"Die you stupid ducking bug!!!" Shouted Y/n at he continues to stab at the dead Gigapede, he appears to be covered in a slimy substance.

"Calm down would you, friggin drama queen."

"I'd say this is an adequate amount of drama, because this thing swallowed me!!"

"Like I said no big deal,"

"I swear Dante one of these days you're going to be on the wrong end of a demons mouth."

"Yeah yeah let's just get this over with" the red coated hunter says as they approach the door. As he try and push it open, then kick it open, and almost tried shooting it. Y/n was trying to clean as much gunk off himself as possible. While Dante was joking around with the Jester, Y/n recalled the fight and how he got surprised by the giant centipede resulting in him getting swallowed. But soon he tore himself out hailing gunfire and explosive swords onto the bug.

"BINGO! That is what the SOMETHING is. Remember that kid. Write it down on your hand if you don't trust your head. Ahahahahaha." At this Dante began opening fire on the clown, who simply dodged until he disappeared but his voice was still present. "Thanks for destroying the lock for me, devil boy! And welcome to hell! Please accept my gift. Don't be humble, just take it. Afterall, we are buddies aren't we... Hahaahahaaha."

As the Jesters laughter died out blood started flowing from the the fountain in the middle of the room. Soon the blood flowed over the edge and onto the stone gargoyles who then came to life.

"Well, isn't that special. To be honest, I'm expecting something a little better than this." says Dante as Y/n gives a wistful sigh.

"Why can things ever be easy," then he smirks "then again if it was then life would get boring!" He says charging forward with Helios and Selene blazing coupled with the dozens of summoned swords that follow.

Vermila stands awaiting the inevitable arrival of her brother, as she waits and thinks back to her childhood the thoughts of children run through her mind. And to be more specific, one in particular who was given the name meaning black ironic considering his heritage....

"Nero," the child's name was whispered softly being quickly swept away by the wind like a leaf in a hurricane. Carried far and not to be heard by anyone. At the mention of the name she gaines a softer warm expression, but just as the name it too was soon gone as quick as it came replaced by the cold focused look from before. 'I can't get soft now I must remember why I rose this tower in the first place.'

-scene shift brought to you by chibi Dante and Y/n running from a swarm of demons while firing at them-

Y/n and Dante burst through a door before slamming it behind them.

"Man I thought we were done after the fourth wave of demons but then BOOM a fifth" Y/n said through heavy breaths.

" Yeah I'm just finally glad that's over and now we can just focus on climbing this god awful tower."

"Yeah. Thank goodness we're almost to the top!" shouts Y/n as both come face to a door with skulls on it surrounded by old weapons and armor. "It's a boss room"

"A what makes you say it like that?"

"Because it means we are going to fight something with some bullshit abilities." He says then he points at the divinity statue, "also there's that"

"Yeah that does appear to be always there..."

"Lets go!" he says before throwing open the doors that leads to a big chamber with a bigger set of doors on the other side. These doors were decorated with gold and silver skulls, and on either side were tall pillers connected by a large chain. There were two large beings on top of each piller one was blue and the other red.

"Look brother, it's been ages, but we finally have company." Said the blue demon.

"I see that."

"We must entertain our guest."

" You're right. We have to be gracious hosts."

"Brother, what should we do?"

" How do I know? We need to come up with something."

Dante sighs, Y/n gets antsy having to stand around as their conversation continues.

"Brother, our guest is... sighing."

"SIGH? What is... SIGH?"

"Well a sigh is when -"

"Enough already! How long are you two gonna keep carrying on like this? In case you didn't get the hint, I'll spell it out. Your guests wants to go through. Got it."

"Our job here is to guard this door."

"That's right! We can't let you pass."

"So either pick up your sword or drop it no use holding onto it for decoration!" Y/n said with a smirk tugging at the corners of his lips as he pulls Renegade off his back. Dante soon followed suit with Rebellion.

Agni & Ruda dropped down off their posts raising their swords.... And heads? The strange weapons slightly confused the young hunters who quickly got over it as the Firestorm twins rushed them.
Y/n hops into the air but gets caught by the other twin that flipped.

"Gaahhh!"

"Y/n are you ok?!" Dante shouts before pulling out Cerberus to smack away the twos blades.

"Yeah but he melted my sandels!" Y/n quickly kicked away the burned rubber, "that was my last pair too! Damnit!" Y/n rushed at Agni who was responsible for his shoes downfall quickly throwing Renegade at the fire demon followed by several summoned swords that Y/n used as steps to jump up and axe kicks Agni's body. "YOU OWE ME NEW SANDELS!"
Y/n shouted as he starts swinging kick after kick on the big red body. Finishing with a reverse round house kicking Renegade deeper into him as well as sending him flying.

"BROTHER!" Ruda yells as he pushes Dante away and rushes at Y/n who responded by giving him the same treatment as Agni. As Y/n boots him towards Dante who then bats him with Cerberus towards Agni as both lay there defeated. Y/n walks up pulls Renegade out of Agni.

"Now either you get me some open toed footwear or I'll carve it out of ya!" Then the bodies shone brightly before turning into sandals that strapped around the ankle left one blue the other red. "that's more like it all is forgiven."

"Come on let's get going we're close I can almost smell my sister." Dante and Y/n begin walking towards the door, as the swords spoke out.

"Wait!" Shouts the blue sword,

" Yes, wait. We have been waiting for a long time."

"Yes, a very long time."

"For someone stronger than us."

"Someone who can control us."

"My name is Agni." States the red blade

"And my name is Rudra. You shall take us with you." Follows the blue

" We could be a great help to you!" They both say in unison. Dante ponders this for a bit.

"Come of just grab the swords."

"Oh alright, but on one condition."

"What is it?"

"Name it,"

"No talking" Dante says picking up the serrated swords.

"Before you start twirling them around may I remind you we're on a tight schedule."

"Oh alright," he says putting the swords on his back as they head out. As the two reach an edge they look out over the night fallen city. It's lights shimmering like the stars that were now covered by black clouds. Just as they were walking away Dante reaches out and grabs a woman as she fell.
