Nico's POV

The next day I was still thinking about that kiss. At first it had seemed like a good way to distract Hanna and get away, but now I can't stop thinking about her.

I was pulled out of my thoughts by someone screaming. Quickly, I ran up to the hill gripping my sword. I was suprised to see the roman army and two girls hugging, Hazel and Piper.

"Sorry," Piper blushed," I was excited, I didn't mean to scream."

The campers greeted the romans while Chiron talked to Reyna and Frank. After a few minutes he summoned the counselours to a meeting.

I took a seat between Thalia and Zoe. Possibly not the wisest choice considering how moody they had been the last couple of days. Reyna started the meeting.

"Chiron contacted us saying he believed that this camp would be hit before Camp Jupiter and requested our help," She explained.

"We appreciate the help. We need as much as we can get now," Thalia muttered the last part.

"Why? What has happened?" Frank asked.

"Our best soldier has joined Kronos," I said noticing Luke flinch at the name. I decided to add something to show them how much trouble we were in," He is the second most powerful being in the universe."

"He is a god?" one of the centurians asked.

"No, just a very powerful demigod. When you train with Chaos it is possible to become very powerful." Thalia explained.

"A demigod? Then who is his parent? Maybe that can help us defeat him or bring him back to our side." Annabeth suggested.

The soldiers and I exchanged a look. We knew who his dad was, but I don't think Percy would appreciate us telling people. We decided to keep it to ourselves.

"We do not know," Zoe said.

"How come I don't believe you?" Piper asked.

"Because if they leave we have no chance," Aaron spoke up from a corner," We need them, and we can't afford to start questioning them."

I was glad that Aaron stood up but didn't quite understand why. He claimed to be on our side, but only Rebekah truly believed him.

"Well why don't we let the romans set up camp. We shall meet again after lunch. Meeting adjourned," Chiron said relieving the tension in the air.

I decided to go to the beach and was suprised to see Reyna there. I would have thought she would be busy setting up camp. She turned around when she heard me approaching. Her eyes looked red from crying and I started to feel guilty for intruding on her privacy.

"Hello, who are you?" She managed a weak smile.

"I'm Ghost, co-commander of Chaos's army," I introduced myself.

"Well hello, I'm Reyna."

"Are you okay?" I asked hoping she wouldn't think me rude.

"Oh, yes. I was just remembering someone," She started and continued when I motioned for her to go on,' Today would have been her birthday. I haven't seen her in years. She left the camp and although I know she's strong I don't see how any demigod can survive for 12 years on their own."

12 years? I wondered if she was talking about Beka, one of the demigods in the 5th cohort. She was never claimed and had no refrences. Reyna and her got along great, and she was one of the few who didn't hate me. She disapeared only a few months after she arrived though, the same day Percy arrived actually.

I decided to tell Reyna who I was. We had become pretty good friends after the Giant war. I knew I could trust her," Reyna, are you talking about Beka?"

"Yes, how did you know?" She asked looking at me hand on her knife.

I decided I should tell her who I was before she skewered me so I took off my mask.

"Nico?" She whispered before gripping me in the tightest bear hug ever.

"Don't ever disapear on me again," she ordered. I smiled, it was good to see Reyna again.
