Writers work differently, so I can only give you my tips from my experience, but I can tell you this is the best way to write for me personally and others who I inspired.

Google Docs

Use Google docs instead of writing directly in the Wattpad chapters. It's similar to WORD with different options. Here are the pros:

- you can share it with other people, and they can look over the text before you publish it (if you want)

- there, you have a better overview of your story

- you may gain more motivation to write? (at least in my case)

Grammarly

Grammarly is an app for website and phone. It will correct basic spelling errors and gives you synonyms (pls google their definitions!). This is an app I can only recommend and which every writer should have.

Got those things ready? Then you can go ahead and make an outline.

What's an outline you might ask?

It's a general plan/bullet points of your ideas. The scenes you want to include in a story and this is so helpful! I've seen so many wattpad fics on here discontinued and this is something where you can plan ahead and maybe brainstorm with someone about the scenes and add details. Characters

This step can come before making an outline but sometimes you're not sure on how to make a character appear so it can vary. Make sure to make a list of basic things about your character. Believe me, you can easily forget what kind of hair colour or age your character has in your story.
