Third Person P.O.V.

Salem was wrapping her hands up as she got ready for an interview with Corey Graves.

She looked up and smiled as she saw Paige and AJ there. They had just finished a match against the Bella Twins.

"Good job, girls." she said as she finished up and hugged them, which they responded.

"Be safe out there." Paige told her.

"Please. We mean it." AJ said.

Salem knew how much all three meant to each other. They were her only friends from the divas division and they were more than just that. They were practically her sisters. They were friends since the two girls came to WWE starting from FCW.

Salem had taken them under her wing and guidance and that's what brought them closer.

"I will." Salem replied as she grabbed her Divas title. "See you two later."

She waved bye to them before walking off while clasping on her title around her waist.

Salem looked and smiled as she saw Roman there.

"Need me to back you up, babygirl?" he asked. She shook her head.

"You have a huge match coming up against Big Show. I don't want to put pressure on you. Plus, I can take on anybody." she explained.

"Are you sure?" he asked.

Salem nodded her head.

"Okay, babygirl. Be safe." Roman told her as he pulled her into a hug.

They pulled away and went their separate ways as she made her way to gorilla.

The cameras changed areas and it showed Corey Graves in the ring with two chairs.

"Ladies and Gentlemen, please welcome my guest at this time, the Angel Of Darkness, the Divas Champion, Salem." he said.

The lights went out as the bell gong sounded. The lights flashed blue and purple before the fire pyros went up and the arena lights turned red.

The crowd erupted into cheers as Salem walked out through the fog. She unclasped her title and rose it up before walking down the ramp.

She got in the ring and shook hands with Corey as she got a microphone, sitting down on one of the chairs.

"Hello, Salem. How are you?" he greeted.

"I'm great, Corey, thanks for asking." she replied.

"First of all, I have to ask. How does it feel to be the first ever 9x Divas Champion in WWE history?" he asked.

"You deserve it!"

"It feels great. I never thought it would ever happen. Like I've said before, I didn't come to WWE just because of my brothers. Everybody knows I made my own path here." she explained.

Salem had been an amazing champion. Every week, she defended the title night in and night out. She faced Brie, Nikki, Alicia, Natalya, Naomi, Summer, Layla, Eva, Tamina, and just about every other diva.

Everybody knew she was keeping her promise of being a fighting champion.

"Awesome. Now, how is it like dating Dean Ambrose?" he asked.

The crowd erupted into massive cheering and wolf whistles as Salem smirked.

"It feels freaking phenomenal. He treats me a whole lot better than Seth Rollins ever did." she explained.

"That's great. Now, everybody's wondering how come you got angry when Kane was put in that match last week, but are angry for what he did?" Corey asked.

Salem shook her head as she began speaking.

"You know what they always say, you can have problems with your family, but when somebody else causes problems for them, you go to their defense?" she asked.

Corey nodded his head in agreement.

"I feel like only Undertaker or myself can mess with Kane, but if somebody else wanted to pick a fight, we're there for each other." she said.

Just then, Randy's theme began playing and she rushed Corey out of the ring as she waited for him to come out.

Renee: "Hey!"

Michael: "Come on! This is uncalled for!"

Salem fell to the mat as Randy attacked her from behind with a steel chair. He struck repeatedly as she tried to block them out and fight back, but her body decided against her.

Randy grabbed her hair and made her look at him. She cried out in pain.

Suddenly, the crowd erupted into a mixed reaction and soon, Randy was thrown off of her.

Michael: Wait. what is he doing here?!

Renee: Saving Salem is what it looks like!

Salem heard chair shots being thrown and she could tell there were blows being exchanged.

He picked her up and slammed her left side onto the chair. She screamed in pain as she held her side.

He picked her up and did an RKO, smirking at the crowd booing him.

She looked and what she saw made her confused, but at the same time, relieved.

Seth was unloading on Randy and just beating the hell out of him.

Seth sent Randy to the ropes before nailing him with a kick to the face. He then ran and hit the Curbstomp before rolling Randy out of the ring.

Seth looked at Salem and went over to her, kneeling down.

"Danielle, are you okay? Can you hear me? Baby, can you hear me?" he asked, taking her face in his hands.

She nodded before he helped her sit up. She winced as she held her back.

"Get out here and help her, dammit!" Seth yelled, clearly losing his mind.

She winced as she lifted her arm and touched his shoulder.

"Colby, calm down." she told him.

He looked at her as he shook his head. "This is all my fault."

He slowly got up and rolled her out of the ring as referees came in.

Seth grabbed her and picked her up bridal style, making the crowd cheer. The referees followed after them as they went backstage.

"Seth, your briefcase is still out there." one of them said.

"I don't give a damn about that briefcase, especially now." he barked back.

He and Salem ended up in the trainer's room.

He stayed as the doctor washed her face paint off and examined her.

"She has some moderate bruising on her ribs, but it's not severe. I'm surprised they aren't broken, considering that was a vicious bodyslam. There's no signs of concussion, but she'll have to be out for three weeks." the doctor explained.

"What about the championship?" she asked.

"All I can say is that you can show up to work, but don't get physical. No heavy lifting and no sports activities until you're cleared. Clearly, Vince has a soft spot, so I'm sure he'll do something about the title. For now, jist go home and recover." he told her as he gave her a bottle of pills.

"Take one twice a day daily at morning and night. Ice your ribs every couple of hours and then you should be good to go." the doctor explained.

She nodded as the doctor left both of them there.

"Colby, before you say anything, I just-" she started, but got cut off.

"You don't have to thank me. I know I can't change what I did, but I understand. This is all my fault. I did this to you. I'm such an idiot." Colby said as he buried his face in his hands.

"It wasn't your fault." Danielle replied.

"Not my fault? Dani, you've been targeted by The Authority. They're having me do dirty work that I honestly don't want to do. I cheated on you when I didn't mean to. How is it not my fault? I tried to tell you that she drugged me, but I knew you wouldn't want to talk to me." he told her.

"Wait, what?" she asked.

"I kept telling you Summer and Eva drugged me when we were at the club that one night. They dragged me to the room. Summer and I had sex without me even knowing. I didn't find out 'till the next day." he explained.

Danielle felt like absolutely shit right now.

"But, for some reason, Hunter and Stephanie learned about it and decided to pair us. I'll admit, I did have a fling with her, but overtime, I managed to grow some balls and dump her sorry ass." Colby continued.

Danielle didn't have any words to say to him.

"I'm not saying this will get us back together or patch things up, but I just wanted you to know." Colby said as he got up.

He pressed a kiss to her head before turning his back to her.

"Goodbye, Danielle." he whispered in a raspy voice.

She looked as he walked out of the trainer's room and tears welled up in her eyes.

"What have I done?"

Danielle began to sob her heart out as feelings of regret came pouring into her.

"Oh, honey."

She looked and saw Paige and AJ there with sorrow looks on their faces.

They hugged her and she cried into her friends' shoulders as she realized that Colby had been trying to reach out and explain for months, but her own pride got the best of her.

"Shh, Pumpkin. We got you." AJ soothed her.

"It's my fault. I did this." she cried.
