3RD PERSON POV

Recap:

"Sorry, but I already made plans for the weekend.." I rejected him politely while giving an apologetic smile before walking away and out of the classroom.

Honestly, I have nothing going on during the weekends besides video calling Sugawara while studying, I just didn't want to straight up say "No." to him, I'll feel bad.

But technically, I wasn't lying, was I?

On with Chapter 13:

TERUSHIMA'S POV

"Why did I even try... Of course she would be busy. It's with him, isn't it?" I muttered to myself as I walked out of the school.

I tried to ask (Y/n) if we could hang out, but she declined it..of course she would.. I messed up in the past, she has the rights to ignore and reject me, or even pretend I don't exist!

I let out a sigh as I dragged my feet to the convenience store to get some food for dinner.

"Welcome!" the cashier greeted and I lazily acknowledged it. I looked through the shelves and nothing looked good to me, not even my go-to snacks, not even my favourite Sausage Bread. {i think}

I guess I was so down that it even affected my appetite. Knowing that there's no food for dinner at home, I bought the bread anyways and some other snacks and dragged my feet to the cashier.

...

When I finally reached home, I immediately headed to my bedroom. I placed my bag on the floo, by the wall, and just flopped onto my bed face first. I let out another sigh and groan before rolling over onto my back and stared at the ceiling.

"...Should I try calling her?" The thought suddenly came into my mind. "...but why?" I continued trying to think of a reason to call (Y/n) out of nowhere.

She most likely wouldn't answer it, but I want to try? For what reason? Gut feeling?

After much thinking and debate with myself, I find myself sat up and staring at my phone with (Y/n)'s contact getting dialed up. The call managed to reach her.

A few seconds later, the call ended automatically because it rang for too long without getting picked up.

I got a sudden determination and tried to call her again, and again, and again.

This went on for a while.

"This isn't going to work.." I said as I flopped back onto my bed and continued staring at the ceiling.

I ended up spamming her phone with missed calls since she didn't pick up any of them.

I wanted to leave a voice mail, but I doubt she'd even bother listen to them.

....(L/n) (Y/n)... I am sorry.

3RD PERSON POV

While Terushima was busy trying to call (Y/n), the latter was actually busy with Sugawara.

Sugawara was, once again, teaching (Y/n) her worst subject(s) and they had put their phones away to not get distracted.

But, they still got distracted with each other nonetheless..

"Correct!" Sugawara said before planting kisses on (Y/n)'s face.

"Haha, Suga, stop! That tickles!" (Y/n) exclaimed as she tried to push Sugawara's face away. But Sugawara prevented that by grabbing the sides of her head and brought her closer instead.

"Nooo! Haha!" (Y/n) laughed as she tried to lean as far back as possible to escape.

Due to her leaning back, Sugawara began to lean forward. This went on until Sugawara leaned too forward and accidentally ended up on top of his lover.

His hands were beside her head to prevent himself from crushing the girl. He managed to save himself at the last second.

One of his legs was positioned between hers and the other was on the outside, and his body ended up being mere inches away from her.

The same could be said about their face.

Sugawara's attention hopped from (Y/n)'s face, to her (s/c) skin, to her eyes, nose, and then the mouth, more specifically her (l/c) lips.

"..."

"..."

Both said nothing as they just stared at each other with growing blushes on their faces.

"Uh.. Um... let's.. go back to studying..?" Sugawara suggested awkwardly only when a few seconds of them staring had passed.

"Uh... yea. Let's." (Y/n) said before the two went back to focusing on the task at hand with a hint of awkwardness lingering in the air.
