[apr 15th 2022]

soo, sometime back, while reading an artemis fowl fic on ao3 (more accurately, a Juliet Butler fic because she's kickass), the end included blackout poetry.  It took the ending from "Romeo and Juliet," and turned it into a happy ending, and basically it was just beautiful and so awesome. 

so, for no reason at all, a week or two ago I tried to do something similar for the ending of hamlet

It's nowhere close in terms of quality or making-sense, and really, it just turned out gay tbh

also i'm only publishing this is because its 4:38am rn and i will fight god

(i mean, this is called the book of bullshit. its all about posting bs lol)

just a few side-notes:

• "audience to this act, time" means Time is witnessing kinda thing yk; does that even make sense-

• the more an antique than a dane part refers to how antiques are precious and usually left close where a dane would, presumably, hope to die in war (which is assumed a glorious death, but why die when u can be used by some teen for a shitty piece of poetry?)

• the liquor thing is celebratory; not poisoned n stuff

• "with conquest" is a continuation to "my story is this," kinda referring to 'ascent & this [the 'this' is for interpretation, but i like to think it as peace/love'

* "sol" refers to 'sun'* the silence dies means like the negative representative of silence is dead yk
