BACKSTORY Delilah Lucie Acosta was born on May 20th, 2000, in San Antonio, Texas, to Cathleen and Raphael Acosta, the youngest daughter. From a young age, she was subject to her father's constant abuse, though her oldest sister, Juliet, would often try to take most of the hits. When Delilah was six, she was snooping in the bathroom like six year olds tend to do, and she found a box of pink hair dye. Well, the parents weren't home, but the sisters were, so Delilah begged them to dye half her hair pink, like her favorite comic book character, Melanie Kent. Juliet and Allie ultimately agreed. Though she got in trouble with the parents (Raphael), Delilah has kept the side dye thing, occasionally dying it other colors, but mostly sticking with the pink.

From a young age, Delilah also loved starring in school plays and musicals and acting out scenes from shows and movies and comics in front of her family.

When Delilah was nine, Juliet left. Asshole father and girlboss daughter had gotten into yet another argument, which ended with Juliet smacking him, like he'd done to his wife and daughters so many times before. He told Juliet, seventeen, to leave, so, she did. Delilah went into Juliet's room, crying, begging her to stay, but Juliet left nonetheless. The sisters wouldn't see or speak to each other for the next ten years. The abuse continued, Delilah just got hit more.

Shortly thereafter, around Thanksgiving time, a boy at church took Delilah into the bathroom. This boy was Kyle Stephenson, who Delilah was very familiar with. He often aided the teachers during Sunday school and gave candy out to the kids. He often gave Delilah an extra piece of candy. He'd always wave to Delilah when he saw her on the street and he always complimented her 'pretty pink hair'. He was ten years older than her. Well, he pulled her into the bathroom, and raped her.

Delilah didn't really understand what had happened. She knew she didn't like it and she knew it hurt and she didn't like it. But she didn't tell anyone cause Kyle told her not to. This continued well into Delilah's teen years. Delilah was twelve when her parents divorced, though her dad was still very present in her life, unfortunate as it is.

When Delilah was fifteen, she became pregnant by Kyle. Unsure of what to do, she told Kyle first, who threatened to kill her if she got rid of the baby. So, Delilah kept the baby which ended up being two babies. At sixteen years old, Delilah became a mother to twin boys, Bear Connor and Beau Conroy Acosta, born June 2nd, 2016. She told her parents that she'd probably just hooked up with someone at a party.

Delilah became pregnant by Kyle again when she was seventeen. It was the same story, minus the twin boys. This time she had a baby girl she named Mindy Natalie, born July 8th, 2018. It was in the hospital with Mindy that Delilah finally told someone what was going on, and what had been going on for the past nine years. She told her mother what had been going on, and they filed a police report. Idk what happened with Kyle tbh he probably got away with it I don't know the American justice system is usually shit but at the very least she was away from Kyle.

Shortly thereafter, Delilah began writing songs, which she'd sing and post on YouTube. In 2019, Delilah released an original song called Candy, a song about grooming, which went massively viral. In February 2020, Juliet came back into contact with her family, which Delilah was very excited about idk it's midnight I'm tired.

Delilah released her first album during 2020. It was also during 2020 that she met Saoirse Cormac. By Thanksgiving of that year, the two were dating.

Delilah is currently living in wherever she's living with her girlfriend and three children.
