XXII: Mysteries Of The Twilight Vale

TWENTY-TWO.

MYSTERIES OF THE TWILIGHT VALE

AT THIS POINT, Henry could see the holograms and strings that were connected. Doesn't it appear that the Fates are far more powerful than his previous Fate?

He had no idea how powerful Fate had gotten. And he needs clues to explore. While his friend in the First Domain is involved with his case, he has plenty of time for investigating this, doesn't he?

He tightly gripped the golden papers, making sure Hades wouldn't see anything. He can't fail. He must discover the mysteries of Twilight Vale.

So he grumbled and bowed his head, "Thanks, Dad."

He wasn't sure if Hades was simply smart enough to get some answers from him or if he intended to use him against the scientist for real. The scientist was certainly responsible for his death in his past life.

So just picture the war that is going to happen this time. And a part of him does not want to put up with this nonsense.

Ngunit kung 'di siya nanaginip, matatagpuan niya ang kanyang sarili sa mundong nilikha ni Chaos.

Ito ay tinatawag na Twilight Vale. Walang araw o buwan na makikita rito.

All you could see was the sky combined with the shades of the universe, and shadows were spread in different shapes, sometimes reaching out and sometimes disappearing completely.

Henry gulped before looking at him, "Sa'n ako pupunta? Am I going to prison?" He asked anxiously.

He couldn't read him. But he simply can't fail this. That's why, if he had to come up with a plan for convincing Hades to end the war, he must give it his all.

"You'll see when you get in there. Anyway, I've prepared certain outfits for you."

"Hold on. In any case, which prison am I going to?"

"Accursed Bastille,"

You know, it was written in a number of books once. It symbolizes the gods, heroes, and rituals of the ancient Greeks and Classical antiquity.

They tell about a group of legends about gods and goddesses, heroes and monsters, warriors and fools, that were an important part of everyday life in the ancient world.

While many of these are fanciful tales, such as the legends of greedy King Midas or heroic Hercules, other stories like the Trojan War epic have a basis in historical fact. They said that there are pantheon of gods and goddesses who were said to live on Mount Olympus, the highest mountain in Greece.

From their lofty perch, they ruled every aspect of human life. Olympian deities looked like men and women (though they could change themselves into animals and other things) and were — as many myths recounted — vulnerable to human foibles and passions.

But who knows? They didn't say who they are yet. And the stories of the gods, heroes, and legends will reveal more in this new age of magic here in the realm known as Twilight Vale, where there are stories of scientists and divine beings.

But this isn't just any story; it's about Demigods and Teras trying to stop the scientific armies in order to defeat the evil that lurks in their realm.

As soon as he step his foot in the prison, naramdaman niya ang tunog ng baril na tumutok sa kanya. The policemen have a malicious look on their faces. As if they weren't facing Hades' son. Wala silang kamalay-malay na ang kinakalaban nila ay nasa panganib.

"Now, now." The man grinned. "You can't escape me."

"You sure with that buddy?"

"Ha? Of course! Don't you dare respond to me because you're a damn traitor. And you fucking Rusvillean, you know that it's almost curfew. Ang lakas ng loob mo na tumakas sa oras na 'to—"

"Are you serious about labeling me as an enemy?"

"Ha!? Kami pa talaga tinakot mo?"

"Yes, indeed. I had the same hatred as you."

The policemen suddenly take a step back. They were unaware that this man was. And among the inmates they encountered, this man is acting cheekily, isn't he? He also flashed that evil smile. What's even stranger are the shadows that envelop him. They could sense the power of the magic he possessed.

He's not the kind of man na papayag na lang utusan ng sinuman. He poses a threat. Indeed. The sight of the unfamiliar prisoner in front of them caused them to suddenly take even a step back and become more terrified.

"Dapat kasi inaalam niyo kalaban niyo." Angas naman niyang sinabi.

But the next time won't come. Furthermore, he had no desire to engage in combat with these individuals. because he was certain that he would win.

"Take me to the prison," he said, before putting both of his hands together and facing them. "Right now."

"You can't."

Suddenly Henry felt a warm magic surround the Accursed Bastille. And suddenly flowers started to bloom. There's a beautiful woman with wavy golden hair, green emerald eyes and a heart shaped face, with a curvy figure.

She went closer to him and whispers silently, "I'm going to take you out from this prison."

"Ha!? You can't be serious!"

Why the heck is Persephone here? This isn't what he expected.

Her golden aura instantly wrapped her, so she moved her hands and used the ability she had. She can create, shape and manipulate fertility, the natural capability for living beings to reproduce (in terms of animals) or grow (in terms of plants).

She can also make land, living beings or plants fertile, allowing them to reproduce or grow, or make things infertile, making them unable to reproduce or grow.

WHILE THE PRISON was surrounded by forests, she grabbed Henry's hand and begged, "Let us leave! You can't just stay here."

Henry didn't have time to ask questions, so he gritted his teeth. Persephone once again saved him. His eyes widened in amazement, and he felt her warmth once more, leaving him breathless.

Persephone quickly grabbed Henry, and they both ran away. This prison is located on the island and poses an important threat to human beings. Because once you arrive here, there's no ship waiting for you.

The prison was built with black stones, and the high pillars rise in the sky but never brighten. And shadows surround the prisoners, keeping them inside.

To escape, you had no choice but to push your way in. That is, if you can escape the Harpies.

"After him! Don't let him escape!"

The officers snatched their swords, pointed at him, and hissed at him. Even if the Goddess were on his side and appeared to be in his favor, they could never allow a dangerous man like him to leave. 'Di nila maari na patakasin 'to.

Now that a mere Rusvillean is attempting to escape, they can't let the King down; they have just managed to catch these traitors. These Rusvilleans have attempted to murder everyone in the past, and their safety is now assured since they are imprisoned.

Therefore, they don't care who they oppose at this time, but they will try to kill anyone who does. Even if he's a Demigod, that is.

Since the taps on his chains are rather interfering, he draws a lot of attention while attempting to escape. Henry kept running straight ahead, his face appearing composed. He made the decision to enter after hearing the Furies growl in the distance. He's no longer concerned at this point. This isn't the first time it's happened.

"Where are you, Rusvillean?"

Henry hissed and turned slowly away, saying, "They're a pain in the ass."

He heard the chains cracking loudly. Over this straight ahead, the prison was rumbling. Although there are other people here besides members of the House of Rusvil, he wasn't entirely certain if he could find enemies here.

Greek gods, monsters, mythical creatures, and titans are all housed here. Henry made the decision to follow the roar until he came across the Harpies.

"What's with those women? They have the form of a bird and a human face..."

He sensed the golden aura behind him just as he was ready to approach them. Persephone was staring at him with a disappointed expression.

With a slow sigh, she covered her face with her hands. "And why are you here where the Harpies are being imprisoned?" she asked him, her eyes fixed on him.

However, his attention is focused on the Harpies. He'd heard this a lot on Imetheos. The book indicates that
Zeus had given the gift of prophecy to King Phineus of Thrace, who used it to uncover the secret plan of the god.

Angry, Zeus blinded him and put him on an island, where there was a lot of food; however, Phineus could not eat anything, because the Harpies would steal his food before he could eat it.

The were winged female monsters, said to be descended from the sea god Thaumas and the Oceanid Electra

They represented storms and storm winds that were powerful enough to snatch people from the earth. Early sources spoke of two Harpies, while later texts often added a third.

The Harpies were best known for tormenting King Phineus of Thrace; they continuously stole or contaminated his food until they were finally chased away by the heroes Calais and Zetes (also known as the Boreads).

In some traditions, Calais and Zetes slew the Harpies, while in others they merely pursued the monsters to a remote island west of Greece.

There appears to be a reason why the Harpies are being detained in the Accursed Bastille. Since they were the guards here, nobody is able to get out. Henry inhaled deeply as he gazed at them.

He felt as though his entire body shivered when he looked at these monsters. Ano bang totoong iniisip ni Hades at bakit siya talagang ipinadala dito? Talaga bang makikita niya ang Archduchess dito?

"What's going on, Goddess Persephone? Why are the Harpies here?"

Ang totoong misteryo sa Twilight Vale ay nagsisimula sa puntong 'to. Naglakad siya papunta kay Henry and her golden aura draws a lot of attention. He preferred not to look at her aura because it was too bright.

"They were taken prisoner by the scientist and used as guards to punish all of the inmates. Come with me and stop asking questions. I need to get you to your proper place.

"And that's?"

Henry crossed his arms slowly because he needed to know what was happening. Para malaman niya kung ano ang nangyayari sa ibang mga Rusvillean dito, gusto niyang takasan ang Fate na nakasulat sa Book of Fates.

Of course, with the House of Mudned officers pursuing him, he won't receive some answers. He must therefore push his way inside to learn the truth. It's definitely a lot of work. He isn't complaining, though.

He will thus keep an eye on everything they do in this room. However, for the time being, he must deal with the police officers who are after him.
