26: Cold Water and Hot Skin

My head was spinning like I was on a non-stop merry-go-round - one with the pretty lights and the colourful ponies, although the pony I was on was a little unstable, shaking slightly from side to side. I think I'll name him Jeffery. Why are you shaking Jeffery? Are you sick?. I frowned in concern for Jeffery as I opened my eyes. As my eyes adjusted to the light I saw that Jeffery was no where to be found and the only thing that remained in my vision was a pouty Jordan, glaring at me slightly and the empty wine glasses coloured the table. I blinked again, I was starting to see such bright colours behind my eye lids making me smile and giggle.

"Great now I got you drunk." Jordan muttered as he rain his hands though his brown hair and rolled his eyes, clearly annoyed with me. What did I do? Wait. Drunk? I wasn't drunk.

I waved my hand towards him, "I'm not drunk. I'm one-hundred percent sob – oh shit! I tipped it." My eyes opened wide as I stared down at the last glass of wine hit the ground, the wine now forming a puddle on the floor. It kind of looks like a puppy – oh my god, I think it moved. I've created life! time for an evil laugh.

"Come on, time to go home." Jordan said as he stood up from his seat opposite me and reaching down, grabbing a hold of trying to pull me away from the wine puppy that was currently yipping at me. I cant leave my creation, it needs me.

"But I'm having fun. Why are you ruining my fun, you fun ruiner." I pouted a little confused at what I just said. Why does my head feel so heavy?

"Fun Ruiner?" He questioned, raising an eyebrow as he gave me a side ways glance and continue to lead me out of the winery.

"Yeah Ruiner, you ruined my fun you ruiner."

"That isn't a word."

"It is if I say it is buddy." I tapped his chest. "Now let go I can walk by myself." I smiled up at him and pushed his hands away from my arms so I could start walking up the gravel path, towards the house.

"Mia?"

I rolled my in annoyance, I was walking here! "What?" I breathed out in annoyance as I spun around and gave him an annoyed look.

"The house is that way." He pointed to the other way, just behind him.

Really? I could have sworn it was that way? "I knew that." I lied, "I was just testing you." Smiling a little I turned around and started bouncing off towards the horses. Oh yes, I see now.

"Come here." He said reaching for me with an extended hand. I let Jordan grab my hand and bring me over to the black horse that he was riding before. Grabbing on to my waist Jordan, lifted me up and placed me on the saddle before he swiftly followed me up.

"But that's my horse." I complained and frowned as I pointed to the brown horse that we were now leaving behind.

"Yes Mia, very good and if I thought you could actually stay on it I would let you ride back." He muttered before making the horse gallop back - the movement was beginning to stir my stomach a little.

We rode back together, I kept trying to steal the reins but Jordan just ended up grabbing my hands with one of his and keeping them on the saddle in a firm grip while he rode with one hand. I kept struggling against him and trying to point out pretty things but he wasn't having any of it, in stead he just pushed me back and rode even faster.

As we arrived in the stables Jordan dismounted, effortlessly and then dragged me down, using his chest to support me as he steadied me. Grabbing my hand Jordan led me into the house,  trying to hold most of weight but failing since I kept pulling away from him. Looking at his face from the side I saw he was annoyed, maybe even angry? But what did I do? I didn't want him to be angry at me. As we stood in the front foyer I started to hear voices, they were floating in my ears and getting louder and louder making my heart race. Oh my god, I can hear dead people! I closed my eyes tightly, panicking. I didn't want to see them. I turned around and buried my head in Jordan's chest before reaching my hand out and hitting the air as if I could protect myself from the ghosts. Jordan started chuckling as his hand came around and touched my back gently. I frowned my brow in confusion, why is he laughing at me? Picking my head up from his chest, I turned to see Julie storming through the house – leaving a trail of water behind her.

She was drenched from head to toe and the look on her face was one of pure red rage as stormed off headed for the stairs, her shoes squeaking as she went.

Thomas trailed in behind her, pausing at the base of the stair case where he watched as Julie stormed up before looking back at his brother and then at me. "I dropped her in the water and you got Mia blind drunk. Mum and dad are going to kill us."

"You convince Julie not to say anything; I'll go sober this one up."

"How?" Thomas seemed baffled at the idea. Ha, that's a funny word Baffled. You baffle my dear sir, why ever would you suggest such an audacious ordeal?

"I have my ways." I saw him smirk out of the corner of my eye.

Without warning Jordan bent down and scooped me up in his arms, making me squeal. I kicked my legs out and started to giggle like a little school girl. "Jordan put me down!" I hiccuped and looked up at him. It was a strange view, his jaw was set and clenched, probably because he was not too pleased with the situation. His eyes were a deep blue at the moment making me smile even more. Getting to the top of the stairs, he kicked open his bedroom door and moved me over towards the bathroom. Putting me down in the shower and turned on the cold water.

"What the fuck is wrong with you, you sick bastard?!" I screamed as the freezing cold spray of the high pressured shower head poured down over my head, seeping into my clothes and making my body shiver. My words started to register in my mind, I just called Jordan a bastard, that was so mean. Why did I do that? Jordan has helped me so much and I was so mean to him, I called him bad names and hurt his feeling. My guilt for yelling at him began to turn my mood. I leaned  back against the cool tiles and put my head in my hands, my body starting to shake as I sobbed and tears rushed down my face like rain, or was it the shower?

"Mia, don't cry." Jordan whispered from the shower door as he leaned closer.

I looked up at his concerned face. He wasn't mad at me anymore? Oh good.

"Okay." I beamed at him, the tears stopped almost instantly as I made a grab for him. I should give him a hug to apologise!

Grabbing hold of his collar I pulled him down into the small shower with me. His beautiful eyes widened in surprise and possibly panic as he registered my movements, but it was too late to intervene. Jordan landed in the shower, on his knees, in between my legs, but his attempt to stop himself from falling was mute as his hands slipped on the tiles and his face fell forward until it was resting against my collar bone. He raised his hands to the cool tiles as he began to lift himself up slightly, his eyes still glistening in surprise looked up into mine. Staring into his eyes I watched as they shifted in colours, the blue midnight ring darkening, the bright blue, deepening to an almost aqua that seemed to draw me in even more.

His position - Jordan kneeling in between my legs, with his chest pressed against me - made it hard for me to think of anything else but Jordan, and the heat radiating off his body. My stomach flipped, the pit of my stomach tickling in delight as my eyes focused on his lips - plump, pink and glistening with the coolness of the water that trickled down his face. I wanted him. Taking a deep breath my lips parted. Reaching out to Jordan, I cupped his jaw and brought his face closer to meet mine, his forehead rest against mine. Feeling my desire grow, I leaned in, pressing my lips against his, kissing him, hungry for the pleasure he could give me.

I ran my tongue over his bottom lips, tasting the sweet wine and water on his lips as I rolled my tongue over his lip and bit into his bottom lip, sucking slightly on the sensitive flesh - my body willing for him to kiss me back. I moved my hands up into his hair, feeling at the wet locks of dark hair run through my fingers before I grabbed a fist full and tugged at it earning a low, husky, almost animal groan from Jordan. Jordan parted his lips, giving me entrance into his mouth but he didn't let me have full control, his expert tongue darted into my mouth, stroking my own and tasting the array of wine's still fresh on my lips. The kiss was heated as his lips worked veraciously against mine, claiming them as his own and moulding them to his will. Jordan pushed me back into the cold tiles as

his right hand started moving downward, cupping my face as he pressed his lips into me, his hands then moved down to my side, running along the outer curve of my breast and following the inner curve of my hip before coming to a stop on my hips. Jordan's large hands slid over my hips and spanned across my butt where he grabbed slightly and pushed me further into him, pulling me closer to his warm body as he deepened the kiss. My moans became hard to control as they continued to slip out of my mouth, my hands had minds of their own as the ran along his hard shoulders and into his hair - and for once I didn't care, I didn't want it to stop. I moved my legs to either side of Jordan as his bulge was pressing rather uncomfortable into my leg, but the new position seemed to make my desire flood to my core, like never before.

Wrapping my legs around his waist I tried to draw him in further. His lips tasted of the sweet mint wine he had tasted in the winery, the sweet delicious taste only made the kiss that much more devouring. I was so caught up in the heat of this moment that I didn't even pay attention to the cold water cascading down over us as we were trapped in the heat of a passionate kiss. I moved my hands down over his body, feeling as his shirt clung to his chest, feeling every muscle as it tensed and rippled under my touch - my hand stopping just at the waist band of his jeans where I tugged at his pants and fumbled for his button craving the feel of him inside me. I needed him, I needed him now.

"Mia." He breathed breaking the kiss, his warm breath making my skin extra sensitive. I moved my hand to his zipper and pulled it down, trying to move his pants down, off his hips.

"Mia, stop." He grabbed my wrists and moved them above my head. I was so shocked by his actions that I was stuck where I sat, against the cool tiles with my hands held above my head. His eyes were almost black with lust and he used that stern, demanding tone that I loved making me even wetter for him.

"Please, take me." I begged him.

"Mia." His tone darkened even more and my mouth shut quicker then it had opened. "Stand up." He said standing up himself and helping me up with him. We stood there, under the freezing cold water in the shower, both of us silent as we stared at each other. Jordan pulled out my hair tie and let my wet hair fall down my back, getting even wet by the water, darkening the colour. He tilted my head up and stepped back leaving me in the shower under the spray of the water. "Stay there."

I blinked a few times feeling the water soak into my pours and wake me up – or sober up, more like it. I heard the sound of footsteps approaching and I knew Jordan was back. He opened the door up again and he reached in and turned the water off before lightly grabbing my hand and helping me out of the shower. His two fingers tilted my head up to face him, his eyes back to a light green but with a dark midnight blue in the outer circle darted back and forth across my face. He raised the towel in his hands and started wiping away the water on my face.

"Feeling sober yet?"

"A little but mainly tired, I think I have a headache." I admitted.

"Good." He said and stepped back from me. "Put this on until Julie unlocks the door." He patted the big grey jumper that he had placed on the basin.

"Thanks." I smiled at him, my hands tightening on the towel. "Hey Jordan?" I called after him, stopping him at the door way. "I'm sorry about before, I wasn't thinking and I..."

"It's okay Mia. Get dressed and maybe some sleep." He told me with a soft smile before leaving the room, in his slightly drenched state.

I took a deep breath and stripped myself of the wet clothes that clung to my body in a heap. Standing there naked I started to wipe down my body and pulling my hair up into a bun so that it didn't fall into my face before sliding on the jumper. It fell down to my mid-thigh which was a lot better than the t-shirt he had given me last night. Thinking back to what happened in the shower I still can't believe I did that, I swear he must be sick of me by now.

I made my way into the room and decided to take Jordan's advice and get some sleep. I pulled back the covers and slid into the bed, letting the mattress and blankets greet me like a hug. I relaxed and closed my eyes. Hopefully I could sleep off this drunken state.

"Mia, wake up." Jordan's voice filtered through my mind as he gently shook me.

I cracked an eye open and saw he was wearing a blue button down shirt and looked silky to touch and his black slacks, his hair was tousled in every direction like he had just woken up. I licked my lips a few times and rubbed my eyes groaning.

"Come on, up you get."

"Why?" I mumbled and tried to turn over but his strong arms stopped me and kept me there in my place with him leaning over me.

"Because my parents are back, dinner will be ready soon and my uncles are on their way over." He said but all I heard was dinner will be ready soon.

"I'm not hungry." I mumbled and tried to turn over again.

"You have two options. One you can get up by yourself or two I can drag you out."

"Fine I'm up" I pushed him back and lifted myself off the bed only to be greeted with a dizzy spell and the rush of blood draining from my head. "I think I'm going to be sick." I put my hand over my mouth.

"Oh no you don't. Not in my bed, I swear to god Mia I will kill you." He warned and start to step back from me like I was some diseased parrot.

I waited for a moment and suddenly felt my stomach settle and the feeling pass. "All good."

"Are you sure?" he asked taking a few hesitant steps towards me.

"Yes." I rolled my eyes but regretted the second I did it, the movement only made me dizzier.

Jordan sat back down on the bed and held my in place so that I didn't fall back down on the pillows and go back to sleep. "Here" He passed me a glass of orange juice and some tablets. I didn't even think to ask what they were and threw them back as quickly as I could hoping they may bring a little relief. I didn't have a hangover – my head was just spinning a little but I didn't have a headache.

"Come on, you need to get dressed. Something nice." He stood up and held out a hand for me.

"Are you saying I don't wear nice clothes?" I narrowed my eyes at him and took his hand allowing him to pull me up. Getting to my feet I quickly smoothed down the jumper – pulling it down further.

"I am not stupid enough to answer that question, now tip toe over to you room and get dressed before someone comes looking for you." He shoved me out of the room. I scrunched my nose and walked over to the room I was staying in. Julie wasn't in here so I quickly found my clothes and got dressed making sure to limit my movements so I didn't throw up. I pulled on my plain black underwear and slipping on my teal dress that Julie had bought me – it was the nicest thing I had bought with me.

Brushing my hair I patted it down the middle and just decided to leave it with the crazy waves to fall down my back. I didn't bother to find any shoes since we were only at the house. Making my way down the stairs I headed towards to chatter and saw everyone in the kitchen. Jordan was leaning against the wall with his head slightly down and his arms crossed over his chest while everyone else was gathered around the island bench – Julie on a stool, Thomas leaning against her chair, his hand brushing her back. Jane and Jodie were cooking and Tyson walking in and out of the room with plates and cutlery – probably setting the table.

I walked in and Thomas whistled before being elbowed by Julie. I laughed at the two – they seem to be on better terms than before, especially since he dropped her in the water – and walked over to the bench. Jordan looked up and came up behind me, placing a hand on the small of my back and tuning into the conversation being had.

"This nice enough for you?" I whispered in his ear.

"I suppose it's alright." He smirked.

"Julie he doesn't like the dress." I said to my friend setting her lose so that Jordan would learn his lesson.

As if sensing the explosion coming his way he held up his hands and took a step back. "That dress is gorgeous you colour blind idiot with no fashion sense." She started and I just smiled looking at my friend with pride. I can always count on her to have my back.
