Bepo

"No thank you and have a good night." She says winking at me and I look at her confused until I understand. My face flushes red and I shake my head.

"I'm just not even gonna touch on that." I say walking off towards a nearby cafe. "I'll be back in a bit." I wave over my shoulder and walk into the café. I go into the bathroom and change back into the lavender tank top and black ripped jeans. I place the purple dancer's outfit into my duffle bag and walk out of the café to find the crew still standing there. I can tell the guys are confused as to why there were waiting but Law just stood there waiting for me.

"Ah Bepo-ya let's go now." Law says when I walk over to them.

"Bepo? I don't see Bepo anywhere captain." Penguin says looking around in confusion.

"We'll talk about this on the ship." Law says and we start walking towards the sub. The crew look confused but they know Law so they start heading back to the ship. Law and I follow behind the crew.

"So what Devil Fruit have you eaten?" Law asks after a bit.

"Zoan type Bear-Bear Fruit Model Polar Bear." I say looking down and off to the side since I'm still a bit sensitive about it.

"That explains a couple of things. Were you also the one who made the delicious meals back then?" Law asks.

"Yeah Haruki couldn't cook worth a damn so I made out meals." I say looking over at him.

"You should start making our meals then. Yours was the most delicious cooking I've ever had in my life." Law says and I feel my cheeks heat up a bit. Truth is over time I developed a little crush on Law; well it's not little try gigantic.

"I'll think about it." I say before we climb onto the sub and I see the crew looking at us now that we were on deck.

"Captain what she's doing here?" Sachi asks and I look down at the ground depressed now.

"I'm sorry;" I mumble and Law pats my head.

"Bepo stop saying sorry and stuff." Law says and silence fills the area.

"Bepo? Bepo's a polar bear not a girl." Sachi says.

"Bepo if you'll please;" Law says and I look over at him in surprise before changing forms. I hear gasps fill the air and I resist the urge to roll my eyes.

"BEPO'S ACTUALLY A GIRL?!" I hear everyone yell and I just nod as I look down at the deck again.

"I didn't expect that." Penguin says.

"I'm sorry;" I say again but I feel someone place their hand on my shoulder.

"Bepo stop saying sorry; there's nothing to be sorry about." Sachi says as I look at him and he gives me a smile. I can't help but return the smile and I see everyone smiling back at me. I look up at Law who still had his hand on my head and he gives me a small smile as well.

"I should probably go shower unless you want the ship to smell like a stinky bear." I say and I enter the sub.

Time Skip to the Next Day

I whistled softly as I walked through the lively streets and I have a huge smile on my face. Last night I talked to the crew and they all said the same thing. You're one of our nakama so don't worry about it and no matter who you really are you're a part of this crew.

"You're extremely happy today." Law says and I give him a smile as we walk through the streets. The rest of the crew was behind us talking like usual while Sachi and Penguin started drooling over every pretty woman they see. We end up back in the town center and I survey the area to see it's the exact same as yesterday except there's more dancers. I freeze when I spot Shana since she's talking to someone I never hoped to see again. Shana's talking to a tall man in a butler outfit who had slightly greying brown hair and he suddenly looks up. When he sees me a smile makes its way onto his face but I just glare back at him. The man raises a hand and suddenly a swarm of men in suits surround us.

"I didn't expect you to be this easy to find my lady." The man says as he walks towards us and I can't help the growl that resonates from my throat. This man is someone from my past before I met Haruki and his name's Carl.

"Fuck off bastard." I growl out and I can tell the crew's surprised since I've never sworn around them even if I stub my toe on something.

"Now my lady that isn't etiquette manners for someone of your stature;" Carl says and I growl again.

"I'm a pirate; that's what I am through and through." I say and Carl steps forward. He's now a few steps in front of me and Law quickly pushes me behind him.

"Sorry sir but if you have anything to do with my crew then you'll have to take it up with me first." Law says and the rest of the crew suddenly surrounds me. I see Carl narrow his eyes in annoyance and he just slightly moves his fingers. The men surrounding us attack and the crew's barely keeping them back. Law's currently fighting multiple men at the same time when I notice a man sneaking up on Law.

"Law behind you;" I yell but too late. The man manages to put the Sea Prison Stone cuffs around one of Law's wrist and everything starts to go to hell after that. The crew tries to push its way to Law but we can't hold back the men. The men manage to separate us all and I see a couple of the other members have been captured as well. Two men suddenly pick up the weakened Law and Carl pulls out a gun.

"Now my lady; either surrender yourself or watch your captain die. You have 'til I reach ten to decide." Carl says pressing the gun against Law's head.

"One;" Carl says and I start getting some memories flow through my brain. I remember every single time I've spent with Law and my nakama. I don't want anything to happen to them because of me. I can't be the reason they disband; it would kill me but it'll kill me to go back there again. Back to that house; back to that woman.

"Eight;" Carl says and I snap back to reality. I rush towards where Carl and Law are but two men hold me back.

"Nine;" Carl says and he slowly starts pulling the trigger back.

"Stop; stop it. I surrender." I say and the guys who were holding me back step back causing me to stumble a bit but I quickly got my balance back. "I surrender so let them go. They have nothing to do with this." I say staring at Carl.

"Ah so the monster finally decides to be smart. Come this way monster; your mother is waiting to see you." Carl says and he removes the gun from Law's head. Carl makes a hand gesture and I see the rest of the crew get let free. Carl walks towards me and puts a hand on the middle of my back before leading me towards a carriage that I hadn't noticed before.

"I can't believe I didn't realize where we were before." I say as I stare at the carriage in shock until Carl gets angry enough to just throw me into it. Carl closes the door behind me and I hear a lock engage. Looks like they really want me home for some reason. I feel the carriage start moving and I slide the curtain that was located on the back window out of the way to look at my nakama. They were trying to come after the carriage but the men from before blocked their way.

"What the hell was that about?" Sachi asks as he props me up against the edge of the fountain and starts working on getting the Sea Stone off of my wrist.

"I have a feeling that has something to do with Bepo's past. Something she never wanted to remember again. Hey Shana who was that man you were talking to?" I call out to the dancer I met yesterday who was standing off to the side in shock.

"On this island we have one extremely wealthy family; the Rosewood's. That was their main butler Carl;" Shana says as she crouches down beside me.

"What would a wealthy family want with Bepo?" Penguin asks and I start thinking back.

"Did you notice how Carl kept saying my lady until Bepo agreed to go with him then he changed it to monster." I say and I turn to look at Shana. "Do the Rosewood's have children?"

"No one's one hundred percent sure but there's a story going around. The Rosewood's used to have a daughter but it's said that she's dead. You see it's just Sheela Rosewood now; a week after she knew she was pregnant her husband left. It's said that after the baby was born she just abused it and then something happened one day. No one knows what but on a rainy day the child just disappeared to never be seen again." Shana says.

"Catalina was such a good child too. Her smile always lite up the room she entered; here's a picture of her." One of the band members says and he hands me a photograph of a young girl with white hair and purple hair.

"Hey Sachi who does that look like to you?" I ask showing him the picture.

"That looks like Bepo;" Sachi replies and he finally gets the cuff off my wrist.

"The story fits as well. When Bepo was younger she got taken in by a man she met and when he found her she was basically skin and bones. Her feet were bloody from walking for days and he never learnt her real name. He just gave her the name Bepo one day and the name just stuck." I say as I carefully stand up. "Anyway we have to get Bepo back."
