EXPOSED: VANILLA SQUAD VS. MODEL SQUAD

Your favorite bloggers are back to serve more tea. Today, it's all about the squads. That's right, folks! We're here to indulge you on Marquilla's two squads—Vanilla and Model even though Marquilla isn't a model—and how they factor into her ladder to success. We weren't lying when we said EVERYONE she meets plays some role in her real life movie.

Before we begin, we'd like to clarify an issue some pressed Marquilla stans had trouble digesting from our last post. We mean the entire post, but saying "an issue" to make them appear less insane. Now if you recall, we informed you about the Gigante-Goodrem-Reinhard dilemma and how that was meant to stir drama. Some hardcore Marson stans—we won't single you out because we're not that cruel—thought we were spilling lies when we definitely weren't. A certain Sofia Gigante, aka Fedez's sister and soon-to-be international mega star, expressed her concern on Twitter two hours prior to the post going live.

@SofiaGigante: Why attack my friends & family to knock others down? Please. If you have a problem with me, let's have a discussion. Don't drag innocents into something that only concerns us.

Sofia may not have called Marquilla out by name, but who else is attacking her brother and friends (which includes Jason)? Marquilla. We rest our case. If you want to argue further, our ask box is always open.

Now for the main event! We wrote about the Vanilla Squad in an earlier post detailing Marquilla's relationship with its members, but we never elaborated on the Model Squad because well...she barely had a relationship with them until now.

You know those Venn diagrams they have you create in school to compare two topics? Think of this post as a Venn diagram for these two squads, except we aren't drawing one out. Instead, we'll explain the comparisons and contrasts.

Hold onto your seats, kiddos! This might be a long one. We hope you have biscuits or some sort of snack, because this tea party is about to kick off!

Let's start with the most obvious difference, which is the queen(s) of each squad. Skylar and Marquilla are clearly in charge of the Vanilla Squad; there's no doubt about it. We always pit Marquilla as the Vanilla Squad ringleader when it's Skylar who really calls the shots. Why else would Marquilla be paranoid about drugs?

Skylar is a paranoid maniac when it concerns her career; the Vanilla Squad was created for her benefit, not Marquilla's. so it only makes sense that Skylar's the HBIC. she's the one who makes the rules and only she has the final say in membership approval. Marquilla can make suggestions and guide Skylar, but she really has no power as Skylar's right-hand and an inferior celebrity. If you can't impress Skylar, don't bother.

Skylar is the boss and poor Marquilla can't risk losing her second best ticket to maintaining relevancy. She can pretend she's Skylar's equal since she taught her the tricks of the trade, but Marquilla is definitely Skylar's inferior.

As for the Model Squad, there is no distinct leader. Ashlee Spencer, Audrey Reinhard, and Ceci Narcour are equals in every respect. Some can argue that Ashlee is head of the trio because she hails from a reality empire, others can say it's Ceci or Audrey for their own viable reasons. That's exactly why one model doesn't beat the others. Besides, true friends don't try to manipulate each other, nor do they turn their backs on each other in times of need.

Which transitions to our next point, which is membership. A membership is the price to every exclusive club—payment is key to remain in the club. Well, every club has a payment plan minus the Model Squad. They're friends and hot models; the name of their clique is given based on their occupation. The only prerequisite is that you have to be a model, and voilà! We're certain they'll welcome any of their colleagues...

Unlike the Vanilla Squad, which is highly exclusive. With Skylar as the ultimate Queen Bee, she has sole control over who's included. Yeah, Marquilla has no voice in their minons' membership status. According to our source, Skylar tends to invite "women who are either at the top of their respective careers, or women with growing celeb power."

Surprise, surprise! Skylar only associates with women who are beloved, respected, and fierce. Marquilla's the exception since she only holds 1/3 of those attributes, but they're scheming witches, so it's okay.

"Skylar chooses her minions wisely and has them sign a contract before they're allowed to join the squad. With Marquilla's help, Skylar weeds out girls who could potentially ruin their images by holding interviews with their teams and forcing them to take drugs tests. If you fail the test of someone's spotted you with drugs, you can't hang with Skylar.

"The thing is, EVERYONE wants to be seen with Skylar Rose because that exposure can boost people's careers. Since Skylar's a crazy image freak, getting the gig is tough. But if you're fortunate enough to pass her rigorous background check, you have to abide by her rules or you're out."

Yeah, the Vanilla Squad is crazy hard to get into while the Model Squad isn't (if you're a model). We told you Skylar could be a bigger control freak than Marquilla! We don't believe Marquilla realizes she created a monster. Oh wait, yes she does! Imagine what the industry would be like if she could control the Model Squad like this. Yikes!

Now the real questions is: how does anyone join Skylar's prestigious and highly "goals" Vanilla Squad? Does it require some sorority-type initiation stage? Is it hard to get into like an Ivy League college? We can exclusively tell you that it's a yes for both, which shouldn't be too shocking. We can also tell you that Skylar's a scarier sorority leader than anyone you'll ever meet if you ever think about rushing. She puts Chanel to shame!

First and foremost, you need to have power, influence, and fame to even be considered. Skylar would so not take anyone on the exposing team since nobody is in the industry. We're stressing this information just so you're aware that Skylar does NOT mess with peasants.

Second, you must oppose EVERYTHING Skylar hates—drugs, excessive alcohol, the whole lot. You can't expect to be in her good graces when you thrive off of the things she can't stand or find damaging. Skylar HATES unnecessary drama, and you best believe you'll receive an automatic NO if she discovers lies behind your so-called truths. There are severe consequences for lying to Skylar's team.

If you pass the two prerequisites and are deemed worthy enough for the short list, then you endure the initiation phase. There might not be frat parties to attend or alcohol to black you out, but Skyar's initiation process is simply grueling. All you have to do to make it into the Vanilla Sorority is break into an enemy's house, steal something, and trash it.

Sounds like something a group of dumb frat boys would do, right? Sounds like something beneath Skylar since, you know, she's America's Sweetheart and all. But it's not. And it's not just any enemy. She typically chooses a friend of the inductee for proof of loyalty.

Complete the mission, and you're in. Chicken out, then you're unfit to be part of Skylar's sorority. Loyalty lies where loyalty lies. If you can't completely pledge allegiance to Skylar, you're mutt.

What must you do once you've gained a coveted spot on the Vanilla Sorority? Simply kiss ass to your Queen S. Oh, and you should occasionally backstab your peers sans question or remorse. If someone does something stupid or comes for Skylar, you better be prepared to shit talk that person and shun them. Failure to abide by Skylar's rules holds grave ramifications for your career.

Have the Model Squad participated in anything so petty? No. They legitimately like and trust each other. The foundation of their squad is built on positivity, friendship, and feminism.

But so is the Vanilla Squad...or so Skylar would like you to believe. We spoke about that in a previous post, so you should read our friendship post if you want deets on that.

Our last major difference between team Model and Vanilla is their approach to enemies. As we alluded earlier, Skylar Rose doesn't take crap from anyone and she WILL start a war (and play the victim card) if you attack her. On the other hand, the Model Squad handle their enemies diplomatically with a truce.

Name any celebrity who's bad mouthed Skylar Rose. Now think about how the situation was handled. Now choose someone else and repeat. There is a 99% chance Skylar's "friends" backed her up and shaded the "attacker." It's also likely she pitted the media against the other person, making herself the innocent one. Girl is clearly stuck in high school, where vindictive behavior is the attitude.

You guys remember the drama between Skylar and Sofia's co-star Gloria Powers? We use that example since it nearly bombed Gloria's career. This epic throw down happened last summer, and it began when Gloria tweeted this:

@GloriaPowers: Not feelin the new @SkylarRose single. There are better songs to close the Wayferer era & she chose this?!?!!

Skylar voiced her two cents by replying:

@SkylarRose: @GloriaPowers I think I did the right thing. #1 in 40 countries isn't too bad for a song that "sucks" so much.

A few choice words back from Gloria, and the games began. Skylar discreetly told her fans to boycott Glory by using her minions. With their combined celebrity influence, ratings tanked the next week and a racy photo of the Nickelodeon star leaked online a few days later. Hmm...wonder how that happened in such a short time span.

Long story short, Glory suffered ratings until Jason announced that Sofia would be his opening act. That's nearly an entire year! Gloria isn't too happy with being in Sofia's shadow now, and she's been trying to rebuild her image since the incident. Lesson learned. You DO NOT mess with Skylar Rose and co.

The same approach is used for those who dare to use drugs while under Skylar's watchful eyes, which is odd considering Marquilla's "lupus" last year. You think she'd keep her distance longer than she did, but Skylar gave her a firm warning: no drugs means no drugs if she wants to stay vanilla. That's probably why there have been secrets and lies between them. Marquilla simply can't afford to lose Skylar even if her split from Jason sparked major buzz for Shooting Stars.

We're happy to inform you that the Model Squad absolutely refuses to stoop that low. You want proof? Try the PR contract Ceci and Ashlee signed with Marquilla. Thanks to mediator Audrey Reinhard, her besties and Marquilla have an amicable friendship, one that forbids Marquilla to carry on her blatant hatred for millennial models. They'd rather not cause drama because they know it's a waste of time and energy, and arguments usually lead to bad press.

What do the two squads have in common? For starters, there's Marquilla playing both to further her career. The PR friendship with Ashlee and Ceci is one thing, but betraying her "partner in crime" and deceiving her is another story.

How Marquilla manipulates the Model Squad is simple: you scratch my back, and I don't release career-ending information on you. We don't know the exact dirt Marquilla has on them, but our source says she can definitely end the whole trip because what she knows is that damaging. Their contract was initially drawn to benefit both parties. It still does, but Marquilla's fine print and knowledge suggests otherwise.

Anything the Model Squad says or does will be held against them, hence why Marquilla has the upper hand. Skylar might be head of the ultimate celeb sorority, but she's oblivious to Marquilla's influence.

Here's what Skylar fails to recognize: her friendship is her weakness. The girl trusts Marquilla so much that she merely gave M a stern warning after rehab. Skylar is attracted to Marquilla, which is why she's blind to the amount of power she's giving her. Sounds familiarly like Jason's scenario, doesn't it? Skylar is fully aware of her influence; she just doesn't know that her sorority squad thing has repercussions for herself.

Skylar, we know you're reading this. Marquilla is playing you for a fool and using your friendship like she did with Jason. Don't believe us? We'll write a separate post about how she's manipulated both of you into being her pawns. You might have the upper hand since you're wealthier, more beloved, and powerful than Marquilla, but you need to keep a close eye on that one. You know what she's capable of doing.

Now where were we? Right. Similarities between the squads. What if we told you Marquilla and Skylar aren't the only ones trying to portray a straight and narrow image? What if we add a PR stunt? Sound familiar? Yeah, that's classic tactics in the world of celebrity.

A little birdie informed us that Ashlee Spencer is also hiding her bisexuality. According to our source, the Model Squad had Marquilla over for a little hang at Ashlee's. You've probably seen the picture Marquilla posted on Instagram and Twitter—solid proof it happened. But what you don't know is Ashlee kissed Marquilla and liked it.

Our source spoke to Audrey about what went down. Here's what she said.

Audrey: Better than I expected cause Sima was there. As a joke Marquilla pulled Ashlee underwater and that pissed her out. Ashlee was livid, so she kissed Marquilla! I'm not kidding. It really happened. Marquilla and Sima left soon afterwards.

Our Source: Wait...is Ashlee bisexual and hiding it too?

Audrey: Ceci and I know she is but she doesn't want anyone else to know. She's gonna pull a Skylar and try to get a boyfriend to hide it.

Maybe Ashlee, Marquilla, and Skylar should discuss their PR relationships. Wait, never mind. Ceci and Ashlee have used cocaine before—typical choice for models—so Skylar wouldn't want anything to do with them if she finds out. If they want to boost their celebrity status by being part of Skylar's squad, they should drop the drugs.

What have we learned from all of this? The Model and Vanilla Squads have their differences closer. A look exposes their similarities. The Model Squad just isn't as salty as Skylar and Marquilla about protecting their images, although they can be divas from time to time.
