BACKSTORY Kallie Athena Charles was born on March 8th, 2005, the youngest of four children to Selene and Ronan Charles, in Mytilene, Lesbos, Greece. Right from birth, she was best friends with Natalie Thomas. She was a year old when her family moved to Dublin, and four years old when her family moved to Brooklyn in New York. A year after that, in 2010, after taking two years of acting lessons, Kallie was hired by Marvel to play Ellie Maxwell in Captain America: The First Avenger. Right from the start, her career was jumpstarted, as Kallie would continue appearing in Marvel films.

Shortly after its release, Kallie began doing gymnastics and Irish dancing cause she needed more talents outside of acting goddammit. She also appeared in other films in between Marvel movies.

In 2015, Kallie was on set for the filming of Civil War. At first, everything was fine, and normal, and fine and normal. She talked to people normally, she was normal. Sure, she was a child actor, so she had her insecurities, but she still was normal and not all that traumatized. When she went back to her trailer one night, she found crew member, Clayton O'Hennessy, in her trailer. She was familiar with him, though confused as to why he was in her trailer.

She asked him to leave so she could go to sleep, which he did not. He talked to Kallie a little bit before he pushed her down onto her bed and raped her. He told her to be quiet and told her not to tell anyone. So, she didn't. This happened several more times while she was on set.

Kallie, once an extremely talkative girl, became much more quiet. She hardly spoke to anyone in between takes, she acted different, much more touch sensitive. If anybody asked what was up, she'd just lie and say she was homesick.

Now, instead of focusing on the abuse she was experiencing, Kallie found herself idolizing a certain co-star. Rachel Stark actress, RDJ's daughter, an older girl, a fellow redhead, ladies and gentlemen, Jadus Ymara Gressi. In Kallie's mind, Jadey was everything she wasn't. Pretty, perfect, the life of every fucking party, and lucky enough to not have been sexually assaulted. For the rest of her time on set, Kallie followed Jadey everywhere, and even when Kallie went home, Kallie constantly stalked her Instagram and other social medias. Basically, you wanna know anything about Jadey Gressi, Kallie's your girl she will yip yap about her forever.

Over the years, Kallie's obsession with Jadey has dwindled but it has never truly gone away.

It was in 2017, during the filming of Infinity War, when Kallie finally told someone she had been raped when she told Natalie what had happened. Three years later, and five years after it happened, she finally told her parents what had happened. During the summer of 2020, Kallie released a few singles. To give you a feel for at least two of them, think people watching by Conan Gray and I deserve to bleed by Sushi Soucy.

In 2021, she began filming Hush, which is how she fell in love with her childhood best friend, Kiara Abraham. Summer of 2021, after she attempted to prosecute Clayton, she made a video talking about her experience with sexual assault and naming her abuser. October of 2021, Kallie and Kiara began dating. Then, January of 2022, Kallie released her first album, Everyone is Dumb, alongside Natalie's, Sweet Deceit.

Other stuff happened in between that and in March of this year, Kallie released her second album, Bow Works. A month after that, Ronan Charles, Kallie's father, shot and killed Clayton O'Hennessy, Kallie's rapist. Kallie knew she was supposed to be happy or feel good about this but she didn't. She just didn't. She didn't know what this would do to her career. She was terrified. She thought she wanted Clayton dead but did she really? This sent Kallie into a spiral, of alcohol and attempting to kill herself, before she was like "okay I'm being dramatic yeah fuck that guy".

Kallie is currently living in Brooklyn with her girlfriend, Kiara, and this girl has been in therapy for years so don't worry, she's going to her weekly appointments.
