Chapter 5

I'm not recapping, sorry. I'm really fucking tireddddd and just don't feel like it.

Virgil was pretty sure he'd lost his mind, or maybe he never had one, to begin with. Both sound like reasonable thoughts.

Virgil began to ponder the concept of what exactly was going on. Was he really about to die? And for what? To prove Deceit's Dominance to Pain...

Virgil groaned and laid back on his bed as he thought to himself: If Pain really wants Deceit to exert his Dominance he can shove it up his ass!

If the kind and Loving Deceit that he knew had any intent on hurting him... he could do just that, Virgil wasn't sure if he cared anymore.

Virgil was still surprised that Deceit had risked himself to warn him about the situation. For a guy who is litterally the embodiment of lies and deception, he isn't so bad.

Virgil shook the thought from his head as he sat up and tried to release some of the thick and very noticeable tension between everyone that Depression seemed to be enjoying.

Virgil kept his expression nuetral as he crossed his arms, "So are we just going to sit here like ducks or are we going to do something?" He had told himself that he needed to keep his 'cool' demeanour to keep Depression from knowing that he knew.

Deceit chuckled at the others remark but inside he knew that it was just a step to get Depression out of the room or at least them alone. (*wiggles eyebrows*)

With that being said, Depression got up from the arm rest of the couch and limply carried himself over to the door.

His feet drug against the floor as he walked and he had a slight slouch to his walk, at least Virgil tried to keep his posture and didn't drag his feet.

Depression had opened the door a crack to reveal the hall filled with light sides. Upon seeing it through the brightness of the hall and the slight gap through the door and Depression, Deceit and Virgil had let out a long and exasperated groan.

Depression quietly shut the door and turned to face the others, it seemed everytime he did so the rooms corners drapped in darkness. "Virgil can leave the room, but I advise he not because of the light sides lurking outside."

Virgil scoffed and crossed his arms. "I am a light side!" Depression shook his head and sat back down on the arm of the couch. Virgil glared at him, he wasn't even sitting up right on the arm of the couch and it didn't look comfortable either.

Depression had rolled his eyes and smirked. "No, you're a Can't De-side. Face it Virgil, you don't belong here or there... you belong nowhere!"

Deceit had stood up and grabbed Virgil by the arm, causing him to stand as well. The movement was sudden, so sudden that it had scared Virgil and almost caused him to fall back. "Virgil does not belong! Anywhere he goes he will not belong because that's just how unique he isn't!"

Deceit had went to leave with Virgil but before he could do so, Depression had retorted in quite a cold yet nonchalant tone. "Has Deceit gone soft? And for him?"

Deceit brushed the remark off with a groan as he pulled Virgil out of the room, his blood was pumping with anger and his heart racing. He wasn't entirely sure where he was going with Virgil but he just needed... away.

Virgil was conflicted by Deceits sudden actions but only figured it was from the incriminated threat of eachothers death. Deceit was still holding Virgil by the arm as they walke down the corridor and as the time passed, his hand slipped down to Virgil's wrist, ghosting over his hand.

Virgil's heart began to race for reasons he couldn't explain. Every light side possible was staring as they made their way to an abandoned room. Virgil walked in first and for once he hadn't questioned anything, not even when Deceit had let go of his wrist and turned to shut the door.

Virgil looked around, the place seemed beat up but if it meant staying away from the lumpy sack of sadness... it would do.

Virgil was pulled from his thoughts when Deceit had grabbed his hand and spun him around, the spin caused Virgil to get dizzy for a moment but he had forgotten all about that when he had felt Deceit's lips on his.

Virgil tensed but had slowly eased into the kiss and for a moment, it was like the world had just melted away with every intoxicating second Virgil's lips had been met with Deceit's.

A few moments later, Deceit pulled away and looked to his side shamefully. His mind was spiralling with posibilities of how Virgil would hate him but was released from his own anxiety when Virgil had kissed him for the second time.

It was merely a breif kiss that lasted no longer than a few seconds, but it was enough to assure Deceit that Virgil had returned these feelings that had went unspoken between the two for so long.
