Chapter 3
Depression roamed around the Mindscape until he came across an all too familiar dark red door.
He looked around with a smirk to see Roman sitting at his desk, writing down some off-the top ideas. Depression made his appearance clear with a low chuckle as he shut Roman's door and leaned against it with his arms crossed.
Roman held his breath for a moment, silently hoping that if he couldn't see him then he'd just disappear.... but that wasn't the case and he knew it.
Depression slowly walked behind Roman and tugged on his desk chair. "What are you working on Sanchez?"
Roman gulped, he hated what Depression did to him, how when his presence just made a heavy feeling of sadness and drier loom over him. "Just... Some ideas for Thomas to work on his uh.. m-mental health."
Depression chuckled and looked over at the paper that was titled How to get someone that I like (who hates me) to like me.
Depression smirked and spun the chair around so that Roman was facing the one he hated, the one that tortured him so that they wouldn't hurt the others.
"Now Roman..." Depression took Roman by the hand and let him to his closet, he opened the closet door to reveal a full body mirror. "... Just look at yourself." Depression stated coldly.
Roman looked himself up and down, "If your point is that I'm the most beautiful thing that Thomas has ever created... I totally agree."
Depression shook his head and let go of Roman as he walked over to the mirror, "Really look at yourself Roman..."
Depression began to point out all of Roman's flaws for the one-hundredth time, the way his white button up shirt made him look like a box and his red sash only made it worse, how he pretended to be so self-absorbed, so much so that its going to cause him to die alone... anything negative he could find, he pointed it out.
Roman just groaned as he tried to ignore Depression, "Get out."
Depression smirked victoriously and went to leave the red and gold shaded room. "Only because that's all I have time for today, shall we continue our shesh same time next week? I can't wait to see what you have planned for me!"
Roman groaned and laid on his side as Depression left with a smile and a wave, he headed back to Deceit to find no one there.
Deceit had grown tired of waiting for Depression, he'd began to wonder why he was waiting in the first place... Depression always degraded him.
So, Deceit took it upon himself to get up and begin heading towards Virgil's new room... hopefully there he would figure something out.
As Deceit made it to Virgil's room, he lightly knocked on the door... no response. This was typical of Virgil so he knocked a few more times, each knock harder than the last... still no response. So, Deceit took it upon himself to walk into Virgil's room to find it surprisingly empty.
Everything still looked the same, his style never changed.. that's for sure. Deceit sighed and closed the door behind him as he looked around, he figured that if Virgil wasn't in his room... he'd be in here soon.
Moments later, Virgil walked into his room. He was expecting being able to lay on his bed and slip away into the numbingness of his headphones but when he saw Deceit sitting on his couch and looking out the window, he jumped but was.... happy?
Virgil took his conflicting emotions and shoved them aside as he took a few steps forward: "Deceit... what are you doing here?"
Said side jumped and turned around to face his friend that he previously knew so well. "I uh... I don't have to tell you something."
He took that moment to stand and look Virgil in the eye, Virgil scoffed and rolled his eyes as he tried to make the moment less serious than it already was. "What?"
