SEVENTEEN.

THE INCIDENT AT THE SOLIS' RESIDENCE (PART TWO)

HE'D OFTEN CATCH her glancing at him. Those stares suggest she's about to tell him something. What is it? If she had to say something, she should spit it out. She is the least of the people with whom he cannot deal honestly.

She acts nice but turns out she's just an actual snake. He gave her his dark glares and hissed at her.

"Have you always been quietly living among humans?"

"As if 'di mo rin  'yan gawain! When you're technically Hades' son, h'wag nga tayo magsisihan dito."

"Sino ka ba talaga, ha!?"Sigaw ni Saku sa kanya.

"Makikita mo."

Before he could set fire to the palms of his hands, he managed to calm his emotions before his powers became out of control. He needs to know what she is. Badly.

She moved closer to him and quickly said to him, "Sa tingin mo ba talaga matatakasan mo ang lahat ng nakasulat sa Fate mo?"

His eyes are on fire, and there are numerous little fires surrounding his body, showing that she was able to test his limits. He considers how nasty she may be. 'But don't worry, willing naman akong kumalma sa mga katangahang sinasabi niya kahit ngayong gabi lang.' Because tomorrow will be another chapter.

"Enlighten me, then." Saku's voice darkened even more, and he took a gulp of wine. "Have you always been playing with someone as you pleased? It feels like because I'm Hades' only son. What exactly are your plans?"

The other visitors now appear to be in their own world. They are talking happily with each other. Aside from one person. Andri. This guy scowled at him, clutching his fork, and he was clearly disgusted by his existence.

"H'wag ka nang umarte na parang ang bait-bait mo because I will not buy any of it. After everything you've done to me at kung ano-anong tsismis ang nilabas mo sa' kin. Enough! H'wag mo'ko plastikin."

She grinned as she approached him slowly. As he stared at her, the rage inside of him continued to rise. He simply hated her.
He had long pondered what kind of expression he would make because it was the day of judgment.

But based on Mara's expression just now, she appeared to be expecting this. Her smile changed into a disturbing smile. She was never fair, wasn't she?

"Masyado ka nang nagiging matapang, alam mo 'yon? Swerte ka na rin because you become one of their substances, and they only killing you to reincarnate. Sa tingin mo, ano ba talaga ang nakikita mo ngayon sa' kin?"

Saku clenched his jaw and gritted his teeth. 'Di na niya dapat 'to lituhin pa. Parang may alam siya. May kinalaman ba 'to sa mga scientist? She was clearly trying his patience. This deceitful woman.

"Ano'ng gusto mong sabihin!?"

He simply kicked the table near them and stared at her.

"You'll know the answers soon enough." Mara's lips form a frown. She's really loving what she sees. The grins she's giving him right now were enough to make him detest it so much. "Everything is going to fall into place. As you always wanted..."

Saku sets his hands on the table and grasps the knife. His brow furrowed, and he was filled with wrath strong enough to stab her. Without hesitation, he focuses his glares and thrusts the knife at her.

Mara started bleeding and grasped her neck, causing the room to fill with screaming. It was terrible. Blood is leaking from her neck. Saku's face was covered in blood, which was slowly wiped away.

"Pasensya na, wala akong kontrol 'pag dating sa mga scientist. And if you help them, I'll murder you."

Saku looked down at her, and she suddenly placed her palm on the floor, causing it to corrupt. She can manipulate the powers of corruption to take a variety of effects on themselves or others.

Saku moved his gaze, and he felt his hands tremble. This must be his bloodlust. In addition, he could be angry at the scientist.

"The party's over! Umalis ka na rito, halimaw ka. No, you killer!"Lyrica shouted and embraced herself. She had never been so terrified before.

"Sa tingin mo gano'n mo na lang ako mapipigilan?"Tanong ni Mara, and her brilliant golden eyes fixed on him.

Sa totoo lang, nagulat siya sa mga pangyayari. 'Di siya magsisinungaling kung sasabihin niyang hindi siya natatakot. Kaya kailangan niyang mag-ingat. Higit sa lahat, dapat siyang maging tagumpay sa kanyang mission. The reason they're all here is because of the show she might put on later on. Mara bit her lip, still feeling the fear that Saku put in her. He's dangerous.

Everyone was unable to think clearly because the attack happened so quickly. Now you could see the huge hall was covered in webs, mist began to fill the air, and a haunting music started filling the entire space. The lights would start flickering, making it even more ominous than before.

"Let's get out of here!"Sigaw ni Anubis at niyugyog na lang niya si Saku.

Mara grabbed her skirt at 'tsaka siya tumuntong sa stage. She offered them a huge smile at nagsalita siya sa microphone, "Now, let's play with my little human toys!"

'So she thought that was a game? 'Now she acts like the Masked Man.' These were the thoughts that crossed his mind. He couldn't handle something like this.

"Right, you all must become substances and die for the scientist! As if you had a choice either."

Everybody was covered in blood. Mara used her poison magic to push all of the poison here. You called this Poison Magic.

She can create, shape and manipulate poisons and poisonous substances. For the sake of clarity: poison, toxin, and venom are terms for any substance that injures or destroys the health of living beings when absorbed into the system:

POISON IS THE GENERAL WORD,  toxin is a poison produced by an organism (plant, fungus, animal); it is especially used in medicine in reference to disease-causing bacterial secretions, venom is especially used of the poisons secreted by certain animals, usually injected by bite or sting.

That power is even more dangerous. If someone tries to inhale here, they could die. And what is her plan, anyway? Why is she treating these people as substance?

Looking at her, it seems like she doesn't care. Parang handa na siyang makipaglaro sa mga scientist dito. Pero 'di basta pwede pumayag si Saku ng ganun-ganun na lang.

He could barely look at her. And he showed no signs of concern on his face. What? She did those things simply to appear powerful in front of others? Because, like him, she possesses immense power that must be kept hidden from humans? Is this it?

If his anger isn't enough to convince her that he actually hated her, what sort of fool is she?

Saku made touch with Andri's chilly body, and a chill spread across the two of them. "I told you that you're no exception, stupid. No one can avoid the judgment day," he said, smirking.

He did warn him, however, that these foolish things would soon be overshadowed by something far more concerning.

Then his attention moved to Mara, "Masaya ka na ba sa plano mo? You killed them, and now, in order to complete your task, I must do all you say because of the Book of Fates, hmm?"

"I guess you aren't truly an idiot, right?"

The air became misty, and Minami is now standing right in front of Erebus. She has no idea what happens next now that Saku has abandoned her on this adventure! She had no option, either.

"Are you the Archduchess? And you must be here to get the key?"

Napahawak na lang si Minami sa isang pader, pero sa dilim nito....she barely doubts that she will see anyone around here. Wala rin siyang ibang panahon ngayon kundi sumunod na lamang kay Erebus.

She began walking down Erebus, keeping her close to him. Not long after, she discovered dark water nearby. She couldn't see that this was all part of his plan.

The River Styx.

It's one of the rivers of the underworld. The word styx literally means "shuddering" and expresses loathing of death.

The gods swear by the water of the Styx as their most binding oath. If a god perjured himself, he was rendered insensible for a year and then banished from the divine society for nine years.

Styx as the daughter of Oceanus and the mother of Emulation, Victory, Power, and Might. The Styx later was identified with the stream now called Mavronéri (Greek: "Black Water") near Nonacris in the Aroania Mountains (near modern Sólos) in Arcadia.

The ancients believed that the river's water was poisonous and would dissolve any vessel containing it except one made of the hoof of a horse or an ass.

"Ano'ng kalokohan 'to!?"Sigaw na lamang niya and her brows furrowed as she stared at Erebus.

No matter where she goes, seems like she can't avoid her death. Sa lahat ng 'to, alam niyang wala siyang pagpipilian. Ang kanyang kapalaran ay pinili na mismo, at alam niya na kailangan niyang labanan 'to, anuman ang mga kahihinatnan nito.

She's aware of it. She cannot lift the curse that has been placed upon her, no matter how she changes her destiny. Despite having the most powerful military on her side, Walang sinuman ang makakaalam kung kailan siya mapupunta sa piligro.

Walang sinuman ang nakakaalam kung gaano kahirap sa kanya ang curse na 'to, lalo na dahil 'to ay madalas na pinagpasa-pasahan sa nakaraang mga generation and unfortunately she's in danger.

The atmosphere has gotten even darker. Minami just swallowed from where she stands, and some black figures are pursuing her to kill her. How many times does she have to die?
