Ch: 12 Matchmaker or breaker?

As soon as I woke up on my fluffy brown blanket, with my ass on the floor I had my mind set.

Time to grow some wings and be a matchmaker, bitch.

I grinned at the thought as I made my way towards the adjoining bathroom to glamour myself up. I had it all planned out, today was the day of beautiful execution.

Time to find out just how much of a "Mr. Straight" Lillian is for James.

I pushed my bangs out of my left eye as I beamed at the mirror. I loved myself once every blue moon.

And guess what? Today was that blue moon.

I did my usual shit and almost flew downstairs, with my black leather jacket in place and hair up in a bun.

I found my parents in the kitchen. Papa was in his white coat wearing a dark grey t-shirt underneath reading a book about kid's psychological behavior during preteens. Dad was in his pajamas inhaling a pint of coffee.

"Morning Ray, aren't you up a little early?" Papa asked merrily before turning to look pointedly at Dad, "Because some adults can't even make out their feet from hand this early."

Dad began rolling his eyes, then shut them midways as if too tired to continue.

"Lo Red, fuck it's too early to be alive. Need more coffee." He mumbled.

Papa just smiled brightly at me which blinded me a bit before removing the kettle of coffee from the table, ignoring Dad's pleas and his grabby hands.

I smiled at both of them widely, which received wide eyed in return. I took two buttered toasts from Papa's plate and started munching on them.

Papa looked concerned, "You ok-"

I cut him off, "Going to James, I am mostly alright. No soccer practice today, folks. Yes, completed my homework and no Dad I won't help you steal coffee." I finished innocently.

And before anyone can say boo, I was out of there.

..................

Walking through the hallways, I had my eyes set in a particular direction. The spectacle I saw before was capable to wipe any raised mood I had been feeling till now.

Ariel Smith, 'Lillian's Girlfriend' and a person who doesn't give a shit about PDA or anything really was eating his face out. Lillian's face was a little purple due to the lack of oxygen she seemed to deny him.

I subtly intervened by smashing my foot on Lillian's shoes. Several cursed words later, Ariel released the guy.

"What the eff?" She said, raising an eyebrow in my direction.

I gestured at Lillian, "Lily here is needed to discuss and sort out the plays of the game. Sorry, mermaid. Now beat it."

She rolled her aqua eyes before smooching Lillian on cheek and walking away.

Now Lillian finally had my attention. He seemed still recovering from that kiss and his perfectly tame hair were messed up and lips swollen.
He seemed to take a movement taking a shuddering breathe in before turning towards me.

He cleared his throat, "Game plays, Timberlake?"

"There is no game plays coach asked to discuss. I wanted to ask you something important." I stated, looking dead into his eyes.

He seemed slightly uncomfortable, "Okay, shoot."

"Do you have any feelings for me? As in romantic ones?" I said, shrugging like I was discussing weather.

He remained blank for a movement, "Fuck no." I looked at him more surprised at the curse word, than anything, he cleared his throat, his cheeks reddening, before continuing, "I am sorry, but I don't see you that way. I can't give you anything except friendship."

I looked at his dark blue eyes for a single lie before smiling slightly, "Then why did you lied to James, when he asked you who do you like?"

He shrugged, "We were playing twenty questions, he asked which girl I would have liked if I was single."

I face slammed myself on the nearby locker. Stupid Jamsie.

I peered at Lillian who was watching me with shock and a tiny bit of amusement.

Yeah, enjoy my misery you mofu.

Here I am trying to get you the guy of your dreams, James Elliot and your boy toy is laughing at me.

"You like anyone? Boy or girl? Except your girlfriend? Because even a blind person who lives four miles away can tell you don't like her." I said.

A twinge of anger passed in his eyes and he flexed his jaws before relaxing himself, "No one."

"Why are you with her then?" I persisted.

What can I say? I am a nosy bitch.

"Because she won't break up." He gritted out.

A slow ass smile curled up my lips, "You want her to break up with you?"

He whispered leaning close, "Yes."

A full blown maniacal smile took over my face, "Want me to help you get rid of her?"

He looked confused, "You can do that?"

I chuckled lowly, "For a price."

He looked weirded out, "Okay? Whatever you want, if anything is in my range I would do it."

"Then put on the best heartbroken face, Lily. We are hitting two targets with a single arrow." I replied, loping my arm through his shoulders with a little difficulty.

"How exactly?" He muttered, ignoring the looks of passing students who were definitely not minding their own business.

"I will explain it in Maths. Let's head early so that we can find the most comfortable back seats." I said in his ears.

Perfect.

All I need now is Lillian's approval and a bit of traceless hacking. I know that first one would be easy, I just need Julian for the latter.

He was in my technology and computer classes and he was almost a genius at that stuff. Almost.

Ariel Smith won't know what hit her and her supposedly "picture perfect" relationship with the golden boy.

A/N: Thank you for reading! Tell me what you liked and hated in the chapter.

Love you!
