Robin had texted her earlier that he was on his way back, and that she should prepare a road of towels that lead to the bathroom, so she prepared him a warm bath that he can get into once he gets here. For now, she was reading a book and waiting patiently for him to come back and tell her everything that happened. She and Ike had also stopped by the cafe, so she had some tea ready for both of them to sip while they talked. There was a beep at the door and the door slammed open, and there he was. He threw his backpack, shoes, hoodie, and key card on the floor and rushed to the bathroom on the towel path Zelda had made.
"There's a warm bath waiting for you!" Zelda said.
"Thank you!" Robin said. He slammed the bathroom door behind him and quickly took off all of his clothes and slowly got in the bath. He sighed in relief when he got fully in, closing his eyes for a short moment. He smiled and slid in deeper, until only his nose and above were above the water. And then the self consciousness train began its move.
During Phys. Ed, they all had to change. And his bisexual ass, couldn't help but notice, that all the boys were quite fit. Six packs, biceps, and pecs were everywhere. He had double check every once or twice that he wasn't, ahem, turned on. Aside from that, he was jealous of them. He wasn't the most athletic person, to say the least. He never bothered to get fit, he was fine with how he was. You could say he's a "twink." Without the whole "getting it on" part. He sighed. He should start working out. People will start beating him up if they see how weak he is that's for sure. He slapped himself. Stop being so negative goddammit! There's plenty of boys that aren't buff too! That Marth guy he saw at the locker room wasn't that fit. Even a couple of freshmen weren't.
Still, he should work out anyway because really, he was getting out of shape. There was a gym nearby, maybe he could ask Zelda to take him there? That sounds like a good idea, but he'd have to lay back on the cookies. And he loves cookies. And dessert in general. ... Maybe he can't do this.
"Robin hurry! The tea's gonna get cold," Zelda said.
"Oh! Sorry I'll be out in a bit," Robin said. He stood and drained the water, then took a towel and dried himself. He changed into some pajamas and was about to put on his glasses when he realized they broke. He needs to get those replaced, luckily he was going to anyway. Now is a good time to try out those contacts. He put one on his finger tip, accidently stabbed his eye, and finally got it in. Rinse, repeat on the other eye. He put a towel around his neck since his hair was still wet. He needed a haircut. But it looked nice. He could debate with himself later, the tea is waiting after all.
Zelda patted the spot next to her when she saw him step out, teacup in hand. He smiled slightly and did as she suggested, taking the teacup on the night table next to them. She looked at him with a knowing yet curious look. She put her teacup on her lap and turned to face Robin.
"So, what happened?" Zelda said.
"Huh?" Robin said.
"With Chrom? It's pretty obvious you like him."
"... it is?"
"Yes."
"... shit."
"Pfft, no need to worry though. He is good looking and has a good personality. Like half the girls in the grade have a crush on him. Him and Professor Byleth from class 3-C have fangirls and fanboys everywhere."
"Is Professor Byleth cute?"
"Robin."
"Sorry."
"Whatever, but how did it go?"
"Nothing happened. We just talked for a bit and cleaned. We finished pretty quickly too, we just talked for a bit after that."
"Did your feelings grow?"
"I don't really know."
"Hm. You like Lucina too, right?"
"... yeah."
"Lucina isn't a teacher, and married."
"But she's in a relationship."
"That's true. But I mean hey, you never know. They could break up tomorrow."
"Don't jinx it."
"Hehe, that was my point."
"Zelda no-"
"Zelda yes!"
Robin actually laughed at that, and even though she had zero interest in him, his laugh made her heart melt. He has such a cute laugh! His looks really added to it too. No matter how much he downgraded himself, Robin was good looking. I think anyone that really looked at him could see that. It's too bad he doesn't feel confident in himself. He would be winning everyone's hearts then. Zelda got a fantastic idea then.
"You could join the Pretty Boy Crew!" She said. He started choking on his tea when she said that, and she suddenly regretted saying that. She patted his back in hopes that'd help, and once he was done coughing, he looked at her with wide eyes and a large blush.
"What?! No way, I could never," Robin said. "Have you seen my face?"
"Yes I have and it's beautiful!" Zelda smiled.
"Noooo, I don't take compliments well," Robin put his teacup down and covered his face.
"Well then I guess I'll compliment the living hell out of you until you learn to love yourself."
"Nooooooooo."
"Let's see, where should I start?"
"Nooo staahhp," Robin whined, but he was really he was smiling like an idiot. It felt so good to have a friend like her, he didn't know the exact reason, but he just felt so happy to have her around. Even if they've known each other for two days, it definitely felt like longer. He knows they'll be friends for longer, maybe until adulthood. He was happy.
"Let's see, there's so much to say!" Zelda said dramatically. "You're tall, You have beautiful eyes, you have an amazing voice, you have a unique hair color which is always good, speaking of which," she put her hands on his hair and started ruffling it, "it's so soft and fluffy, boy how?"
"It's naturally like that," Robin said.
"Well you have naturally fantastic hair, you have a great personality, you're so sweet and kind and care about others, you're smart-"
"Okay! Okay! That's enough!" He laughed, like wholeheartedly laughed. Zelda stopped and observed him, a wide grin on her face. He closed his eyes when he smiled genuinely, his cheeks got a bit red, and he had slight smile wrinkles around his eyes.
"You're so pretty!"
"Stop!" Without thinking, he grabbed a pillow and hit her on the face with it. He gasped and dropped the pillow immediately when he realized what he did. "Oh my god, I am so sorry, I didn't mean-"
"So that's how we're doing it, huh?" Zelda smirked. She grabbed a pillow and started hitting him with it. Robin laughed again and took the pillow he dropped. They had a continuous pillow fight with Zelda complimenting him multiple times while Robin tried to stop her, not that it was working or he wasn't enjoying it. He was so unbelievably happy, he didn't think it was real. Never in his life would he have thought that there'd be a day where he met someone who truly cares for him, yet here he is. It's almost too bad neither of them felt that way about each other, but he didn't mind it. He was going to treasure this friendship, that he was sure of.
