It had been months since Virgil had left and Deceit hadn't really seen him, Virgil had become a valued side in the Mindscape, he'd even begun appearing in Thomas' videos.

Deceit, on the other hand, was only dealing with the troubles of living in the Darkscape and dealing with Pain. 

Deceit had plans to do absolutely nothing today but of course, Pain said differently he had wanted to see Deceit to possibly speak to him but after the last time they had spoken Dee wasn't so sure if he wanted to go, but it wasn't like he had a choice.

So out of will, Deceit decided to walk to Pain's office which was quite a morbid scene if you've ever seen it yourself. He barely knocked and the door swung open, allowing him to walk in.

Deceit took a shaky deep breath and stepped in, he looked around to see Insecurity sitting by Pains side, the thing with Insecurity is that he loved to mess with Deceit a long with others.

Deceit internally groaned and rolled his eyes when he saw Insecurity. "What don't you ladies want?"

Pain smiled as Insecurity walked up to Deceit, circling around him. "Well.... As you can see your little friend has left the Darkscape because he was weak, I suggest that you prove to me that your not weak before I kick you out of the Darkscape and keep in mind that when I kick you out, the Mindscape won't take you so.... who will?"

Deceit felt uneasy with Insecurity following his every move and Pain down his throat, he wasn't sure what to do except for show them that this wasn't bothering him. Deceit smirked and crossed his arms. "I would never want to see what you would do to me If I did."

Insecurity suddenly stopped and looked up to Pain with a smirk, he then stepped in front of Deceit and pressed against his chest as he firmly stated "We will throw you in the void for unused, unwanted, and broken sides. While you rot there we'll go after your little friend anxiety and beat him til he's numb then throw him in the void as well!"

Deceit's eyes widened, but immediately regained his composure. "So? I never cared for that piece of shit anyway... I was only around him to make me stronger so this'll be a breeze."

Insecurity and Pain smiled, it was like they were one side. "Then you won't mind if Depression joins you to make sure you actually go through with it."

Deceit turned and glared at the side sitting on the arm of the dark couch in the corner. "Fine."

Depression escorted Deceit out, as soon as they exited the room the door slammed shut. There was a thick silence between the two like they both were saying 'I don't wanna do this' but in very different ways.

After a while of walking down the hall, Depression finally decided to speak up. "Why did you have to get me involved, we both know you're not really going through with this, he's your best friend. Your going to die and then your going to cause Anxiety to die because of your lies. Face it, you're weak!"

Deceit shook his head and tried his best to ignore the insufferable Depression, "Nope, this is going to be a great adventure."

Depression chuckled and grabbed Deceits wrist, forcing him to sink into the the Mindscape. A wave of dizziness fell through Deceit, he never usually sank in and out of places so it was still a new concept to him. "Why the hell would you do that?"

Depression just shrugged with a devious smile. "I would love to see how you figure this one out..."

Deceit groaned and looked around, he was grateful that there was no one else around. He just sat down in the hall of the Mindscape, he wasn't prepared to hurt anyone... but he had to, Right?

Depression groaned and crouched in front of Deceit. "Do you even have a plan you pathetic pathological Liar?"

Deceit looked up at Depression and glared at him, saying nothing. He had began to wish that he would have never challenged Pain and Insecurity... his cockiness got in the way, and now he was screwed and he knew it.

From the lack of a response, Depression took that as a no and just shrugged, standing and walking away. "Well, while you figure out your tragic mess I'm going to explore."

Deceit looked up at Depression, judging him severely. "Isn't that a good idea, since ya know, we should be here."

Depression smiled and continued to walk away. "Exactly, oh and I'd think of something quick... your friends life is on the line, I'd say yours but you've always wanted to die haven't you. You've just been too weak to say or do anything.... Pain is right, he shouldn't even give you a chance, Your worse than the broken sides.... your a nuisance!"

And with that Depression had disappeared into the light of the Mindscape, the fellow dark-sides words echoing in Deceits head.

Nuisance

Broken...

Deceit knew he needed to focus, but he couldn't... Pain did this on purpose, he paired him with Depression just so he would spiral into a bought of depression... smart.
