EXPOSED: MARQUILLA SHADES JASON & PLAYS VICTIM IN BREAKUP

Throwing Shade (v.): talking trash about a friend or acquaintance; to publicly denounce or disrespect someone.

We wanted to commence this post with Google's definition of the phrase because some of you are always salty about our terminology. Most of you are familiar with the verb "throwing shade," but there's no doubt someone will try to argue or find fault with this post's topic. We know how defensive our hardcore Marquilla stans are can be towards their queen. And let us tell you, there has definitely been some shade happening over the past few weeks.

If you've been following Marilla around—we neither stalk her, nor do we have a tracking device—then you know she's made her rounds to promote Shooting Stars and new single "Hearts Don't Go Together." Yes, the song is about Jason. No, she has yet to perform it because she's waiting for the AMAs to make the world premiere. Since "Come On Over" is a bop (yes, we're admitting it) and has commercial success, she's been singing that song.

Marquilla's been all around late and day time telly doing interviews to prove how "strong" she is after recovering from "lupus" and Jason dumped her. What a pretty little liar! This is all part of her plan to increase the media's hatred towards him. It's easy since everyone asks of him. How can she possibly avoid Jason when Marson is on everyone's mind? She's supposed to be promoting her music, not her relationship with her ex. Oh wait, she booked them to do both.

Marquilla has a natural gift for shifting any topic to Jason regardless of how unrelated it may be. His name was never uttered, but it might as well have been from the way Marquilla spoke. For example, James Corden asked her what she thought about her fans. Her response? We'll let you watch a clip from the interview right here.

JAMES: Now you have some dedicated fans, Marquilla. I understand you have a fan contest going on, right? The winners get to spend an entire day with you AND attend the bloody AMAs! How did that come about?

MARQUILLA: You know, James, Jason has A LOT of fans. Seeing him interact with them at shows and stuff made me realize how fortunate I am to be in this industry and share the same blessings. I just wanted to give back and thank them for their support. They're all I have. They're the ones who got me here.

JAMES: Since you already brought him up, how ARE things with Jason? Are they good between you two, or is it still too hard to listen to his songs?

MARQUILLA (shakes head and blushes): We don't talk anymore. It was rough.

Notice how Marquilla said the aren't on speaking terms at the moment and her body language when she said it. She leaned back and had a wicked smile on her face. It's like she's secretly happy they're not talking! Well, she does think he's a whiny brat. But she's supposed to be upset about it. Okay. That doesn't make sense.

There wasn't much shading in that interview, but it's a start. Marquilla was take for the most part. Some of her shade was subtle and can easily pass for a response. But there were moments when the shade was blatant.

In her interview on The Late Show, the host mentioned that he made Jason cry once. In that same interview, they discussed the good and bad about dating Jason (WHO DOES THAT?) and how difficult it was for Marquilla to cope with being in such a high-profile relationship. Yeah, she definitely succeeded in solely speaking about the album. What's a little dig at Jason, right? No biggie whatsoever.

We could go on and on with more interviews, but we don't want to bore you. We'll spare you her voice after just one more example. We promise this will be the last one! Anyways, let's get the ball rolling! We believe this is the biggest shade of the lot because Marquilla says things that we don't even comprehend!

Marquilla is currently in the UK. This morning, she had an interview on Radio 1's breakfast show. If you tuned in, then you probably know where we're heading. She actually discussed Shooting Stars and hinted about "Hearts Don't Go Together" since the DJ legitimately asked her about those topics. However, the song conveniently transitioned to the person she's famous for dating: Jason Flamel.

When asked about the arrest and Jason's outbursts and her thoughts on his behavior, Marquilla answered cunningly. Let's have a listen to that part of the interview, shall we?

DJ: So you and Jason Flamel have split up. Is this for good or do you think a third chance is possible? They do say third time's a charm. He's done some questionable stuff lately, hasn't he?

MARQUILLA: Jason's...a special guy in his own way. Since he became famous, people think he's an annoying teenager who only made it because of his looks. He CAN sing. People still see him like that, and it's true. Jason can be immature and it shows. Sometimes he can be temperamental and lash out if things don't go his way. He can be a diva at times.

DJ: So would you give him another chance if he like, really begged for it?

MARQUILLA: Nah. I'm done with boys. I need a real man now.

Here we have Marquilla blatantly calling Jason out for being "immature and temperamental." Honey, you're describing yourself! Did you also forget Jason is younger and A LOT more impressionable than you? Apparently so.

The conversation continues with Marquilla explaining how he apparently ended the relationship and how heartbroken he left her. According to Marquilla, Jason dumped her the day after Christmas. It's true if you switch the dumper and dumpee around. Girl is really taking a leaf out of Skylar's book, isn't she? But that's not all! She told said that HDGT is a song she wrote to help her deal.

Here's the problem: everything she said was a lie to victimize herself and tear Jason down for her own personal gain. Also, Marquilla didn't write that song. The receipts are proof.

The very last bit of shade we'd like to discuss is that video of Marquilla and her vanilla minions singing and dancing to Taylor Swift's "We Are Never Getting Back Together." Someone please enlighten us on how that ISN'T a major diss at Jason when the song Marquilla chose clearly points to him?

The girls might have planned a choreographed dance and posted it for fun, but let's be real here. All signs point to Jason. It's so obvious!

Too bad Marquilla's BFF Skylar wasn't there to join the fun. Her presence would have been the icing on top of the cake considering her long list of ex-lovers. But we're not here to badmouth Skylar, so we'll keep her out of this. She had no part in the dance.

Marquilla is shading Jason, and you can bet it won't end here! Her AMAs performance and that completely PR plan to bring her contest winners to the event will most likely keep it going. Where does this leave Jason and everyone else in her plan? You'll have to wait and find out. Our sources say she's not done with Sofia Gigante, and she's DESPERATE to take her down with Jason.

It's been about two and a half weeks since I updated this story, and I'm sorry. I believe we're at the halfway point of the book and I want to take time for you guys to really sink into the story, especially since I'm currently editing this and writing AFYCSO.
