At the base everyone had just woken up and found the message Knock Out left but were confused since they were all at base.

"If we're all here who sent the distress signal?" Asked Arcee.

Then they noticed Starscream wasn't there and figured he was the one who sent the distress call. Since they none remember seeing him come back to base and it was still night.

Then they saw the seeker standing outside the base having a staring contest with the same horned owl Knock Out had seen earlier.

The seeker had just gotten back from flying a while ago. But explained that he hadn't seen Knock Out.

Now everyone was worried.

"We must find Knock Out for I fear he may be in grave danger." Said Optimus Prime. Guessing the red medic may have been lured into some kind of trap.

So they all went out to look for him to make sure he was OK.

Meanwhile Knock Out woke up and realized he couldn't move and felt chains on top of him. But he was having trouble just keeping his optics open.

And his audio receptors hurt and it felt like something was attached to them but his servos were strapped down by the chains.

He felt so weak and out of it and couldn't figure out why. He could see humans were there but couldn't get his vision to focus everything looked dark and fuzzy.

He was having trouble focusing on anything. Knock Out was scared he didn't know who these humans were or what they wanted with him.

He couldn't even focus enough to make out their faces. He didn't know why he felt so out of it. He couldn't even rise his helm up.

The humans were setting up some kind of equipment and Knock Out knew whatever it was for wouldn't be good.

"He's not gonna fight us is he?" Asked one Scientist.

"No the EMP should keep him under control. We have it set up so the EMP waves are being feed directly into his audio receptors." Another one explained.

"It'll keep him docile so we'll be free to work." He added.

"No...please..don't..do..this..." Knock Out tried to beg them but his voice was so weak it could barely be heard, kept cutting out and fell on deaf ears.

The next thing Knock Out knew he felt himself being drilled into and started letting out cries of pain. But was too weak to struggle or protest.

Then they started spraying different types of gas into his now open wounds trying to see what effect it would have on his circuits.

Poor Knock Out was now in agony and trying to beg them to stop. Then he felt a hose being put into his tank.

As soon as he felt whatever was in that hose enter his system his optics rolled shut as he went limp. But was still conscious enough to feel what they were doing to him.

Poor Knock Out just knew they were going to kill him at this rate. He couldn't move to try to stop them. He couldn't even open his optics now.

Then he heard a familiar voice that sounded angry.

"WHAT ARE YOU DOING!!!" The voice yelled not sounding at all happy.

"Following orders." Replied one of the Scientist.

"Who's orders I wasn't told about this." Said the voice that Knock Out now recognized as Agent Fowler's.

"General Brice's." One of the soldiers replied.

"He didn't say anything about this to me!" Agent Fowler replied not sounding at all please. "Stop this your killing Knock Out!"

"We were ordered to find out any weakness the cybertronians might have." Another one of the men replied. "And we were given the OK because since this one used to be a Decepticon it's expendable."

"First of all Knock Out is a he not and it!" Agent Fowler practically growled at them. "And second the Autobots are our friends and they saved this planet multiple times and this is how your repaying them!"

Then Agent Fowler went over and started to shut down the EMP. Only to have the soldiers aim their guns at him.

"If you go against order we'll have to arrest you." Said one of the soldiers.

Just then the wall was blasted and the Autobots came through having followed Knock Out's signal after his energon had been spilled.

The soldiers suddenly started shooting at the Autobots who were defending themselves but at the same time being careful not to harm any of the humans.

While Ratchet and Starscream went to free Knock Out. Starscream got the chains off him and got the hose out and Ratchet got the wires out of his audio receptors.

But Knock Out suddenly started lashing out. And Ratchet could see that his optics weren't focused and could tell that the red spots car was in shock and didn't know what he was doing.

Starscream ran over and did his best to restrain Knock Out with out adding to his injuries. While Ratchet used a circuit booster to sedate him.

And they both noticed how bad his injuries were and neither of them blamed him for lashing out after what the poor mech had just been through. They still didn't understand why Unit E had done this to him.

Bumblebee called Fixit and had him open a ground bridge to the scrapyard and Ratchet and Starscream didn't wast anytime rushing Knock Out through it and to the medbay so Ratchet could treat him.

Then the others went through the ground bridge but dropped Agent Fowler off in the hospital where Jack's Mom worked bridging him into a broom closet so he could get June to remove his microchip to keep Unit E from finding them when he joined them at the scrapyard where Jack, Miko and Raff were already waiting with Denny and Russel as well as the Autobots.

Later Ratchet came out of the medbay where he was working on Knock Out.

"How is he?" Asked Starscream who was worried for his friend.

"He lost a lot of energon and whatever they sprayed into his wounds did massive damage to his circuits. And the stuff they gave him in that hose was liquid nitrogen and it made his core temperature drop to a dangerous level." Ratchet explained.

"And that EMP didn't help either." Ratchet added. "What were they thinking why did they do this to him?"

"I do not know. But it seems the human government has turned on us." Optimus said to them.

"Even if Knock Out survives he may never be the same again!" Ratchet told him. And they could all tell the medic was upset.

Then Starscream went back to see Knock Out who was still unconscious and currently in a stasis pod to help him heal but they still didn't know if he would make it.

Starscream hated seeing his best friend this damaged his frame was cover in dents and had holes in it. The Austin Martin would be freaking out if he was conscious right now as picky as he was about his paint job.

He couldn't believe United E had turned on the Autobots like this. They had all been betrayed and didn't even know why.
