The Waltons are having a party and I was invited not by Jaden but by Javon, I wasn't going to go, but Jayla came to my house and dragged me out of my bed.

She did my hair while Kaylee picked an outlet for me to wear.

When we were done, they took me to their house. No one had come yet, so I stayed with the family.

Our friends started to come, and we started to party, Jaden was nowhere to be found I asked Jayla about him and she said that he bailed on us to hang out with Veronica.

She sounded a bit pissed and I don't blame her.

Jaden came when everybody had left "oh y/n I didn't know you would be here" he said "oh yea Javon invited me" I said "yea got a problem with that" Daelo said and Jaden shook his head "no no of course not. I love seeing y/n"

"Alright I gotta go Don't forget we have school tomorrow" I said leaving the house.

At school Jaden would walk Veronica to all her classes and at lunch they dropped the news.

"Guys Jaden and I are officially dating" Veronica said happily

I swear I felt my heart aching, so hard, and my tears are at the edge.

"oh my god congratulations" I said and in my happiest voice. "finally dude! I hope you're happy" Javon said high-fiving his brother.

At the end of the day, I saw Jaden and Veronica making out next to his locker, I sighed because my locker was right next to him.

I guess I'll carry my books back home with me
