he started punching him angrily without stopping

"Soobin!" Felix grabbed him

"Let go of me!!!" Soobin yelled, striving out of Felix's grip

Hyunjin wipe his bloody nose and mouth before getting up

"Felix leave me alone,I feel like killing him seriously" Soobin said, glaring at Hyunjin

"We should at least hear him out" Felix said

"Hear him out?! Jimin would have died just few minutes ago!! Jungkook got shot in the damn head, you think he's ever going to survive that?!" Soobin yelled

"So.....it was your dad? Why is he after Jimin?" Felix asked

"He....he thought he's the one discouraging me about working for him" Hyunjin said and Felix was confused

Soobin's eyes widened

"Don't tell me....the.....mystic assassin....is you" He stammered and Hyunjin nodded

Felix and Soobin gasped in shock

"What did you just say?" Ji San joined them, his eyes wide open in total shock

"You heard him right, He's the f**king damn assassin" Soobin said and Ji San covered his mouth with his palm preventing himself from screaming

"Lord" he whispers, staring at Hyunjin who had a guilty face on.

<HOSPITAL>

Jungkook was rushed into the hospital with the stretcher, his face covered with blood and he's hardly recognized.

"Jungkook!!!! Please open your eyes please!" Jimin cried, running after them

"Please stay out, you can't come in" One of the nurses said as they pulled Jungkook into the ward.

"No!!!" Jimin screamed, almost running after them but Namjoon grabbed him and pulled him back

"Jungkook" Jin whispers, he was crying bitterly, staring at the ward Jungkook was taken into the ward.

Namjoon hugged Jimin

"He will be fine" He said

"I hope so, he saved my life Joonie, it's all my fault" Jimin cried in his arms

Namjoon kept hugging him until he became a little bit calm, he moved to Jin and also hugged him

"I'm never going to get over it if he doesn't survive this, I'm not" Jin cried

"He's definitely going to be fine, I trust him so please stop crying please" Namjoon said and Jin nodded.

Namjoon sighed, he was also trying his best not to break down, the fact that Jungkook's head was shot made him lose hope but he needed to be strong enough right now

"I'm going to call his mom" Namjoon said

Jin and Jimin nodded and hugged each other while Namjoon walked away from their sight.

They watched as the nurses and Doctors run in and out of Jungkook's ward, everything seems to be in a total devastated state.

"No please Jungkookie....stay with me" Jimin said in tears, walking closer to the ward window

Oxygen was already passed in his nose and he could see he was really fighting for his life

"You can't leave me.....I'm gonna die" He said, placing his hand on the window

"Please, stay away sir" One of the nurses said and turn on the blind

"No!!!!!" Jimin cried when he couldn't see anything again

He started knocking

"Mochi stop it" Namjoon dragged him away from there

"We can't just stay here and do nothing please,....I just...  "

"You are not the Doctor, let them do their job please, just trust him, He's a strong person" Namjoon said

"I want to believe that, but I can't" Jimin hugged him tightly

Jin was sitting on the floor, he wasn't even himself as he sat down

Minutes later, Mrs Jeon ran into the hospital, she met them

"Where's my son!! What happened to him!!!" Mrs Jeon shouted, with the look of things, she already cried coz her eyes are red

"Mom" Namjoon called

"Where's Jungkook" Mrs Jeon asked looking at Jimin who was also in tears

"Mom" Jimin cried and immediately hugged her

"He saved.....my life" He stuttered and Mrs Jeon broke into tears

"My son" She cried

"I'm sorry" Jimin whispers, tears rolling down his eyes

"He will be fine right? Tell me he will be fine" Mrs Jeon cried out

Jimin hugged her more tightly, both crying

The ward door opened and two nurses rushed out

"What happened to my son?" Mrs Jeon asked but the nurses ignored them, rushing off

"Oh no Jungkook" Mrs Jeon cried more loudly

Jimin also weeping silently

<SHINWA COLLEGE>

"So you mean....it's you.....you've been killing all those people" Ji San said unbelievably after Hyunjin told them his story

Hyunjin nodded and Soobin almost hit him

"Soobin wait!" Ji San stepped in front of Hyunjin and Soobin stepped back

"Seriously, are you defending a murderer right now?" Soobin asked

"I'm not supporting him, but you should know it's not his fault. He needs our help" Ji San said

"I'm not in the mood for help" Soobin said

Felix sighed

"What do we do now? We need to report your dad" Felix said

"Then he will also live the rest of his life in jail" Ji San said

"So what do you expect? Jungkook is there, we don't even know if he's gonna survive that gunshot" Soobin snapped

"We are going to report his dad and we should try our best to make sure Hyunjin isn't involved in this" Felix said

Ji San faced Hyunjin

"You talked about your mom right? Is she still with him?" He asked and Hyunjin nodded

"Fine, We can use her as our bait" Soobin muttered and they nodded

Ji San hugged Hyunjin

"It's gonna be okay, trust me stop crying" He muttered, patting his back

Hyunjin wrapped his arms around him

"Thank you" He muttered

"Can we go tonight?" Soobin asked getting their attention

"Yeah, I'm afraid He's gonna come for Hyunjin" Ji San said

"Are you insane? Are you going to take him home now or what?" Soobin groaned and Ji San sighed

"I'm just worried" he said

"I don't think he can hurt his own son, so let's go tomorrow morning. We should go see Jungkook first" Felix said

"Yeah right" Ji San said

<NEXT MORNING≈ HOSPITAL>

Everywhere was still so rough, the news about Jungkook being shot is all over already. Outside the hospital are number of fans screaming and crying to know the state Jungkook is while the security tried their best to stop them from going into the hospital.

Most of them are in tears since there's no news coming to them about his health.

Inside, Jimin's eyes was all red. Mrs Jeon wasn't herself anymore, since yesterday the doctors haven't said anything to them, neither are they allowed into the ward

Jin buried his face in Felix's chest, he just stopped crying too. Namjoon was also silent while Alex and Hoseok sat beside Jimin.

All of a sudden, One of the doctors came out and they all stood up immediately

"Please tell me what's going on with my son please!!" Mrs Jeon screamed

"I'm sorry but he will have to undergo a surgery" The doctor said and everyone gasped

"But, it's a 50/50 chance right now coz the bullet went straight into his skull" The Doctor added

"What exactly are you trying to say?" Mrs Jeon asked

"I'm saying, even if he survive the surgery, he might lose his sanity forever" The Doctor said and immediately Mrs Jeon fainted

"Mrs Jeon!!" Everyone shouted as she landed on the floor

"No!!!!" Jimin cried out and immediately his heart started racing so badly, but this one seems to hurt more than the usual ones, it was as if his heart was going to come out of his chest

Before he knew it, he was puking out blood from his mouth as he grabbed his chest

"Ahh!" He cried in pain

"Mochi!" Namjoon called and immediately grabbed him before he fell on the floor

His blood stained Namjoon's chest and he fell unconscious immediately.

"Jimin!!!" Everyone screamed
