"Are you sure you don't wanna come?"
"Yes, Sheik, I'm very sure I don't want to go."
"You could roast them though."
"Yeah but it'd just get annoying after a while. You have the mental capacity to deal with them, I don't."
"That's not true."
"Sheik your smug aura and sarcasm increase by a thousand whenever you're around them, you know exactly how to piss them off."
"Yeah but since they hate you, your insults will make them even angrier."
"Whatever, I'm still not going."
"Suit yourself. Do you have a tight shirt I could borrow?"
"Why?"
"I wanna piss them off and dress 'feminine.' Even though clothes have no gender."
"Ooooh I see you. I got a blue shirt you could borrow, it's gonna be uncomfortable, though."
"I don't really care, I just wanna piss them off."
"Hehe, okay, I'll drop it off at your dorm in a bit. Wear slippers too by the way."
"I was thinking about buying heels on the way there, but I don't wanna deal with blisters so yeah I'll wear them. Should I cut my hair?"
"Absolutely not."
"It's not even 'cause mom and dad want me to, it's just kinda annoying at times."
"I mean if it's because you want to do it, go off, buuuuut I would like it if you kept it long."
"...fine."
"Yay!"
"Did you edit the photo?"
"Of you and Corrin?"
"Who else?"
"Right, you're a loner."
"Hey!"
"Yeah I edited it, but why did you ask me to in the first place? I'd piss them off even more to see you in a relationship with a man."
"Yeah but I got a bad feeling that if they do, they might do something to Corrin and I don't want that to happen. They might also send me to conversion therapy and that's gonna be a no from me."
"True, it's better not to take the risk. I'll send it to you now."
"Thanks."
"Is Corrin okay with it though?"
"Yeah, I explained it to him and he was upset, rightfully so, but he understood that it was for our safety. His especially."
"If our parents did something to him, I can only imagine what Nohr and Hoshido would do."
"War most likely, or they'd stop trade with Hyrule in the best case scenario."
"Yikes, it really is better you don't tell them."
"Yeah, I hate to do it though."
"Don't worry, once you graduate, you won't have to see them again."
"I hope so."
"I'll bring the shirt to you now, okay?"
"I'll see you here then, bye."
"Bye."

As he pulled up to the gates of the mansion his parents lived in, he couldn't help but smirk to himself. His hair was down and long, his chest was wide open, he was wearing makeup, he was wearing sunglasses, and he felt confident and sexy as hell. His parents were gonna be pissed haha.
"Who goes there?!" Called out one of the guards at the gate.
"Sheik," he said in a cold tone, yet a smug smile rested on his face.
The guard panicked. "Ah! Young Master, I apologize for the disrespect, usually you come in a motorcycle so..." That was true. He'd usually come in a motorcycle to, again, piss his parents off, but this time around he came in Corrin's car because he had to pick up something that couldn't be carried in a motorcycle. "Um, please enjoy your stay, Young Master."
They opened the gate and Sheik drove up to the front of the house. Oh he was so giddy. Annoying his parents was the one thing that brought him the most joy. He wasn't usually a sadist fellow, but seeing his parents seethe in anger, being unable to speak or yell at him because of how angry they were, oh it brought him such joy.
He got off his car and handed the keys to one of the servants waiting for him there, who then drove it away to a parking lot. He walked up the steps leading to the front door and maids open it for him, but instead of going in, he stayed outside with his arms crossed and a smile. The maids already knew what he meant by that, so they closed the door again and left quickly. After a couple minutes, Sheik's mother, a Sheikah woman with blonde hair and piercing red eyes and a hooked nose, which Sheik had inherited all. He smiled. She looked up at him in disgust.
"Mother! My goodness, it's been so long," Sheik pushed his sunglasses to the back of his head, pulling his bangs back, and went in for a kiss. When she felt his lipstick on her cheek, Sheik's mom was even more disgusted.
"Why are you wearing makeup? That is for women only," Sheik's mother said. "Not only that, but that shirt, no, all of those clothes belong on women! Not a man."
"Oh really? I wasn't aware clothes and makeup had a gender. Oh wait, they don't. Well I suppose they do in Spanish, but I don't speak Spanish so I don't care," Sheik shrugged his shoulders with a smile and let himself in.
His mother rolled her eyes. "And why is your hair long? Long hair does not fit men."
"Oh but mother, I feel quite pretty with it like this," Sheik smiled as he twirled a strand of his hair on his finger.
"Pretty is a term to compliment women, not men," his mother said. Sheik only gave her a smug smile. She clicked her tongue and turned to leave. "Get what you need quickly and leave."
"Oh but mother! Don't you want to see my bo-girlfriend!" He almost slipped up there, but he took out his phone and held up the picture of Corrin and himself to show to her. He was glad Zelda did a good job editing it, otherwise he would've been in trouble.
His mother stopped and turned. "You've a girlfriend?"
Sheik laughed. No. "Yes, isn't she pretty?"His mother reached for the phone but he quickly snatched it back. "No touching."
His mother sneered. "Yes she's pretty, but I wish you'd act more like a man, otherwise it's more she's dating another girl." His mother gagged slightly as she said that then walked away.
A vein almost popped in Sheik's head. "Well guess what, bitch? I'm dating a guy so you're almost there." He whispered that, of course, he wasn't about to get whipped. He raised the middle finger at her direction then walked upstairs and up to the attic. It was very dusty. For a mansion as luscious as his parents' he kind of expected everything to be clean. But oh well, time to get to searching.
Eventually, after a lot of sneezing and coughing, he finally found what he was looking for. The family heirloom, in a way. A long, poofy, cream-colored lace dress with gold leaf designs on its sleeves. It had been passed down to each woman in the family to be used in their wedding, they would then pass it on to their oldest daughter, and so on. Sheik thought it was perfect.
"What are you doing?"
A chill ran down his spine. His mother was easy to piss off and she couldn't do anything to him otherwise she'd be judged harshly. On the other hand...
"Why hello father," Sheik smiled as he turned to face him. His father had all the Hylian traits Zelda had inherited. Brown hair, blue eyes, very pointed ears, and a straight nose. It's a shame he isn't nearly as kind and understanding.
"Are you going to wear that?" His father asked.
"Oh no, it's for..." he couldn't tell the truth, "my girlfriend. It's almost prom, so I wanted her to wear it."
"You have a girlfriend?"
"Yes, she's very beautiful, do you want to see her?"
"No."
"Okay," Sheik laughed awkwardly. Eh, might as well piss him off a bit. "Plus, I prefer shirt dresses. Long ones a hassle."
"You-!" His father swung down to slap him, but Sheik tightly grabbed his wrist before he could. His father winced.
"Now now, father, you don't wanna ruin the face of the next heir, do you? What would the media say? They'd definitely talk bad about you and mother."
His father clicked his tongue and snatched his hand away from Sheik's. "Leave. Now." He stomped his way down the stairs leading the the attic and closed the door that opened up to it harshly.
Sheik sighed. "That's what I was about to do anyway, asshole."

Truth be told, Zelda was too tired to go anyway. Dealing with her parents took a toll on her mental health, so she didn't need to do that to herself right now. Neither did she want to hear about them. But when Sheik says he'd meet her in front her dorm, it meant two things: they shit talked about her and they were gonna shit talk about them back, or it was her and Sheik's last goodbye before he went to therapy.
She saw his car pull up so she stood from the stairs that led up to the dorm and walked down them to meet him. Sheik got out of the car and ran up the stairs to meet up with her. She hugged him while he wrapped his arm around her shoulders and led her down the stairs again.
"Is this goodbye?" Zelda asked.
"I'm not going to therapy," Sheik laughed.
Zelda sighed in relief. "Did they shit talk about me then?"
"Nope, they didn't mention you and I didn't mention you to them either," Sheik said. She'd be lying if she wasn't a little disappointed. Sheik pouted slightly upon seeing her reaction, but a smile quickly came. "But, I do have a surprise for you."
Now her eyes sparked with curiosity. "What? What is it?!"
Sheik laughed again. "You'll see." Once they reached the end of the stairs, he led her to his car and reached for the handle for the door of the backseat. He opened it slowly, to add dramatics, and looked expectantly for Zelda's reaction. When the door was fully open, her hands swung to her mouth and her eyes geared up.
"Sheik, this is," she said quietly.
He grabbed the dress and handed it to her, a proud smile on his face. "As the eldest daughter, it is your right to own this dress. Mother and father refuse to acknowledge that, but I know that you deserve this, Zelda."
Zelda weeped quietly as she held the dress tightly to her chest. "Thank you, Sheik. Truly, thank you."
He hugged her close and ran his hand up and down her hair. "You're my baby sis, Zelda, I'd do anything for you. Don't be upset by what out parents say or don't say about you. I'm here and I love and care for you, and there are many others around us who feel the same. So don't be sad, be happy."
Zelda looked up at him and smiled. "Okay!"
