Ruby is alone. No one left but herself. Her family hates her. Weiss tried to kill her with hired mercenaries that she escaped from. And now she's wandered outside the kingdoms.  Into a different land that not many venture into.

In that land a monarchy ruled. Known for brutality and its queen being a ruler with an iron fist. Though she died. The reputation still is mentioned. 

She walked along a road. Soon she was surrounded by men with guns.

Bandit: Give us all you're valuables little girl. And you're weapon.

Ruby in head: More idiots. They'll die like the last.

Ruby charged and killed two quickly. The rest opened fire but none could hit her. She was doing well. But more showed up. They seemed to be endless and she was getting winded. 

They surrounded her and were about to shoot again. But then some died out of nowhere.

Men arrived and shot at the bandits.

Officer: Kill them all men! Not a single bandit leaves here. Lord Y/n demands it!

A man in a more purple armor accompanied by a man in white and green armor approached Ruby.

Ruby: Who are you?

Y/n: I see your not from here. I am the one and only king Y/n of the kingdom of Zantha. This next to me is a sort of Envoy from the swabians named Lee.

Ruby: Thanks for the help I guess.

Y/n: You're in our borders. We don't take kindly to bandits.

Ruby: I guess I should be going now.

Y/n: Wait a minute. I got an offer for you. How about you come with us and be an imperial guest?

Ruby in head: He's too nice. No way is he this nice.

Ruby: I think I'm good.

Y/n: I insist.  Its the least I can do since you're visit wasn't so nice.

Ruby in head: I guess I can try, I haven't eaten in a day.

Ruby: Alright. 

Y/n: Alright.  Once we're done here we'll go to the palace.

In an hour they arrived at the imperial captial and walked into the imperial palace. 

Y/n: Where are my manners?  I didn't even get your name.

Ruby: Ruby, Ruby Rose.

Y/n: Well Ruby. We'll be having dinner soon. Please feel free to explore.  A guard will find you when dinner is ready.

When dinner came Ruby ate her food cautiously. Y/n took noticed and grew curious.   

The next day Y/n went and knocked on the guest room door. Ruby answered.

Ruby: Yes?

Y/n: I'm sorry if I'm interrupting anything.  I just wanted to ask you a question is all.

Ruby: That's fine.

Ruby backed up and let Y/n in who shut the door behind him. 

Y/n: Now if you don't want to answer its perfectly okay.  But I know you're no older than me. And I'm 16.

Ruby: And?

Y/n: Do you have any family that you can contact? Let know you're okay?

Ruby froze up for a minute. 

Ruby: My family. I don't even know if I really even have one.

Y/n: That's all you need to explain. I won't push any further.  I'll make you a deal. You can stay in the castle as long as you like. If you join my personal guard.

Ruby: What's the catch?

Y/n: No catch. Simple as that.

Ruby in head: Its too good to be true.  But If he is telling the truth I won't go hungry. 

Ruby: Alright. 

Y/n: Okay. Well I'll leave you be.

Y/n left and went to his office. Lee was there waiting for him.

Y/n: Any news from swabians?

Lee: No.  The Templars aren't making any moves. And the psychos aren't either.

Y/n: When my mother signed the treaty with Saiyan. It put my people into the war.

Lee: To be fair sir. Everyone is in this war.  But I know why you wanted Ruby to be a guest.

Y/n: Oh?

Lee: You know the silver eyed warrior tale. You want her so you have an easier time combating Grimm. General Saiyan already promised Salem wouldn't interfere. 

Y/n: That helps with war. But after?

Lee: I see your point.

Y/n: She has a history. As curious as I am. I know how it feels to have a dark past. I will not push.

Lee: On another note, the people are happy and production is up because of it.

Y/n: Good. We're slowly fixing this kingdom. My mother broke it so much.

Lee: You are not your mother  sir.

Y/n: I know. I'm what my father wanted me to be. 

Y/n looked at a family photo. In his mothers lap as a child while his father was standing right behind them smiling.  He picked it up and looked at it closely. 

Lee: I'll...leave you for a minute. 

Lee exited the office.

Y/n: I wish you guys were here to see me now.  I miss you both so much. It was bad enough losing one of you. Both was almost too much. But I'll keep on going.  For both of you.
