(Anika's pov)

"Anika, dad had called. Unfortunately they couldn't board the plane due to bad whether conditions." Shivaay entered the room .

"Oh! When are they coming now?" Even though I was nervous to disclose about my sickness but I was excited to meet them too.

"Don't be sad babe. They said they will try coming asap." I nodded and continued with my fashion work.

Loud thunder caught my attention, I stretched myself feeling my body stiff from constant sitting at one place for hours.

I looked around to find it's just me in the room. Shivaay must be in his study busy with his work. My stomach grumbled signing that it needed food.

I felt like having something sweet. So decided to make muffins for us. Quickly tieing my hairs into a bun, wearing apron and washing my hands- I started grabbing ingredients for the dessert.

I decided to make chocolate truffle muffin. It hardly took 15 minutes to make the batter , thanks to servants who had stocked up all ingredients.

Sliding the tray in oven and closing it, I set correct temperature .  It will take around half an hour to bake. Grabbing  few snacks, I made way towards living room where I was attacked by my RJ .

Didn't know when half and hour passed while playing with them.

Tada! The smell is so delicious, hahaaa..can't I praise myself? I added frosting to it and damn my mouth watered just by looking at it. Without wasting much time, I set muffins in a tray and moved towards study.

I entered in to find his back facing towards me busy with a call. Placing tray on nearby table, I settled on couch waiting for him to finish his call.

"Hey babe!" He turned around addressing me.

"How do you every time know it's me?" I asked wrapping my arms around his neck.

"You know, I can feel your presence." He pulled me closer by my waist.

I just hummed, loving the feeling of been in his arms.

"Wait! Do I smell something sweet here?"

"Come, I've made muffins for us." I pulled him with me on couch and passed him one.

"It taste heaven Annie. " He moaned relishing it's taste with his eyes closed.
