Veronica was acting like a bitch toward me, and only me, she would act sweet in front of Jaden but show her true colors when no one was around.

She told me to stop calling her V her friends called her that and I'm not one of them.

Yeah, like I wanna be her friend  😒

After a barbecue party with the Waltons, she told me to back off of Jaden. I didn't tell anyone since they like Veronica and might think I'm making this up because I'm jealous of her which I'm not.

I don't want them to think of me that way, so I did as she said, and distanced myself.

The Waltons were my closest friends, and not being able to talk, or hanging out with them made me kind of depressed, not gonna lie.

I try to cheer myself up by trying a different hobby and I even dyed my hair blue, which my parents weren't happy at first about but when they saw that I was they started liking it.

I got a phone call from Javon telling me to come to the paintball field since they're all going, I wanted me to join them.

I was a bit hesitant, but both my parents and brother told me to go so I did.

As soon as I enter the shop Daelo ran up to me and hugged me "Hey D you okay" I asked hugging him back "yea I missed you, why don't you come around at ours anymore?"

"Yea Y/n/n are you mad at us or something?" Javon asked "maybe she found a better family to hang out with" DJ said jokingly.

"No one can beat the Waltons" I said, and they liked what I said.

"Y/n it's been forever since I've last seen you didn't said hugging me yeah, I've been busy I said Veronica was and was giving me a disgusting look what you made me feel so unwanted.

We got into teams of three

First team, team A (pink)

Usually when we have a paintball match, I would Javon and Jaden but for Monica wanted to be with her boyfriend.

When it comes to competition I'm a very competitive person. I love to win and that's when my athletic side comes out.

Playing with a Waltons is more fun because they're all athletic and have a determination to win.

I would jump, shoot and hide, I have a very good thing and usually I'm the one carrying my team.

I shot wanna, Jess, and Daelo, DJ shot Jayla and Jaden shot Kylee so now the only people left were me, DJ, Jaden and Veronica.

Veronica just stayed hidden in a place and wasn't doing anything so when I saw Jaden close to her, I shot both him and her.

Veronica got mad and accused me of hating her.

"You hate me that's why you did it" she yelled "what! No that's the whole point of the game, try not to get shot and you got shot so now you're out" I said, surprised by her reaction.

"See Jaden I told her she hates me" Veronica said running away crying " look what you did Y/n!" Jaden said mad "babe wait!!" he went after her.

Jaden had never gotten mad at me so I was a bit hurt when he said what he said.

"I'm out DJ you win" I said "no Y/n don't get upset you didn't do anything wrong" Jess said "V it's probably not into these type of games she might've overreacted, but I still wanna play" Dj said.

Come on, let's see who's the real winner he said handing me my gun back "come on Y/n/n I know you wanna do it" I smiled and took the gun getting back into the field.

Did you was good but I was better, I dodged that shot and ran to the other side, jumping on top of an old car that was there and hid behind the bush next to it.

When TJ turned around, I shot him twice "Y/n!!!" Jayla and Kylee ran and hugging me " we won we won, we won!!" They squealed.

"Hey blue hair!" Turned around and saw two guys walking towards us, they look like twins "we just saw what you did there and that was impressive what's your name?" They asked.

"Y/n" I said, and they looked a bit taken back "Y/n" they said and I nodded "what do you want?" I asked.

"So there is a huge paintball competition coming up we need one more person on the team and you caught our eyes so here we are" the eyed one said "so what do say, are you in" the mother one with brown eyes said.

"I don't know, I mean I barely know you or the competition" I said "she'll look through it" Jayla said.

"Alright here's a flyer and we wrote our numbers on the back in case you have any questions, you want us to answer" they said handing me the piece of paper.

I took the piece of paper and left, I showed it to Dj and he said that I should totally join them.

"Will even come and cheer you on" Daelo said excitedly "alright I have to ask my parents first" I happily said.
