Percy's Pov

I walked for what seemed like hours. The sand from the beach flying everywhere thanks to the wind. It was a nice breeze however.

The beach was really packed and I'm the only idiot with hoodie on. You might be asking, why am I wearing a hoodie in the beach? Well the answer is simple, Im still hiding from my past.

I walk past a hotdog stand when I hear some commotion nearby. It sounds as if someone is in trouble.

I sigh. Me being me, I couldn't stand by and not do anything to help whoever is in trouble. I quickly run through the beach and find a small bridge. There are a few people there and two girls. Oh, it's that kind of trouble, I thought sighing.

As I get closer I can make out what they are saying.

'Leave us alone Chad' A girl that seems to be 18 says to who I'm guessing is Chad.

'Aww come on baby girl, how bout we go to my place?' He asks in a cocky manner.

'I said no you freak!' The girl yells.

I see a hand flash by and see that Chad slapped the girl.

'Seems I gotta teach you some manners b*tch' He yells pushing the girl back and forth between four other guys.

At that instant I close in on the group and tap on Chad's shoulder.

'You don't wanna do that' I said dangerously.

'He turns around. 'Hey guys look at this loser!' He yells back to his friends.

'I'm asking you nicely, if you do not leave the two girls alone, I will kill you' I threatened forming my hands into fists.

'Hey you, it's ok please don't fight' The girl says.

I turn to look at her. 'It won't be much of a fight' I said to her calmly.

At that moment Chad pulls my hood down, revealing my face. He instantly cries out in fright.

I look at him puzzled, then look at the puddle next to me and find my eyes are pitch black with a universe moving in them.
All in all I looked pretty awesome!

'Get away from me you freak!' Chad screams.

I smile. 'I would rather be a freak than a bully who thinks he is tough by picking on women who can't protect themselves' I said grinning.

At that he lets out a growl and charges me. I sidestep him, grab his wrist, twist his arm to his back, then I used my other hand, placed it on the side of his neck and used his momentum to turn him around to smash him against the side of the bridge. It was an instant K.O.

'Anyone else feeling lucky punks?' I ask menacingly.

Wow I almost sounded like Ares there! Never thought that was possible.

Instantly two guys charge at me, one pulling out a knife. I laugh as I kick one on the balls, then uncapped Riptide, easily disarming the guy with the knife. I then hold Riptide to the guy's throat.

'As I asked before, anyone else feeling lucky, punks?' I asked glaring at the other guys.

'N-no S-s-sir!' The other guys yell simultaneously.

I smile. 'Good, now get the hell out of here before I practice my decapitating skills' I said deadly serious.

Everybody jumps in fright, then pick up their sleeping friends and run off. That left me and the two girls. They were both looking at me, the little one looked happy while the other was cautious.

I give them a light smile. 'It's ok, I am not here to harm you, that's not who I am' I said calmly.

At that the little girl that looks to be 5 years old runs to me and hugs my legs.

I kneel and give her a hug. 'Thank you mister! They were so scary' The little girl said.

I smile. 'No need to be scared of them. They are nothing but cowards that beat up people smaller than them' I said still hugging her.

At that moment the bigger girl walks up to me and takes the little girl by her hand.

'Come on sister, don't bother the nice gentleman' She says nervously.

I laugh. 'It's no trouble miss, my name is Perseus Jackson, but you can call me Percy' I said extending my hand.

She takes my hand. 'My name is Amanda Johnson, Thank you for saving us' She said sincerely.

I wave my hand dismissively. 'There is no need to thank me, I hate bullies' I said smiling.

Then I get a good look at her face and see the man's hand imprinted in her cheek with blood oozing out of it wound caused by a ring.

I bring my hand up and cup her face. 'My, you're bleeding, hold on I can help with that' I said as I take out a water bottle.

I open it and pour some water on my hand. Then I bring it to her face and I chant in Greek. Instantly the water begins to glow and heals her face. There isn't even a handprint left.

The little girl squeals in delight. 'That was so cool!' She says jumping up and down.

I smile. 'Its just one of many skills I have' I said smiling.

Amanda seems shocked and relieved at the same time.

'What are you?' She asks amazed.

I shrug. 'I'm a demigod. Or at least I used to be. I am now a Primordial, pretty much stronger than any God out there' I said smiling.

Amanda looks at me confused. 'Gods are real?' She asks.

I nod. 'Yes, however they are a bunch of self centered, jacka- I mean jerks' I said remembering there is a little girl here.

She smiles when I look down on her.

'Yeah, I'm kinda a wanted "Criminal" even though I haven't done anything wrong' I said sadly.

She looks at me shocked. 'Wow I've only known you for a few minutes but I can already tell you aren't a criminal' Amanda says honestly.

I smile. 'Thank you, seems you're the only one that believes me. And they say Athena is the smart one, and she's the one that convinced Zeus that I'm a traitor and should be hunted down!' I said angrily.

At this outburst Amanda comes up to me and places her hand on my shoulder.

'It's o,k Gods can think whatever they want, You're a nice guy in my eyes' She said looking me in the eyes.

Wow, she has beautiful eyes, how did I not notice this before? I ask myself. My thoughts were interrupted by the little girl.

'Hey Percy, do you have a place to stay? Sister can he come with us?' She asks.

I smile. She is so cute! I've never seen a more adorable girl in my life. Grant it I've been fighting Monsters and Titans for almost 10 years.

Amanda smiles and looks at me. 'Well do you have a place to spend the night? You are more than welcome with us, it's the least we could do to repay you' She said smiling.

I think it over and quickly made up my mind. 'Alright I will go with you, but I will pay you as if I was staying at a hotel or something' I said quickly.

'Oh no you're not! This is the least we could do since you practically saved us from those bullies' Amanda said in a serious tone.

I raise my hands in surrender. 'Ok ok, but I will be taking us to breakfast then!' I said compromising.

Amanda shrugged. 'Ok fine, come on' She said leading the way to her house.

I smile. She reminds me of my mom, Sally. I could never change my moms mind once she made a decision. I sigh, I miss mom so much. Why did she have to die? I ask myself.

'So what's your name little girl' I ask the little girl as we walk down the street.

She turns around. 'I'm Natalie' She says smiling happily.

'Well nice to meet you Natalie' I said smiling at her.

A few minutes later we arrive at a fence leading to a house. We open the fence door then walk up to the front door of the house.

Amanda opens the door and ushers us inside.

This is a fairly large house, it's very homey if you get what I mean. It has a fireplace in the living room, a large table in the kitchen and stairs leading upstairs.

'Welcome to my home Percy' Amanda says as Natalie runs off to the kitchen.

'Thank you Amanda. I love your home, it's very beautiful in here' I said smiling.

Amanda smiles. 'Thank you, come on, let me show you around' She says placing a hand on my shoulder and leading me around her house.

After she showed me around I jump in the shower in her guest room. I quickly shower and jump out and walk to the door opening it with a towel wrapped around my waist.

I open the door and find that Amanda was just about to knock on the door, with clothes in her other hand.

'Oh sorry, I just came to give you some clothes' She says as she blushes when she sees me.

If I didn't know better I'd say she likes me or something.

'Oh thank you Amanda' I replied reaching for the clothes.

'You're welcome, these used to belong to my dad but I'm sure they fit you' She said handing me the clothes.

'I will be downstairs, dinner is ready' She said quickly rushing to the door.

I stare at the spot she disappeared from and quickly put on my clothes. She gave me a gray t-shirt, with black basketball shorts. I quickly throw on the shirt finally and walk downstairs.

As soon as I step outside the door, my nose is assaulted by what smells like pasta. Man I love pasta! I quicken my pace downstairs and reach the kitchen.

'Hello gir-' I didn't get to finish as I was almost tackled.

I look down and find Natalie dangling from my waist. Aww she's so darn cute! I pick her up and give her a hug and swirl her around. I smile as I'm doing this and Natalie just keeps laughing childishly.

I look up and find Amanda giggling by the table. I give her a small smile and put down Natalie.

'Come on Nat, your sister is waiting' I said sitting her in her chair.

I quickly round the side of the table and pull the chair for Amanda. She blushes slightly.

'Well aren't you a gentleman' She says smiling.

I shrug smiling. 'My mom raised me to be like that' I said.

When I said that memories of my Mom came flooding back to me. I willed myself not to cry but somehow two tears managed to get away.

Amanda saw this, stood up and gave me a hug.

'It's ok, sorry I brought it up' She whispers.

I smile. A complete stranger is comforting me, who would have thought that possible!

'It's ok, sorry about that. It's just that she was the best mom ever. Every time I went to visit her at home she would have blue chocolate chip cookies for me which are my favorite. For breakfast she would make me blue pancakes. Only because blue is my favorite color' I said softly.

'Im sure she loved you very much and wouldn't want you to be sad. I'm sure she would want you to enjoy life instead of thinking about her death' She whispered.

It was then I realized she was crying too. Ok now I guess I'm comforting her! I give her a small squeeze and she starts to cry a little more.

'Hey it's ok, I'm assuming your parents aren't here anymore too?' I ask quietly.

She pulls back and nods her head. 'They died a year ago in a car crash' She whispered.

I nod my head and raise my hand, wiping away her tears.

We quickly get done with dinner in silence for the most part. Natalie kept asking questions about the Gods. I answered her the best I could, and told her not to pray to them because they are mean jerks. She nodded happily and said she would pray to me.

'No, don't pray to me, pray to Lord Chaos!' I said smiling.

'Ok!' Natalie said smiling.

'Ok come on Natalie, time for bed' Amanda said picking her up.

I smiled and followed her. We went up the stairs and into a room that was colored purple. It had flowers and glow in the dark butterflies on the walls. The bed was also decorated with flowers and butterflies. I smiled, typical normal girl room.

I walk and stand in the doorway. I don't wanna interrupt a family thing or anything.

After Natalie is put to sleep, Amanda comes back out.

'Thanks for everything Amanda. I really appreciate it' I said sincerely.

'It's fine Percy, I would do it again in a heartbeat' She replied giving me a smile as she closed Natalie's door.

'Well good night Amanda. I will see you tomorrow' I said turning around to walk to the room Amanda let me stay in.

I didn't even turn around all the way before I feel arms wrap around me. I turn to see Amanda hugging me, she then pulls away and gives me a kiss in the cheeks.

Good thing I'm tanned or Amanda would see me blush!

'Good night Percy' She says blushing as she pulls away. She gives me a smile before disappearing into her room.

I'm standing there still trying to figure out of that actually happened! I mean, who wouldn't? Five minutes go by and I'm still standing there confused as ever. Geesh I really am a seaweed brain! I thought to myself making my way to my room, closing the door and passing out on the bed.

Hey guys. Sorry I didn't get to update yesterday. I was stuck in traffic in New York unfortunately. So I tried making this chapter as long as I can.
