There was not a single sound in the whole academy. Everyone was asleep. But amidst all the silence, there was someone who was shivering with fear, trembling in sleep, murmuring something. The person, though was asleep was not calm at all, she was sweating badly and moving her hands and feet as if trying to escape her sleep. After some moments like this she woke up with a scream...

Girl- Aaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaa!!!!!!

Her roommate woke up with her scream and immediately sat beside her, taking her in a side hug to make her feel secured but it was not working today so he sat in front of her and took her in a proper hug.. a hug which was full of all  the feelings that she was craving for- care, warmth, love, affection, worry and all those emotions which she was supposed to feel from someone from her family.. Family... oh!! How much she craved to have one.. but she was not sad at all, it was not a topic over which she would panic.. she had her best friend and he was her family, he was her everything. 

Her roommate was about to break the hug but she tightened it instead. His rhythmic heartbeats were doing wonders for her. They were helping her gather herself back into who she was- The best cadet of her trainers and the only family to him. She was that one person for whom he was ready to give his heart, his life, his everything, and not only him even she was the same, she could fight the entire world for him, she knew that even if god said that he was trying to harm her she would not believe God. 

After some moments he broke the hug and passed her a glass off water which she gulped in a go making him look at her wide eyed. 

Boy- Pagal!! Pyaas lagi thhi toh bol deti.. ya Kam se kam ishara kar deti glass ki taraf.. par nhi.. madam wait karengi ki koi haath mein glass pakda de phir ek baar mein aise paani gatak jayengi jaise maano sadiyon se Pani na piya ho..

Girl- Are.. sorry na idiot.. ab bacche ki jaan loge kya?? Lagi thhi pyaas to pee gayi pura pani ek baar mein....

The boy sighed hearing her and then cupped her face with both his hands..

Boy- tu kyun nhi samajhti yaar?? Teko aise dekh ke mai kitna ghabra gaya thha jaanti hai? Uspe aaj tu ek baar mein calm bhi nhi huyi.. mai ek pal k liye darr gaya thha ki kahin teko kuch ho na jaaye??
Kya hua thha?? Kya dekha sapne mein?? Aunty ya....??

Girl- Nhi Karu... Mumma nhi aayi thhi sapne mein... Wo....
*Muted* (itni jaldi kya hai?? Abhi thodi poori story ka raaz kholungi??😝😝)

Ka- Mona... Tu kab samjhegi?? Rather..  kab maanegi?? Ho gaya Jo hona thha ab tu itna kyun soch Rahi hai?? Tu jaanti hai na tu ro uss insaan k liye rahi hai jo zinda hai ya nahi yeh tak nahi jaante hum.. 

(Me: So the girl is Monu and the boy is Karan)

Monu did not reply anything.. she just hung her head down while still crying. Karan felt bad seeing his best friend crying so much and so he tried to make her smile..

Ka- Accha chal ab pagal... aur kitna royegi.. do ghante bache hain drills mein.. agar wahan aisi rone wali shakal banake gayi toh trainers meko hee bolenge.." Cadet Karan Shergill.. Kya kiya aapne humaari best cadet ke saath??"

Hearing this Monami smiled amidst her tears.. She had stopped crying hard now.. but there were tears in her eyes and she was still breathing erratically.. so seeing no other option he tried the last thing which he was trying not to use..

Ka- sweetie.. chup ho ja na baccha..

Hearing this Monu looked up at him with a jerk.. she stared into his eyes for a minute and then engulfed him in a super tight hug.. she had stopped crying completely by now.. Karan hugged her back with the same care and warmth and peppered soft kisses on her hair to calm her completely and to make her realise that he was there with her.. no matter what happened.. he would be there with her always and... forever!!

They then broke the hug and Karan asked her to sleep again since they still had one and a half hours left for the cadet's wake up time.. Monami just nodded at his words and turned to go back to her bed and then again turned around and hugged him and said..

Mo- Thank you for coming in my life Karu... Please tum meko chhod ke kabhi mat jaana.. sab chale gaye.. tum please mat jaana..

Ka- Pagal ho gayi hai kya Mona?? Teko chhod ke kyun jaunga mai?? Kahan jaunga?? Tu mmeri only family hai yaar.. tere bina kaise rahunga tu hee bata??

Mo- Woh sab mai nhi jaanti.. tu bass promise kar ki tu mujhe chhodke nahi jayega jaise baaki sab chale gaye..

Ka- Promise.. (now cupping her face with both his hands)  kabhi nahi jaunga tujhe chhodkar khush?? Monami nodded her head in a yes ... Chal ab toh so ja jaake.. 

Monami- tu na best hai Karu!! 

Ka- Haan haan ho gaya.. aaj ke liye itna maska kaafi hai..

Monami giggled at him and then went to her bed, lied down, and covered herself in a blanket completely making her look like a seven year old kid.. Karan chuckled at him and then said to himself- pagal hai poori ki poori..

Mo- Good Night Idiot Shergill!!

Ka- Good night Irritating Mahajan!!

And then both slept on their beds, wrapped in the blanket knowing that no matter what happened they would always have each other's back..
