Granny Wendy finally placed the finishing touches of her grandchildren's bento boxes, she smiled lightly, it was finally their first day of school, Anna would be in the first year while Nomoe would be in the second year.

"Good morning, Granny!" 

Wendy turned around and saw her youngest grandchild.

"Good morning, Albert. Do you mind waking Anna and Nomoe up for-"

"WAKE UP, ANNA HENRY JERGEN!" Someone yelled from upstairs, Wendy shook her head and took her right sandal off, it looked like Nomoe was already awake. Nomoe walked down the stairs and instantly got smacked on the head with Granny Wendy's sandal.  "OW! WHAT WAS THAT FOR, GRAN?!" Nomoe exclaimed, Albert hid behind his granny in fear of his elder brother. "Control your volume in this house, young man." 

"DON'T TELL ME WHAT TO DO, OLD HAG!" Nomoe yelled.

"Nomoe, that's not how you treat your grandmother." Henry Jergen came out of his bedroom with a fresh chef's uniform. "H-Henry, you're still home? Doesn't your restaurant open at 5?" Nomoe questioned, Henry shook his head. "Aye, I was supposed to open my restaurant at 5 but I decided to move it to 8:30."  Anna rushed down the stairs and threw a ruler at Nomoe, which ended up taking his eye out...

"Bye-bye, elder brother! Bye-bye, adoptive big sister!"

Wendy and Albert waved Anna and Nomoe goodbye... Nomoe glared at Anna with his one remaining eye as her placed his arms behind his head. "I hate you," He grumbled. "Whatever floats your boat." Anna rolled her eyes...

An irk mark appeared on Nomoe's forehead. "DON'T RESPOND TO ME LIKE THAT!" Nomoe smacked the upper back of Anna's head which caused her to jerk forward. "MY MOTHER WILL HEAR ABOUT THIS!" Anna yelled, Nomoe suddenly shrunk and fell on his knees. "I'm sorry, my dearest sister! Please forgive me!" Anna scoffed. "Stand up, you're humiliating yourself." 

"HEY! NOMOE! IS THAT YOU!?"Someone yelled from afar,

Nomoe recognized that annoyingly stupid voice and got up. "No, it's Mary Driscoll, prancin' around in mi dress!" Nomoe mockingly stated in a girly Irish accent , Anna's face turned red out of embarrassment, she looked around to see a few nearby people staring at them. "Damn, ya seem mad, Nomoe-" As the boy who knew Nomoe and Anna approached them, Nomoe's temper got worse. "HELL YEAH, I'M MAD! THIS PRICK JUST SHOVED A RULER INTO MY EYE SOCKET AND THEN YOU APPEAR OUT OF NOWHERE!" Nomoe turned around and marched off to school by himself. "Dang, that guy's temper is real. Anyway, how ya doin', Anna? It's been a long time since I last saw ya."

"Mornin', Upper-classman Okazaki. I'm doin' fine, and you?" The boy called Okazaki shrugged. "I've been better." Anna nodded...

Once Anna and Okazaki approached the school, Nomoe was standing by the gate waiting for Anna. "ANNA  HENRY JERGEN! GET AWAY FROM THAT JERK!" He shrieked, Nomoe marched angrily towards the two and dragged Anna away from Okazaki. "If I see you causing a bad influence to my sister I'm gonna throw you out the highest floor of this school... Through the window... I got my eye on ya." Nomoe gestured his eye on Okazaki before dragging Anna to her classroom. "Do you mind not dragging me around the campus?" Anna asked, Nomoe nodded his head. Anna groaned and looked at the students staring at them. "Good morning, Nomoe!" Nomoe was stopped by a girl with orange hair and a sweet smile. "Outta the way, Petra! Sister comes first!" Nomoe pushed past the girl, but is stopped by another guy. "Nomoe, isn't that- Ugh!" The guy wasn't able to finish his sentence before he bit his tongue. 

"Nomoe, I'm gonna get goin' to my class now, you can talk with your friends."

Anna snapped away from Nomoe's grip and raced to her classroom. 

"Buddy, Olou, remind me to never let you near her... Or my brother... Or any of my family... Ever!"

Anna ran into her classroom and finally caught her breath. "Good grief finally!" Anna laid her back on a desk and sighed. "Aight, today will be a great day... Not that it had a good start, but, oh well." Anna sat on the desk and bonked her head on it's surface.

"Oh, are you okay?" Someone asked, Anna lazily turned her head and looked up to see a freckled boy. "Huh? Yeah, I'm good." Anna said before turning her head back the opposite direction. "Oh, I see. What's your name?" Anna turned her head back. "Anna Jergen... And, yours?"

"That's a nice name, I'm Marco Bodt." The boy smiled, Anna found the boy adorable with his chubby face, his kind smile, and cute little freckles. "Thank you, Marco. Nice meetin' ya!"

"ANNA JERGEN!" Nomoe slammed through the classroom door with a bento wrapped up in a light blue hankercheif.

Anna's face turned pale. "Eh?" She silently questioned, Nomoe skipped towards her desk with a big smile. "You forgot your lunch, deary! Granny made your lunch look like Rabbity-rabbity! And added some rabbit meat as well!" Nomoe came between Marco and Anna, he handed his sister her lunch with a womanly  "Mhm". Anna grabbed the lunch and pushed Nomoe out of her classroom...

"Do you know him?" Marco asked, Anna shook her head.

"I have never met that man in my life." Anna smiled nervously.

"She's my sister!" Nomoe poked his head through the open classroom door. Anna smacked Nomoe's head out of the classroom.

"Adopted."
