TW: DRUG AND R*PE IMPLICATIONS

Hyrule was a tough place to live, especially if you were in the lower class. Underrepresented, not properly cared for, trashy homes, trashy food, trashy... everything. And orphans. A lot of them. Including Link.

To say the least, he lived in the slums. All the kids there were assholes, and the strong trampled the weak. Link was part of the weak gang. Why? He didn't know.

The school he went to was filled with two kinds of people: the bullies and the targets. Being part of the targets was absolute hell. The school never cared about what happened to their students. The teachers could see someone getting beat to death in the hallway or a fight break out in the classroom and do absolutely nothing. That's why Link tried his best to avoid trouble and simply accepted any that came to him. He's got cigarette burns all over his arms and legs, broken bone scars, hell he even has a scar from a time he got stabbed by a kid.

It was rough, living in the weaker part of the slums. The stronger always tried to take them over, but the police stopped them before, well, a massacre occurred. To survive, you needed one thing: a weapon. Doesn't matter what. As long as you know how to use it, take it with you everywhere. Just don't actually kill anyone.

Link was an expert in sword arts, as his father had been before he passed away. Currently, he lived with a family friend named Rusl. He wouldn't be home for the next couple of weeks because of business in Castle Town. So he was just chilling out in the living room, playing on the phone Rusl had gotten him the last time her went into the city. He has had his sword placed next to him on the floor in case another riot started out. There was one the week before, so he doubted there would be one, but you could never be too sure.

The doorbell rang and all the muscles in his body tensed up. He put his phone down and quietly took his sword from its sheath. He was glad the lights in the house were off, minus the fireplace he'd been sitting in front of, but that shouldn't emit enough light for whoever was outside to see. Speaking of, who is outside? Rusl wasn't supposed to be back anytime soon. Even if he had come back, he would've done their secret knock to let him know it was him coming in.

Was he scared shitless? Yes. Very much so. He's only a twelve year-old kid who had never experienced the real danger of the slums. Rusl had told him about the many things he'd been through living there, and while he himself had seen some of it, he's never actually experienced it. Having your whole house burned to the ground, your entire family murdered right before your very eyes, being murdered. That's something he'd never hope to take part of. Once he was old enough, he had already decided he would move out of there and earn enough money so he can get Rusl out of there too. That was his dream in life.

He peaked out the window of the living room to the front door. There he saw girl standing, hugging her arms close to the chest. She had silver hair, dark skin, and piercing purple-red eyes. She was pretty. He recognized what she was wearing as the uniform from one of the schools around the area. He knew it wasn't from the middle school he went to, or any of the middle schools in the area, so he assumed she was in high school. It was a little surprising that a high schooler would come to his house. She didn't look like she wanted to pick up a fight, she wasn't even armed. Rather, she looked scared. Maybe she was running away from some thugs. No harm in letting her in.

He put his sword down and opened the door, slowly just in case she was in fact armed and tried to stab him. The relief that washed over her face when the door fully scared him a little because if his thug theory was correct, then she just put him in danger too.

"Oh my goddess, I've been saved," she breathed.

"Um, can I do anything for you?" Link asked.

"Could I stay here for the night?"

"What?!"

"Could I stay? Pleeeaaase? My family kicked me out for no reason and I don't have anywhere else to stay. And if I stay out there, I'll die. You don't wanna live with the regret of a 16 year-old girl dying because you didn't let her in your house, do you?"

She was right on that. The last thing he needed was the feeling of not being able to do anything. If he could save someone's life by risking his own, then he would.

"Fine, but you better not think of trying anything," Link said and stepped out of the way.

"Wow! Thank you so much..."

"Link."

"Link! You're such a kind-hearted boy," She said and ruffled his hair. He slapped her hands away as a blush crept up his neck and closed the door. He turned his back to her, wondering if he had made the worst decision of his life. Rusl was gonna be mad if he found out Link let a random person into the house. He was ready for a smacking, but he'd rather have that than a guilty conscience.

"Come here, Link! The floor by the fireplace is nice and warm," the girl said, tapping the spot next to her as she sat on the floor. But the floor was uncomfortable, but she was also very right. His favorite thing was sitting by the fireplace on cold winter nights like this one. He was willing to overlook the fact the floor was uncomfortable if it meant being comfy. But now, the true question is did he trust her? She seemed nice so he'll take his chances.

He wearily sat next to her, keeping a good foot's distance away from her, which she closed as soon as he fully sat down. He gave her an odd look while she just offered a warm smile. He rolled his eyes and redirected them to the fire in front of them, trying his best not to glance at her, which proved to be very difficult. She was really pretty, the prettiest girl he's ever seen. She was even taller than him! And even though she was still pretty young, she was already well developed. Gah! What is he thinking. You're too young, you child! You're only twelve, calm down.

He heard what sounded like the crinkling of foil. The curiosity got the best of him and he looked her way. She was popping out a couple of pills from a pack of pills and then placing them on her mouth. He couldn't help but ask, "What are those?"

She looked between him and the packet and a sly look came over her eyes. "They're aspirins! I have a huge headache right now so I thought I'd take some of them." She looked at him with hooded eyes. "Do you want the rest?"

He did have somewhat of a headache, so a couple aspirins couldn't be too bad. He put his hand out and she smirked, popping the rest of the pills on his hand. "Do they dissolve in your tongue or something?"

"Yep! Just give it a couple of seconds," she giggled. He nodded and popped the pills in his mouth and immediately winced.

"Bleh, I hate the taste of pills," He hissed.

"Haha, right?" She fake laughed. "So, Link, how old are you?"

"Twelve," he said, slurring a little. He felt a little loopy yet very happy all of a sudden.

"Twelve?! That's a first for me, but new experiences are good, right?" The girl smirked.

"I don't know what you're talking about but yeah!" He raised his fist in the air, swinging it around as his body moved from side to side.

"Right, right," the girl said. She scooched up closer to Link, placing a hand on his chest and leaning close to him. "Say Link, how about I repay you for what you did for me tonight?"

"Huh?!" Link said. She pushed him down slowly, sitting on his lower stomach area. She moved her hips up and down that area, awakening a feeling in him he hadn't felt before. It felt good, really good. "What are you doing? It feels good."

"Oh, don't worry, I know many things that'll make you feel really good."

"Really? Do them then!"

"Don't worry, I will. You'll feel so good, you'll become addicted."

He got dirty looks from everyone as soon as he walked on school grounds. He spotted Samus by the gate, giving him her detestable smirk. He shot her a glare that wiped the smirk right off her face. He tried to stay composed, but the truth is, he really wanted to breakdown and cry. Nobody likes him anymore, he lost all his friends and it was all his own fault. If only he hadn't been so stupid and went down that rabbit-hole, then maybe-

"Link Gale to the main office immediately"

Oh. Now everyone really was looking at him. But it wasn't like before. It's like they new exactly what he'd gotten called down for. And he new it too. But now, they didn't look angry, more like... they looked relieved. They looked down on him, knowing he was deserving of this punishment.

"Link Gale, you are hereby expelled from this school," where the first words Master Hand said to him when he sat down at his office.

"Yes, sir," he mummbled and looked down.

"Not only did you pretend to have a serious disability, but you also made documents that proofed to everyone that you had such a disability. You are very lucky we decided to not report this to the police, or that the video that exposed your crime of falsification was taken down before it was seen by an officer."

He remained silent.

"Tell me, how did you manage to make such convincing papers?"

He remained silent. Then a thought came to his head. He resisted the urge to smirk.

"It wasn't me who made them, sir. It wasn't me who had the idea to do this either."

If he's gonna go down.

"Is that so? Then who made those papers?"

He might as well take him down with him.

"Cia."

That girl, who took advantage of him when he was only a young boy, the one who threw him down this infernal rabbit-hole and forced him to stay there. The witch who he despised and wished could throw out of his life, would finally get her turn to be burned at the stake.
