ZOYA....

Zoya had just started chatting up with Arjun when Arjun mentioned about Aditya being in the same room as hers. She had seen him looking at her. They even had a 5 second eye contact. The longest and most exciting 5 seconds of her life! And the second time in life when Aditya Hooda had refused to talk to her (akdu kahin ka)

She thought of the time when Ammi had told Zoya that the Hoodas were keen on an alliance. Ammi said, Abbu & she will understand if Zoya wasn't keen. Zoya had asked for some time to think through the whole situation and come back. Zoya was then in London and just finished with her final exams. She was to meet Arjun the same evening and co-incidentally the get-together was planned at Arjun's apartment. As Zoya reached his place, she was aware Arjun would know. She didn't want to bring this up in front of other friends and she knew Arjun would respect her decision. She reached Arjun's apartment and a hot stranger opened the door. Before Zoya could say anything, he pulled his jacket close and walked away without even a word. Zoya had stepped into the apartment and some friends greeted her. She then saw Arjun.

Arjun: Heyy Z! when did you come in?

Z: just now... someone was stepping out and that's why I didn't need to ring the bell.

A: Must be Bhai. He's gone to meet some of his friends. You know, this is the first time he decided to stay back with me while flying. He has a halt of 3 days in London. But listen, I am yet to introduce him to Noor, so don't say anything yet. Please... and yeah, don't worry, The Hoodas are awaiting for the Siddiquis to arrive at a decision. You know what I am talking about.

Z: O okay. Thank you for respecting that. Either way, that isn't my story to tell- it's for the senior Siddiquis to decide. (smiling)

Zoya's heart was racing. That Hot stranger was Aditya Hooda? The same guy her Ammi spoke about! was he even for real?!! How can someone be soo good looking?! after a long time Zoya'd come across a drool worthy man, and she lived in England. The land of David Beckham!  Aditya must've been 6'2'' for sure. He definitely had 8 pack abs. his hair was so gorgeous. Falling over his eyes. He was fair and so well build. And his stubble made him look like a god. Will they hurt her when she'd kiss him? Moreover a pilot. If looks could kill, Zoya would've died a million times. But God save me till I see him in the uniform. Zoya!! come back!!

 All she wanted now was to sit in one corner and investigate. Devour every bit of information available on the internet about him. Zoya picked up her champagne and sat in the Balcony- all by herself. She was a woman on mission. 

She could hear Noor play the perfect hostess for Arjun. While Zoya & Arjun had finished their 1 year LLM after the 3 years LLB, Noor had just moved into her 3rd year. Zoya felt a little sad for them, they were a couple since the first time Arjun met Noor at Zoya's place in their success party for moving into the 3rd year. They were inseparable ever since.

Zoya's heart started to ache after reading all rejection stories about Aditya. How he walked an extra mile to avoid the media after his school sweetheart broke his heart. Damn that Pooja! While Aditya chose to slog as an engineer, the love of his life, Pooja, was the golden girl of the ramp. Pooja's linkups were a story for another day! Zoya got up and decided to go home. She was to take a small vacation starting tomorrow to Scotland with her friends, but Ammi's call had made her push the vacation by 3 weeks. She decided to live every minute in India to know Mr Aditya Hooda & then come up with her decision during her 4 weeks of Scottish vacation! Till then, it was India calling!

Noor and she helped Arjun cleanup after the party and were headed to the door with trash bags when they heard the doorbell. Some friends had decided to stay back at Arjun's since they were too drunk to drive back. Thinking it's one of them, bringing in change from their cars, Zoya opened the door without looking and turned to pick up the bags.

Aditya to Arjun walking in: Hope there's not going to be any more music? I fly out tomorrow early morning.

Arjun: No Bhai. Party's over. Just cleaning up. These are my friends... Noor & Zoya

Aditya: Yeah whatever, I am in my room. Bye.

Arjun to Zoya & Noor: Ummm... seems like Bhai is tired. He usually is, ummm... how to put it... ummm

Zoya: It's fine Arjun, we understand. It's getting late. Noor & I will push off now. Both hug Arjun.

Noor: Arjun, we are leaving for India day after, I got Abba book us on the same flight as you. Don't forget to pick us up on the way to the airport. I will be waiting.

Zoya & Noor Leave.

Zoya: Present day: driving to Siddiqui Mansion.

Zoya talking to self: Mr Hooda ye aapka masla kya hai. Ab sab samajhna padega, kyunki aapko jo samajhna hai (smiling)

Zoya entered the house and saw Harsh & Anjana Hooda. Waseem & Roshnaq were sitting with them.

Z: Good Morning Aunty (hugging Anjana), Good Morning Uncle (Harsh kisses Zoya on her forehead). So nice to see you both here.

H: Zoya beta, we're here in the morning because Anjana & I want to see you every morning!

Zoya blushed. She excused herself to go & freshen up since she was just back from the gym. Noor was standing behind the door listening to the conversation intently. She held Zoya's hand.

N: Appi, sun to lo kya ho raha hai

Z: chhodiya Noor, ye galat baat hai.

N: Appi, All's fair in love & war. And this is about love. Bas aap kahin ruk jaye 2 minute.

Both start to listen to the conversation.

Harsh: Waseem, we've had our differences in the early days in the courtroom, but today, I want to consent my defeat for bigger win. We know Noor & Arjun are together but we want both the daughters. We've already asked for Noor's hand but today we are here to formally ask for Zoya's rishta for Aditya.

Anjana: Yes, Bhai saab, Aditya is our first born and Harsh & I have loved him more than anything in the world. And today, I humbly ask for Zoya's rishta. We will try and give her all the happiness & love you've given her.

Waseem: Anjana ji, I will be the happiest person if this alliance worked. But Roshnaq & I await Zoya's decision. We have to talk to her before we make any commitment.

Roshnaq: Yes, Anjana, we have spoken with Zoya about this and she has asked for some time to think through. In all of this, we wanted to check with you if Aditya is okay with the alliance too. The kids haven't even met. We want them to spend some time together before they can decide.

Anjana: I am sure Aditya will never say no to our choice. Moreover, once he sees Zoya, he will never be able to say no.

Roshnaq: We have a family get-together at Taj tomorrow night, why don't you all join us there for dinner. The kids will also get an opportunity to formally meet each other.

Harsh: Waseem, there is one more thing I want to ask you. Even if the alliance for Zoya and Adi doesn't work out, I want Zoya to work with me in my law firm. I want to setup a new firm for Arjun & Zoya, and after Noor completes her studies, she can join them there too. Currently it will be a 50% partnership but as soon as Noor joins the business, the Siddiquis will own it with a 67% share.

Waseem: That will be fantastic. But zoya's asked us for 1-month break. She's going on a vacation to Scotland with her friends. On her way back, she wants to settle in Noor in London who'll start living there by herself. The bad news is Noor has decided not to pursue her LLM and come back immediately after her LLB is over.

Z: Mere Kohinoor, ye aapne kab decide kar liya

N: Arre Appi, ab aap apne Kohinoor ko poori tarah jaan kahan paye hai. Jaye fresh ho jaye. Aapki & hamari mother-in-law abhi rukne wale hai

Zoya goes to freshen up. She can't stop thinking about Aditya. This brings a smile to her face. Zoya's room is a white marvel. She walks into her closet to pull out the perfect salwar kameez for the occasion. She settles for a pista green long chikan kurta with same shade Slim fit pants (cigarette pants). She handpicked the special lucknawi ittar Ammi gets for her and was about to wear her Kajal when she heard a knock on her door. She opened the door to find Anjana standing there.

Anjana: Zoya beta, bahot pyare lag rahe ho. Agar aapke paas 5 minute hai to baat kar sakte hai?

Zoya: Arre Aunty, please come in. Of course, aapke liye bilkul time hai. Andar aaye, baithe, fir baat karte hai. Aap koi juice ya green tea lenge?

Anjana: Beta, jo mujhe chahiye, who sirf tum de sakte ho. Aditya ki zindagi bhar ki khushi. Mere bete ki zindagi sawaar do. I request you. Is shadi ke liye haan bol do.

Z: Aunty, but..

A: But what Zoya beta. Why are you hesitant

Z: Aunty, I read about Aditya's heartbreak. I think he still has to recover from it and it will be unfair to him to force this rishta on him. I know he likes Pooja.

A: Pooja? Aditya does like Pooja. But that was 11 years ago. I know what my son has been through. The innocent love of my 17-year-old boy became the gossip of every magazine because some people wanted to use it to their advantage. How do you think this Sharma enterprises sourced Money for their projects? By selling this story to the media. By never letting the buzz on it settle. How is their daughter the queen of ramp today? Only because the linkups of Aditya Hooda falling for her at a young age were highlights. The media never stopped chasing Aditya. So much pain it caused to my boy that Aditya left us to move to the US. Mr Sharma always knew Harsh will never agree for this alliance. So he took advantage of the whole issue. Only for Aditya, I have held Harsh from doing something drastic against the family.

Zoya: Aunty, I can understand, but Aditya ki marzi..

A: Zoya, bachhe mere Aditya se mil lo. Thoda time spend kar lo. Then you can make the final decision. I know my Aditya. He will never say no to my choice. If you agree to this rishta, I will talk to him.

Z: Aunty, I need to talk to AMii & Abba once on this. Aap please mujhe galat nai samjhe.

Anjana holds Zoya's hand and takes her to the living room. Anjana then removes her kangan and holds Zoya's hand.

A: while Zoya still needs to make her decision, Harsh and I have made ours. Irrespective of what Zoya decides, we consider her as our daughter. We will be happy if she chooses to become our badi bahu too.

She then makes Zoya wear the kangan. Looking at Noor, she calls her and says "While it is important I honour my elder daughter in law, it is important that you get all the love you deserve too, give me your hand so that I can make you wear the other kangan. Each my daughter gets one"

A: Roshnaq, Harsh me and the boys will all be there tomorrow night for the dinner but I want the girls to come over to Hooda House to start helping me prepare with the anniversary. Clearly, my boys are of no help.

R: we will be honoured Anjana. Thank you for loving my daughters as much we love them. What more can any mother ask for her children.

HOODA HOUSE:

Vikram: Adi, tonight there's a party where the school gang is coming together. It's at that new disc which has opened. Are you coming? Well why am I even asking you? You have to come because I really want to go. Plus, it's going to be an encounter between you and your archenemy Yash. He's coming too, tonight.

A: to main kya tujhe school ka bachha lagta hun ke ladne chala jaun. Grow up Vicky.

V: Tu chal raha hai hai iska matlab?

A: Koi Shaq!

Harsh & Anjana have left and Waseem is sitting with Zoya.

W: Zoya bete, while your Ammi is really excited with this rishta, hum aapki marzi jaanna chahte hai. App please kisi pressure mein aakar koi decision na le. Aap jante hai aapke Abbu aapke sath hai.

Z: Abbu, believe me I have thought through this. I am okay with this alliance. And I happily accept it.

W: jis cheez mein mera Zoya bachha khush, unke Abbu khush.

Roshnaq comes with Tea

R: ye kya khichdi pak rahi hai baap beti mein. Jaye Zoya, aapke dost aaye hai aapse milne.

Z: Yash aaye hai?

R: pata hai to poochti kyun hai. Jaye, he is in the baithak. Refusing to come in.

Zoya rushes to the baithak.

Introducing Yash Arora:

Yash is the elder brother of Zoya's school friend Mahi. Mahi and Zoya studied together in school. They come from Arora group of hotels family and Yash is a Bollywood Actor! After Zoya moved to London for her education, Mahi too got busy with her acads and has now started to assist her father with the Business. While in London, the friendship between Yash & Zoya increased, thanks to all the outdoor shoots. Yash has deep feelings for Zoya but he has never confessed them to her. Aditya & Yash are classmates, who never got along due to School boy rivalry- be it Acads or Sports.

Y: So madam, India aane ke baad bhi, you've not bothered to call me even once. It's me who has to figure out your dates now. Who's acting like a celebrity.

Z: Yash! I am so happy to see you. Ok ok baba.. I am sorry. Kuch haalaat aise hue ki hum aapko call nahi kar paye. But don't worry. Hum jald hi aapko sab batayenge.

Y: Aise nahi chalega Zoya ji. Aapko humare saath aaj dinner karna padega.

Z: Aaj raat? Oh.

Y: Please Zoya. There's so much catching up to do. I have so much to tell you. Please. See I am in Delhi for 3 days only. For this school reunion. Usko bhi side karke I've come to see you. I have an outdoor shoot coming up, for like 40 days. I will be gone to South Africa.

Z: Uff Mr Show off. Achha maan gaye hum. Will see you around 7? Par hamari ek shart hai. Kal ek family event hai, I need to be home by 10. Nai to Ammi naraz ho jayenge. Par jana kahan hai?

Y: Ek naya Disc khula hai in town. The reunion party is there. You come there and we can then move to the restaurant for dinner. What say?
