With the threat of Orion growing bigger each day and the prophecy looming over her, Katya has to work through her advantages: one of them being that she's the long lost daughter of one of the five branches of royal werewolves: The Anosovas.

Being forced into a family that she sees as strangers, Katya must accept her role as one of the royal family and she discovers powers she never knew she had: powers that could potentially tip the uneven playing field like never before.

However, Orion isn't the only major player in the field. A new hunter is out to get Katya for his own purposes; Erebus, the Vampire King. With vessels, affinities and situations that seem too extreme to be true, Katya has to find a way to end the war before it begins, and it all starts with figuring out just who exactly kidnapped her from the Anosovas.
