Annabeth's POV

The romans settled in, and the usual fights broke out between the two different camps. While breaking up one of these, I heard the alarm sound, immediately everyone froze. The older kids grabbed whatever weapon they had handy and broke into two groups, one went to the hill to see what the threat was and the other took the kids, 10 and under, to cabins. We didn't want them to hurt themselves fighting when we could probably win without them. For most of them, this was there first year.

I ran up to the hill and saw a sight straight out of my nightmares. There looked to be thousands of monsters spread out with a few hundred demi-gods. My brain kicked in and started calculating, there weren't really thousands, just a thousand, and a few demigods, a couple hundred maybe.

The Chaos soldiers appeared and started cutting down the monsters. I noticed they tried to only know out the demigods instead of killing them like the monsters. The campers joined in, and as I fought I couldn't help noticing that the soldiers were faster than us. I almost got stabbed by a cyclops while watching them and moved just in time. I only got a small cut on my arm. I quickly turned him to dust, I thought about Tyson and felt guilty for a minute.

I shook my head and concentrated on the battle, but then I realized, there was no battle. The soldiers had destroyed the army in just a few minutes. Looking around I noticed that there were two boys on pegasus coming towards us. Both of them looked familiar, and I realized why when they landed in front of me and the two co-commanders of the soldiers. 

The first one was Aaron's twin. It wasn't hard to recognize him since he looked exactly like Aaron. The other kid however took my breath away. It was Percy.
