Jamie was brought out of his memories by Gabriel poking him with a pocky stick. Semi-amused, he snatched it from the now pouting archangel-turned trickster.

"So, why are you guys here?" Jamie asks his brothers.

"Us? What are you doing here?!" Dean asks in a slightly higher pitched voice.

"What, I can't hang out with an old friend after my brothers forgot about me to go on a hunt. Again" he asks rhetorically.

Sam and Dean winced, a jab of guilt hit them.

"If you two chuckleheads must know, Jamie and I were just catching up since we haven't seen each other in a few years."

Sam sat down across front of the two best friends with a look of intrigue.

"How do you two know each other?" He asks.

"Well, that's a good question, Samsquatch."

Jamie howls with laughter, nearly falling off the couch he was sprawled on while Gabriel and Dean smirked at Sam's indignant look.

"Jamie and I met through my big brother. Jamie, at the time, was still in school when he met my brother. They became really close and had started dating when I was introduced, we bonded over pranks and candy but didn't become as close as we are now until my brother went missing. After that Jamie and I were all we had." Gabriel explained, his voice quieting down towards the end until it was barely a whisper.

"Wh-who..." Sam starts softly, unsure what to say.

"His name was Lucifer and he was my star" Jamie whispered as a single tear ran down his face.
