I am happy for my brother that he found his forever.
Maybe forever only exist to other people and God skipped me.
My dad and mom is my yardstick of forever. For me, an eternal love is more precious than gold. My mom die when we were 12 leaving my dad a widower at the age of 37. And he didn't marry even though we pushed him. He said my mom is his only one. He will die loving one woman.

That is what I want for me.

"Wala ka ng magagawa. Girlfriend ko si Diane, huli ka na." Pang-aasar ni Tristan kay Angel.

Angel or Angelito Romualdez is my brother's best friend and a newfound half-brother of my friend Diane.

"Grabe... I was looking for you but dad told me to look for Angela Vicente." Hinilamos ni Angel ang kamay sa mukha.
Matatawa ka sa mukha ni Diane. Hindi ko alam kung iiyak o ngingiti.

Parang sunod-sunod naman kasi ang surprise ka kanya. Buti na lang naka-alalay si Tristan. Buti talaga natauhan na si Tristan.

Tristan is comfortably hugging Diane. My dad caught my eyes and I smile. I know he is worried for me. Cause he can't stop being a father and I am his baby.

When I told my dad the short version of my short marriage life. I swear he cried for me. Tristan didn't know the story and I don't want him to know.
Wala na rin naman kwenta, on process na ang annulment.

"Trish" Angel's voice brought me back to our conversation.
"Yup?"
"Tahimik mo." Puna nito. Isa pa siya sa over-protective. Angel grew up with us.
My dad and his dad were friends. And when Tito Angelo died due to heart failure, Angel live with us until he graduated and move to his own. So he is basically a Kuya to me.
"Ka-message ko ang mga kaibigan ko. Nanghihingi ng updates. D you better reply before they come in here uninvited." I replied.
"Oh no. Mahaba-habang kwento to. Ayaw ko muna silang replyan. Ngayon pa lang nagsink-in sa utak ko na meron akong kapatid." Naiiling-iling si Diane.
"Yesterday, I was an orphan, and now I have a family."
"Anybody needs anything from the kitchen? I will get some water. Excuse me."  I excused myself from the group.

What on earth is happening to me?

"Trish, are you okay?" My dad asked. He followed me because of his sense. He knew.
"I'm okay dad," I replied without looking at him.

My dad went beside me and hug me.

"Trisha. I know you are not."
"Dad, I am happy for Tris."
"I know baby girl. And I know your time to be happy will come. Hanga ako sayo sa tatag na pinapakita mo. Hindi madali yan anak. If you need anything, you know I am always here for you. Kahit ano pa yan."
"Thanks, dad."
