Jaden and I went to the park to hang out we have this silly thing where we were to go to the park from time to time and play around at the kid's playground.

"You forgot about fake dating" he said "and best friends to lovers" he added and I felt my cheeks heat up "yea... so you tell me do you have anyone in mind?"

"Who is she?" I asked "so her name is Veronica and I don't know where she got my number from but she has it and we've talked from time to time" he said "so do you like her?" I asked hoping he'd say no.

"I don't know she gave me her Instagram and she looks kind of cute" he said and I felt my heart sting "Well let's just talk about something else" he said putting his phone away.

"Okay.. you know what. I just remembered my mom told me not to stay late I have a lot of homework to do" I lied "oh no you have homework and you're out how could she let you?" he said surprised "I have my ways, okay I gotta go bye" "bye, good luck!"

I got home and saw my mom on the couch watching a Netflix show "hey Y/n your early is everything okay?" She asked "yeah why do you think something's wrong?" "Because you never come early when you're hanging out with Jaden, so tell me what's up"

I sighed and she paused the show she was watching "okay so I might be overreacting but Jaden is talking to a girl and he seems to be liking her and I don't know.."

"Ohh so you're jealous?" "I'm not jealous" I said immediately and she raised a brow "what I'm not jealous, you know what I'm going to bed, Good night"

"No Y/n come back" "no I'm tired I wanna go to bed" I reached my bedroom and lay on my bed.
