Zoya woke up to Aditya sleeping peacefully next to her. When did this happen? Didn't I sleep in Mahi's room last night?? She thought to herself. But she'd trade that anyway to wake up next to him. It was almost afternoon but Aditya needed his due sleep. It had been a long day for him yesterday. While her heart was still slightly hurt at Aditya's decision of staying behind for Pooja but waking up next to him made her realise she was important for Aditya. The way he held her in sleep showed his possessiveness towards her. Zoya knew her relationship maybe in initial days but it is meant to be forever.

She gets up and ties a loose bun of her hair. After freshening up she steps out in the living room where Pooja and Mahi are chatting.
M: Hello you! Raat ko mere sath and subah Aditya ke sath. Waah waah Zoya beta!
Z: Shuddup Mahi... ( Zoya said blushing)
P: Is Adi still asleep? There was this thing he had to speak with you about.
Z: You can tell me Pooja.. anything serious?
P: It's not my place to tell Zoya. But I want to apologise for all the chaos I am causing.
Z: Please don't say that. You're Aditya's friend, it makes you my friend too.

Zoya's phone starts ringing. It's Yash calling.
Z: Hello! If you've called to check whether I am attending your film screening then please be rest assured. Mahi and I are both in Bombay
Y: Well I realised that you're in Bombay. The news headlines gave it away.
Z: What headlines? You mean about Aditya?
Y: Stop playing Zoya. You exactly know what I am talking about. I could recognise you in the pictures.
Z: What pictures? I don't know what you're talking about.
Y: Are you serious Zoya? You're still denying it. See the link I'm sending.
Yash forwards the media link to Zoya. The pictures show Aditya kissing a mystery woman who undoubtedly is her. The character assassination for Aditya is in full swing. Zoya stays composed towards the whole news. She goes silent. Mahi & Pooja check on Zoya.
M: What happened? Is everything okay?
Z: Umm hmmm all is okay I think. Let me call Ammi and Abba once.
Zoya calls her Abba
Z: Hi Abba. Aap kaise ho?
W: Beta I am okay but I am not okay with what's happening in media. You kids need to understand the families you come from. We haven't announced engagement to give you both sometime and such controversies damage the dignity and reputation of both families.
Z: I know Abbu and I'm sorry. But please trust me I'll never break your trust and disappoint you.
W: I know that Zoya. But I want you and Aditya to talk about making this relationship official. We cannot keep putting the reputation of the families at stake.
Z: I know what you mean Abba. Please don't be mad at me. I am sorry. I will talk to Aditya about it.

Zoya hangs up the phone. She thinks of waking up Aditya but he's just slept. He needs to rejuvenate himself to stand strong supporting his friend.

A few hours later...

Adi wakes up to a startle. It takes him sometime to comprehend he's in Bombay and how his last day was. Walking towards the living room he sees the 3 girls happily talking to the designer for their outfits for the movie premiere in the evening. He has a smile on his face and his heart swells with pride how comfortably Zoya has assimilated Pooja as a part of her life and not let it become an issue between Aditya and her. Everyday this woman makes him fall for her a little more.
How did I ever live without you Zoya... it's something I don't ever intend to do again!

As the evening approaches, Zoya dresses up in her Black Chanel gown. She looks ethereal. Adjusting her dress and last glance in the mirror she steps out into the living room. "Do I look fine" she asked Pooja and Mahi.
"You look stunning" said the girls in chorus. Zoya smiles and picks her clutch. She's a little disappointed Aditya is not around to accompany them to the premiere of the film.

The girls come back home and Aditya is still not back. Zoya's feet are a little numb because of the heels and the party. She sits by the balcony in the room resting her feet in warm water waiting up for Aditya. It's close to 3 am when Adi walks in on a sleepy Zoya.
Z: Heyy!
A: Zo... you're up? I thought you'd be asleep. You look tired.
Z: I'm exhausted actually and my feet hurt but I wanted to wait up for you Aditya. Aap kahan the sara din. Hum pareshan ho rahe the.
A: Sorry... I was just distracted. Kuch ma'am the fir had to meet up some political party workers from my Mom's family party. Kya tumhara kal jana zaroori hai? The idea of you being away is kinda...
He comes and sits opposite Zoya. He gently holds her feet from the tub placing it on his thighs and gently massages her feet.
Z: that feels so good
A: I'm just trying my best to hold you back.
Z: These are my University friends and I have to see them. Everyone disperses soon and then don't know when will we all meet up again. I'm sorry Aditya.
Aditya stands up and walks up to her chair. He holds her making her stand up.
A: Don't be sorry Zo.. I'm just being selfish here. I want to keep you for myself. But more than that, I really want you to go out there away from all this nonsense and have some fun. You deserve a break my darling. But do remember that you belong in my arms.
Saying this he kisses her forehead and they spend time cuddling.

Next morning

M: Do we really need to go Z? It doesn't seem such a great idea anymore. Try talking to Aditya. Maybe you should ask him to join us. Your relationship is young and fragile and you guys need to give it time.
Z: Shhh... dheere bolo Mahi. I don't want Aditya to hear this and feel like he's obligated to come. He had plans to go to the US and finish his work too. It is painful...

A: what's painful Zo?
Z: (blushed deep pink) nothing. Mahi and I were just chatting up.
M: Ohh good lord! What blatant lies Ms Siddiqui.. tell Adi honestly that you feel you won't be able to manage this vacation without him.
Z: Shut up Mahi...
A: (smiles) will you miss me Mrs Hooda?
Z: I will and there's time to be Mrs Hooda. I'm still Ms Siddiqui.
A: Are you now? (He walks up to Zoya taking her in his arms from behind) what do we need to do to change that? Should we tell the media we're engaged? That way Mom will ensure we get married ASAP
M: While you've brought the topic up. When do you want to get married Adi?
A: Honestly if you ask me today and this vacation for which you're packing up should be my honeymoon.
Z: as if! Mr Hooda...
Zoya breaks the hug and moves forward. Adi pulls her back hard and nuzzles his face against her neck.
A: Zo, get this. It's October now and given your month long vacation, I give you 4 months. Life your life till January... 1st day of Feb and you're mine. Forever.
Z: Not 1st Feb... nooo...
A: Then?
Z: Umm 28th?!
A: Done.. next year, 28th Feb, you're mine.
He turns her and kisses her on her lips.
Zoya breaks into a big smile.
M: Ohh God you love birds!!!

Same day: late night @ the airport

A: You can still change your mind Zo.
Z: Ohh God Aditya. Aap bhi na.. I'm just going for a vacation. I'll see you soonest.
Pooja: I wish I could join you Zoya. I would've had a change of environment. I am so glad I made such good friends in Mahi and you.
Z: Absolutely Pooja. We're there for a month. You can come in if you want.
Aditya holds Zoya's hand and takes her aside. He caresses her face and then softly kisses her on her lips.
A: I have all my faith in you and I trust you but you should know this that every time I'll see you watching the cricket match with that Arshad playing, I'm going to burn in jealousy. You're my girl so I trust you with my life. That means I need to come to Scotland sooner to kiss these lips and hold this hand. I've never said this to you Zo, but I'm falling in love with you.
Zoya has a smile on her face. Did Aditya Hooda just tell her he loves her?! Did that just happen?
Z: I'm going to miss you too Aditya. But please finish all that needs to be done and go to the US. I can't wait us to be man and wife.

Zoya hugs him and walks towards the entry of the airport.

Aditya walks towards the car with Pooja and the paparazzi begins chasing them asking them all kinds of questions and clicking various pictures. Suddenly Pooja is pushed and Aditya moves forward to hold her. He knows the pictures now being taken will become the headlines but he doesn't care. He knows what he shares with Zoya and the world can go to hell.
As predicted, the next morning the newspapers are flooded with the pictures of Pooja and him and the media is going gaga about them finally finding their happy ending. Anjana has called Aditya several times since morning telling him how unhappy all this makes her. But Adi needs to finish the investigation routine with the police to ensure Pooja's safety. With all closures, by day after he can fly off to US to finish his work.

A week later: Zoya in UK and Adi In US

Arshad Akhtar the Indian cricketer is having his breakfast in the hotel lounge when Zoya walks in with her friends.
A: Ohh my God! Is it you Ms Siddiqui? It still is Ms Siddiqui right? Ya nikaah ho gaya hai?
Z: Haha you're funny Arshad. There's a little time to become Mrs Hooda.
A: What are you doing here? Please say you're here to see us play?
Z: I wish I could. But I'm here for my vacation. 3 days before I leave for Edinburgh.
A: That's great. Even my next match is in Edinburgh next week. And we have a game tomorrow here in London. Goes without saying that you have to come and see us play.
Z: I wish I could but my friends are all here and I don't want to be a hassle.
A: You can being everybody along. It'll be my privilege to host you Zoya. After all you're Aditya's fiancée.
Zoya smiles and agrees. While talking to Aditya over phone she tells him about her plan. Aditya after hanging up the phone says to himself: it's going to be a field day for the media tomorrow in London. Ms Siddiqui I think it's time to come and claim you as mine!
