EXPOSED: JOSHLAR VS MILS

Tonight we're discussing the past, but we think it's high time you learned about it. We poke about the incident with Sofia's brother and how Marquilla broke her best friend's heart by blackmailing said friend's boyfriend, but we've never discussed Mils (Nils + Marquilla).

With a pair of bezzies and brothers to discuss, it's only fair if we pit one against the other. One relationship was kinda PR (shocker!) while the other was the real deal. One was based on loyalty while the other wasn't.

We could continue this pattern, but we'll spare you the unnecessary drag. Might as well crack on, right?

Our favorite Marquie stans might question why we're digging this out of the Skylar's exes archive when Joshlar is a mere memory. They're probably wondering why Mils is relevant too.

Currently, they're history to the public. Not us. Sometimes the past is necessary to sculpt the future. You can't trade your mistakes so they fade away, folks. That's why we're forced to study history in school; goodness knows we can't afford another world war!

Back in the Winsey days when our Vanilla Queens weren't so vicious, they dated Josh and Nils Bohous. Btw, this isn't a repeat of an earlier post. Our source discussed topics that require a voice to you because well, we spoke to the Nils Bohous. He's a lovely guy and just as beautiful in person as you can imagine.

What were we doing speaking to Nils? How in the world did we grab a hold of him? First, we're gathering info on the infamous Joshlar split for investigative purposes. Second, we have our sources and they graciously lent us his number.

Our first interview with Nils was brief, but we managed to reach him a second time for an hour long chat in the midst of his rehearsal schedule. He landed a role in Spring Awakening as Melchior and is currently prepping for next month. If only Marquilla was talented enough for Broadway...such a shame her acting is as atrocious as her singing.

Anyways, Nils spilled all the goss on Joshlar. He even exposed his own relationship with Marquilla! Boy really did bless us with that interview. We couldn't have asked for a better gift; he unraveled all of our burning thoughts and told us what we really wanted to hear.

Just like Marson, Mils began as a PR ploy to boost Marquilla's career. As we stated in the Marson Contract Post, she also played Nils. The only difference between Nils and Jason is awareness and their responses to Marquilla's game. Here's what we said.

"Marquilla and I both liked each other, which is why I agreed to do the PR. I read through it and didn't see anything that would harm my brothers or me—it was nothing compared to the one Jason signed. Yeah, I know they started the same way as us. I know Marquilla will do anything for her career, and dating the next biggest thing seemed logical."

Funny how Nils knew their relationship was fake from conception. He isn't pressed, but he wished things were...different.

"Marquilla and I got on really well. She's definitely changed since the day we met. When we were together, she was a nice person—a genuinely nice person with huge aspirations. Something switched during our relationship. I don't know what it is. 'Witches' became a hit and Marquilla's fan base grew, but she was still the same girl I liked...or so I thought."

Nils continues his memory by telling us about what lead to their first split, which was simply work, to their second chance. Unlike her relationship with Jason, it was Marquilla who wanted another shot with Nils after he split with Lae for the second and final time.

He claims she begged him for a second chance when Lae broke up with him. We beg to differ. According to our source who isn't Nils, Marquilla forced him Lae to split from Nils because she hated that Lae was more popular than her.

Marquilla, hon, it's not a popularity contest! You're supposed to do you and let everyone do themselves, not sabotage their personal lives!

Marquilla knew exactly what she was doing, as always, the second time around. Let's take a brief pause to discuss Joshlar now.

Joshlar began dating a little before Mils round two, which we're happy to confirm Marquilla had no say in. josh was Skylar's choice by her own means, not as a result of some stupid contract. And we wonder why Marquilla broke them up after they met...

"Josh and Skylar met as anyone in the industry normally do: at an event. I won't go into detail since you know how that went, but they hit it off from the very start. The chemistry was undeniable. They looked like a couple courting!

"They were pretty much inseparable when they weren't working at the same time, and I could tell she meant the world to Josh. When Skylar was around, it was 'Skylar Rose this' and 'Skylar Rose that' with him. He was so in love with her," Nils recounts.

Ah, there's the parallel with Jason! Josh was head over heels for his Vanilla Queen while his brother was um...oblivious to the shenanigans his was plotting. Nils thought Marquilla was faithful, but that girl ain't loyal at all. Poor Nils. He should have known she was trouble when she suggested a relationship.

Anyways, Nils noticed a difference in Marquilla on tour that completely bypassed him earlier. She never wanted to be around him much, and there were rumors regarding her promiscuity. Nils played the Jason card and chose to defy the rumors, thinking everyone was out to wind him up. Besides, he still received her cuddles and kisses; that totally means she was still into him. Pfft, yeah right!

You guys remember the little argument with Sofia Gigante's brother? You know, the one that nearly cost him the internship and showed Marquilla's true colors, therefore commencing her feud with Sofia?

Yeah, Nils totally regrets taking her side and accusing Fedez for trying to steal his girl when homeboy wanted her far, far away. Nils also can't believe how gullible he was for believing she really liked him. Well, she did, but she also wanted Fedez and Josh.

On the flipside, Joshlar was tight and there was no messing about, ogling at other people. Nils admitted he was jealous of them since he wasn't that close to Marquilla.

Can you blame him? He received the short end of the stick for foolishly giving her another chance.

Fun inside scoop from Nils, himself: he would NEVER have taken Marquilla back if he hadn't felt guilty. Just to clarify, he felt guilty about how rash they ended. He also still had feelings for her, the poor guy.

Why does this of Josh and Skylar? Oh, right...because that's exactly what's happening with them. By the way, Skylar, Nils KNOWS Marquilla is why Josh dumped you. Marquilla is also why Nils dumped Marquilla for good. Here's what he had to say regarding the connection.

"You know how Marquilla hit on Sofia's brother? That should have been my hint. I should have read the signs and questioned her about it. That was so stupid of me! And then the thing with Josh happened a—I can't BELIEVE I didn't see that coming! Sh-she spent more time around him than I liked, but I thought it was because of Skylar. God, I'm such an idiot!"

Poor Nils had no idea his girlfriend was so unfaithful. He tried to shower her with love and affection when she was around to make up for what happened in the past, especially since Reli cut their friendship, but it wasn't enough.

If this sounds even vaguely familiar, it's because this is how Marquilla is playing Jason. Need a friendly reminder? We'll include deets in our upcoming manipulation post, so make sure to keep your eyes peeled for that!

Marquilla then tried to seduce Josh because she's such a great friend and girlfriend. Friendly reminder Fedez warned Josh about Marquilla after she tried to make a move on him. And as you know, he found it completely preposterous Fedez would suggest such a thing.

Despite Nils' argument with Fedez, he grew suspicious after eavesdropping on the boys. He spoke to his girlfriend about her feelings, and she assured Nils that she only had eyes for him. Meanwhile, Josh's full focus was on Skylar's arrival after she phoned in to say she'd be dropping by. You know what happens next.

"Josh ran into the dressing room absolutely horrified. He gave me one look and I knew something serious happened. He pulled me aside and stared crying before he could even get a word out. Keith cam over and asked us what was wrong, then Josh asked us to take a seat. He detailed EVERYTHING and couldn't stop crying.

"There was something he said directly to me that convinced me he was telling the truth. 'How am I supposed to face Skylar when she comes? What do I do to make this right?'"

You see, Josh would NEVER fake concern for Skylar because he genuinely loved her. Nils knew that. He knew Josh wasn't acting because they're brothers. He's familiar with what makes Josh tick, and Skylar is the only person besides his brothers who he was protective over.

Some things are better left unsaid. I'm sorry but I think we should break up. I hope you can forgive me one day. - J

That's the text he sent Skylar when he dumped her. Nils told us he bawled when he wrote it, and his mood decreased to the point where he was nearly depressed. It took Josh weeks to come to terms with the split until Superior Vengeance was released. We'd be upset too.

As for Mils, Nils gave his former flame a proper scolding and ended their relationship once and for all. It was the first time he stood up to Marquilla, and Nils felt powerful for defending his brothers. Since his freedom, he's been happy and feels like he can really be his own person.

Just to recap, Mils was like a tamer version of Marson. Although there was a contract, Nils still had freedom and Marquilla didn't completely control him. As for Joshlar, you can compare them to any great couple who were torn apart due to people who didn't want them together. They were legit and cute. Nils was just plain messy.

According to Nils, Josh still likes Skylar and would love to rekindle their relationship. The only problem? The woman who blackmailed him into dumping her: Marquilla. Josh knows how tight they are and with his secret still at risk of being exposed by Marquilla, he knows it's impossible. Knowing Marquilla, she'll gladly destroy any remaining feelings Skylar might have for him to ensure her bestie doesn't abandon her.
