Haroon walked through the big sliding glass door into the building. He looked at the mass of busy people wearing suits going around, he looked up to see the beautiful well designed interior. He has never been inside the building, however he has passed outside it a lot of times.

Haroon approached the reception desk and there was a man in a suit sitting in it.

"Good Morning, how may I help you?" the man asked him.

"May I speak to Calvin?" Haroon politely inquired.

"What's his last name? Which department is he in?" the man questioned.

"Calvin Borris, I don't know about the department but the position is CEO," Haroon answered.

The man responded with a laugh.

"Listen Man, I've got no time for these games. Please leave," the receptionist told him.

"What do you mean? I've to see him," Haroon insisted.

"Do you have an appointment?" the receptionist asked in annoyance.

"No, I don't."

"You can't see him without an appointment," the man sighed. "Here, just fill the form to request for an appointment, they'll call your number to tell you the date... if your request is ever accepted."

"We're in a relationship where we can see each other without an appointment, just ring to inform him and I'll leave if he refuses."

"Man, are you crazy? Do you think just anyone can come in here and speak with the CEO?" the man asked him furiously.

"I'm not crazy. We're close enough."

"Then ring him yourself to tell him you're here. Unless...you don't have his phone number! Then that means you're not close enough. So please leave and stop wasting my time. Otherwise I'll call security guards to drag you out of here," the man threatened him.

"Please just do me a favor and just ring his office," Haroon pleaded.

"Firstly our CEO is not here yet, but even if he was here I would still not do that. So please leave."

"It's 10 a.m there's no way he is not here yet, don't lie to me and just ring him," Haroon said, getting slightly annoyed.

Without answering anything the receptionist angrily pressed the button and in less than a minute two security guards came and started dragging Haroon out of there. Haroon tried to free himself from the hands of the two guards but they were too strong, or maybe he was the one who was too weak.

As they reach the glass door Calvin with two older men all in suit suddenly walked in, Calvin glanced at the direction of the commotion and without saying anything or showing any sign of knowing him continued walking in the building. The guards continued dragging him out but he held his legs so firm on the ground with all the strength he could muster.

"Calvin!" Haroon called out. Calvin didn't even flinch, he continued walking away.

"Let's turn ourselves in." That did it. Calvin abruptly stopped, turned back and walked towards Haroon so quickly.

"You can go, I know him," Calvin instructed the guards.

The guards bowed a little and freed Haroon. Calvin proceeded to grab Haroon's hand and drag him towards the elevator. The two men who were with Calvin also tried to get in the elevator but Calvin signed his hand to stop them. Calvin pressed the button for the top floor. They all stayed in silent until they reached the rooftop. Calvin who was quietly walking ahead of Haroon suddenly stopped and turned back.

"What the hell are you trying to do?" Calvin asked him furiously.

"Let's turn ourselves in."

"And why would we do that? You're kidding right!" Calvin scoffed.

"I'm not, I'm dead serious. We should pay for our crimes."

"Are you doing this because you're upset with me? Is it because of what I did last time?"

"No, it's not because of that. I've been thinking about this for a long time now."

"Listen pal, You're only saying this because you're living a shitty life right now and it's hard. But I'll give you money, a lot of money. Money enough to buy any car and house you want. With that you can start over and turn your life around."

"I don't need money to turn my life around."

"Then what do you need? You think going to the police and tell them we killed Michael will help you turning your life around? No it won't. Money is the best shot anyone can get." Calvin shouted.

"But atleast I'll have a little piece of mind. If I suffer enough maybe the pain in my heart will go away," Haroon shouted back, tears in his eyes.

"Stop ridiculing yourself!" Calvin yelled, he sighed and went to grab Haroon's shoulders .

"Listen to me Haroon, you're not thinking straight right now, just go home and sleep in it and then tomorrow morning we'll talk over," He calmly told him.

"I'm fine."

"No, you're not! Go and get some sleep first. You look tired."

Haroon sighed.

Haroon passed through the glass door as he walked outside the building, he sighed heavily and hung his head down. He was startled by the sudden sound of his ringtone, he took out his phone and it was an unknown caller id. He contemplated whether to pick it or not and decided to just pick up.

"Hello, who is this?"

"Haroon??" a familiar voice called.

"Winnie? Is that you? Oh my God! How are you? I was so worried, you didn't call me."

"I'm sorry. A lot of things has been going on."

"It's okay. Are you alright now? Did you find a place to stay?" he asked her, concerned.

"Yeah I did," she paused. "Umm do you have time? can we meet? There's something I wanted you to help me with."

"Of course, anything. I don't know if I can be of much help but I'll try my best. Just send me the time and location and I'll be there ASAP," he said cheerfully.

"Oh thank you, I'm sending it to you now."

"Okay bye."

"Bye," she said before disconnecting.

Calvin walked in his office, Why do unfortunate things keep on happening? he rubbed his face in frustration.

Calvin thought of Winnie, he wondered where she was. He wondered why there was still no news of her. From the night before to that morning he was busy calling some of Winnie's friends to see if Winnie went to any of them or if they heard anything from her but she didn't contact any of them. He didn't even know any of her friends in the first place, he had to find an expert to unlock her phone and go through her contacts and call almost everyone in her contacts. He sighed.

"Sir," his secretary Linda called as he was passing through her desk to his office.

"WHAT!??" he yelled. "Are you calling to give me your resignation? I told you if you didn't fix me a meeting with Martin or Henry to resign, it's Monday today and I don't hear any news or see any resignation."

Linda flinched at the tone of his voice before quickly composing herself back, "Actually I was calling to tell you I've news concerning that," and with that she suddenly had all his attention. Calvin walked towards her desk and only stopped few inches away.

"I found out Martin's hobby. Actually I'm not sure if I should call it a hobby or not but...."

"Get to the point!" Calvin yelled.

"It's today, every monday evening around 7a.m he goes to Skewers hotel alone for dinner."

"What?? What kind of a hobby is that? Not even Friday or Sunday, why Monday? And alone at that!"

Linda almost rolled her eyes.

"That is because his wife died on Monday, and skewers was her favorite restaurant," she told him.

"So it's like some sort of a weekly-versaly? The man is crazy!!" Calvin scoffed.

"I think it's cute," Linda commented and immediately regretted her decision to do so when he saw Calvin annoyed expression.

"Make me a reservation at the exact same time!" he ordered before walking into his office, not bothering to hear Linda's response. Linda rolled her eyes.

At least one thing is going my way. Calvin sighed before sitting on his couch and closed his eyes.
