Jamie found himself spending more and more time with the Weasley twins since Victor was too busy with the task to even talk for more than ten minutes.

The twins were delighted to spend as much time with Jamie as they could, especially after he stood up for them when a group of Griffendores were picking on them for being gay. After that, Jamie took them under his wing an even encouraged them to open the joke shop their mother constantly berated them for.

He once said after a particularly harsh howler they'd received from their so called mother.

Then, he took them home with him on Christmas after learning that their mother was going to force them to stay at school because their father was busy at work and she wanted to take their youngest siblings to Egypt.

The twins were elated while their youngest siblings, Ron and Ginny, whined about it. They even told their mother about how "unfair" it was that Fred and George got to go home with the "hot, new, mysterious student from Dumstrang."

To which Jamie just shook his head in disgust. He had never likes those two spoiled brats.

They got another howler from their mother like they had every morning for the past month. This one though, was rather vindictive. Their mother denounced and disowned them simply for being gay and following their dream instead of waiting on Ran and Ginny hand-and-foot.

Jamie, in an act of righteous love for his two young friends, hexed Ron and Ginny –whom had smug looks and laughed at the utter heartbreak on the twins' faces– before declaring in front of the whole school that they will be coming home with him for Yule and his parents would happily adopt them since they already considered them family.
